Prologue (Short)
I look at the hurt looks on the rest of the Protectors Guild members faces.
I feel guilt fill my heart. Well where a heart would be if I had one.
"I'm sorry I lied to you all about what I truly am. That I am a devil." I apologize truthfully. Kay walks up to me.
"Why did you lie, Nix?" She asked me with a sympathetic look on her face.
I hesitate to answer.
"I lied because I was afraid of how you would all react if I had revealed what I truly am." I start to explain. The Protecters look as though they were intently listening.
"So I lied and disguised myself saying I was a water mage." I continued on and I start noticing looks of understanding and sympathy on the other members faces.
