Conclusion
Detective Dale lit up his cigar. He pondered over the evidences he had discovered. There were English books and notebooks on the desk next to the corpse. On the ground lied letters, academic writings, and draft papers with scribbles about a fantasy story called Freedonia. Was she a writer? No. She was too young to be one, and her writings did not show any sign of being a professional one. He checked over her bag. There was a student ID card. The victim turned out to be a student of a university of languages. Those documents must have been her assignments. However, they were all written a long time ago, before her sudden death. What could this mean?
"Detective Dale, the medic team gave us this result."
The assistant gave him a folder containing medical reports about the dead girl. Suddenly, his brown eyes shone brighter than any star on the sky that night. He finally understood.
Detective Dale had come to the conclusion. There was no murdering. The poor girl passed a way from a stroke after staying all night preparing for her end-of-term exams.
"You're right detective!"
A resounding voice echoed from above. It was the spirit of the young girl. She laughed and pointed her fingers up to make "the Ling Ling symbol" (👆👆)
"I have reincarnated into a Goat-person in Freedonia Realm and become a writer for a group of rebels. Thank goodness I don't have to stay on this dying planet anymore. Anyway, great work detective Dale! I hope you will solve your next case as easy as this one. Sayonara!" - she spoke with a cheerful voice.
After that, the ghost vanished, leaving Dale with a bewildered look on his face.
