Chapter 1: Leaving Devil's Tongue
I am walking towards the Devil's Tongue guild hall feeling excited for what I'm going to do. I'm going to quit so I can find people that could help me with redeeming myself.
It'll be hard though since I'm now fight my core nature of being a devil.
I go up the stairs and I enter the meeting room.
"There you are, Nix." Master Jupiter says in an annoyed tone.
"Sorry I'm late, Master Jupiter." I apologize to him though I'm not really sorry.
After about an hour into the meeting I decide that it was finally the moment.
"Well it was nice knowing you all but I'm leaving the guild." I simply say as I stand up from my seat.
Master Jupiter and the others look at me.
"What did you say, Nix?" Jupiter asks me gritting his teeth angrily.
I couldn't help but smile mischievously.
"I said I was leaving." I say again trying to push Jupiter's buttons.
Better to indulge myself in minor mischief to keep myself from losing complete control.
"Nix, you are making a mistake." Mori explains to me.
I look at her.
"I don't think I'm making a mistake. I'm bored here and I want to indulge myself in other stuff." I tell her honestly.
"No one simply leaves my allegiance." Jupiter snaps at me.
Lets make him even more mad.
"Jupiter, we all know that you are just jealous that I'm free and you are stuck in a human shaped cage!" I cackle maniacally at him.
Jupiter then rushes towards me and kicks me into the wall.
I groan out a pain filled laugh.
"Why don't you do that to me, master...mmm." Zaine says and everyone looks at him with disgusted looks.
I take the opportunity that everyone is distracted.
"I'm gonna go now. Teleport!" I say and I teleport to somewhere random.
I originally planned on a longer chapter but I was losing my idea so I kinda rushed.
Any ideas that you all would like to see me add to this book?
