Chapter 23

Seeing Seb in flesh, in front of me made my jaw drop.

"S-Seb—" he squeezed my hand and winked, signaling me not to talk so I didn't. I shut my mouth and looked around, moving closer to him.

"How did you sneak here?" I whispered.

"I know you just won't leave me after that mini reunion in Bikini Bottom, Gabriela," he whispered back and slowly backed down as if in the action of curtsying.

"I'd accompany you back to your room, your majesty," he mumbled and confused of his action, I looked around and saw Catherine beside me.

Oh, I got it.

"Grazie," I mumbled, "thank you for the kindness, unlike someone who spilled allegedly accidentally to the queen-to-be without even her apologies. What a shame."

I saw how her face darkened, she was about to say something when I put my palm on Seb and walked with him away from the hall.

The guards are eyeing me. I was scared they're gonna follow us and take Seb away but when I saw Seb nodded at some of them, I was completely lost.

"Pabantay ako ng pintuan," he said in a low voice.

He's talking to a Filipino?

I stared at the guard's hidden faces more, gasping for air when I saw familiar faces.

"Mga tang ina!" I exclaimed loudly.

The boys jumped. I saw Ian's eyes widened when he realized they've been exposed. Then, I counted. Owen and Romeo's even here in their royal guard uniforms! What?

"Gab—"

"Ingay talaga ng bibig nitong sirenang 'to," Seb held me more. "Best actress ka dapat, kunwari 'di mo sila kilala. Mabubuko acting natin nito, 'te."

"O-Oh, sorry po." I mumbled and covered my mouth.

"Hello, Gab," Owen smiled at me. "Sige na, maglandian na muna kayong dalawa ni basher, kami na bahala rito. Moody kasi si kamahalan no'ng wala ka—"

"Tang ina mo, Owen," Seb hissed. The latter frowned.

"Gwapo raw you." I translated it for him and smiled cutely.

"Salamat, kamahalan," Owen even joked a curtsy, making me smile widely.

I missed them so much. I wanted to hug them all to greet but I am aware there are eyes watching.

The boys went with us. I didn't know what they did to the other guards but I didn't mind. Right now, I felt safe.

Seb isn't saying anything. I realized he's been wearing a waiter's uniform, that white long sleeve and black bowtie and slacks with those black apron wrapped on his waist with large pockets.

I looked around, slightly nervous. Seb must've felt the tension for he gripped my palm tighter and hid our intertwined palms on his pocket.

I glanced at him. He didn't look at me and remained staring in front of us with his alerted and cold face.

He looked enraged but the way he held my palm and caressed it with his thumb, it says otherwise.

We reached the door of my room and when Seb opened it, he glanced at the boys.

"Pasuyo na lang ako, salamat." He mumbled.

"No worries, your majesty," and to my shock, the three boys curtsied and of course, the calmness on Seb's face faded and was replaced by his infamous frown.

"Anak ka ng... papangit n'yo! Madapa sana kayo, una nguso!" He hissed loudly, the visible annoyance was there. "Puta, kinikilabutan pa rin ako sa majesty na 'yan. Tara na, Sandy, nanggigil ako sa mga 'to!"

"Oh, why Sandy?" the chuckling but curious Ian asked. "Do you have Sandy on your name, Gab?"

"Ah!" I smiled widely, "no, Sandy kasi is the name of my—"

A large palm covered my mouth.

"Shhh!" he warned while whispering, "talaga bang gusto mong malaman nila anong ginagawa ko kay Sandy?"

My cheeks flushed. I remembered how he said hi, hello, how are you to Sandy and thinking of saying it to other people... nope.

I pulled Seb's palm from my lips.

"O-Oh, it's nothing!" I answered the boys, "it's about the character lang sa Spongebob? You know Sandy? The squirrel with a cute flower on her suit? It's nothing, really. It's not like Mr. Crabs are saying hi, hello, how are you—"

He covered my mouth again.

"Gabriela!" he hissed.

Uh-oh... sorry...

"Huh? Ano raw?"

He hissed defensively. "Pasok na kami! Bye! Tang ina n'yo." Seb hissed and pulled me inside the room.

He shut it close and gently pushed me behind it. He lowered his palms from my mouth and the moment he lowered it down and saw my face, the annoyance vanished.

He put his palm above my head, towering me. He's like a darker version of those prince charmings I'm watching and reading on books and it made him look hotter.

"Ayos ka lang?" he asked while caging my gaze with his.

I smiled a little then suddenly, my lips trembled as I shook my head. The happiness vanished that quick as horror filled me.

"N-No, Seb. I-I'm scared." I mumbled, couldn't help it anymore when tears fell.

"Fuck." He cursed under his breath when he saw it. He was too quick to cupped my cheek and locked gazes with me. "Shh, I'm here, hmm? I'm here..."

I lifted my palm, grasping his collar as I look for his eyes.

"Melody," I mumbled, "Seb ko, they g-got Melody. We have to save her, please. We have to... we have to..."

"We already did, princess," my eyes widened in fraction hearing him.

"Really?!" I gasped loudly, "h-how is my baby? Is she okay, Seb? Eleonor said she got her, I'm scared of my baby. How is she? Is she hurt? Is she..." I was panicking.

"Shh..." he hushed, gently taking my hand gripping his collar for a gentle caress. "Calm down, princess. Melody is perfectly fine, she's with my family."

It calmed me down but still, a hollow inside my chest is there.

"Where is she? And how did you get her? Can I see her, Seb? I just want to m-make sure Melody is okay," I almost begged.

"She didn't get her." He answered me, "at least they didn't get the chance to."

My forehead creased, asking for more explanation. He took the palm he's caressing and pressed it against his lips.

"They lured the guards I hired by saying I've been calling them when I didn't, one of your maids even gave them drinks. She said it was from you."

"That's the same thing happened to me!" I gasped loudly, my palm fisting. "A maid came and gave me some tea to help me sleep, she said it was from you..."

His expression turned vile. It darkened.

"Mga gago," he hissed loudly, "kung bibigyan kita ng inumin ako mismo o kaya sina Owen ang uutusan ko. Hindi 'ko aasahan 'yang mga gagong nasa paligid mo. Anong nangyari? Nahilo ka ba? Nakatulog ka doon? Tang inang mga gago." His jaw clenched.

"They're pakyu, Seb," I mumbled back. "Don't praise them. They're not gwapo, they're ugly."

He was taken a back for a while but ended up sighing loudly.

"Ang hirap talang magseryoso kapag kasama ka, Gabriela," he mumbled under his breath and placed his forehead against mine.

I felt his fingers caressing the back of my head.

"Nahilo ka ba pagkatapos uminom?"

"Opo," I answered in a small voice, inhaling his scent to calm my nerves. "I was watching Melody sleep and making some bracelet when I got dizzy. I fell on the floor."

"Tang ina," he mumbled under his breath. He slowly let my forehead rest on his shoulder while checking my head. "Tumama ba ang ulo mo sa semento? Saan ang masakit? Mga gago 'yon, ah?"

"Here," I pointed the part where I remembered bumping first before I lost my consciousness. "My head bumped, it's so masakit, Seb. Super ouch."

"Tss..." he tsk-ed and kissed my head. I buried my face more on his shoulder. "Mga gagong 'yon. Anong karapatan nilang saktan ang sirena ko, ah?"

I pouted and nodded like a kid. He continued kissing my hair for comfort. It warmed my heart.

"Don't worry about Melody. Tataya ko buhay ko 'di lang masaktan 'yong mini conyong bulol kagaya mo, Gabriela." He whispered on my ear.

"Meanie," I mumbled back and slowly moved away to see his face. "How did you stop them from taking her when they got me? And the guards are from you?"

"Oo, sa tingin mo ba hahayaan ko lang kayong napapalibutan no'ng mga guard na 'yon? Guard ba 'yong unang umaaligid sa 'yo? Bakit mukhang mga kriminal?" he asked.

"They're from the duchess, I don't know. I have guards from Anton, too, but they're leaving after I got inside my room. The only people I probably had around was from you and the duchess lurking around somewhere that night. Did they do something?"

"Panigurado katulong 'yan no'ng matandang mukhang manok pangsabog sa ginawa nila sa 'yong mermaid-napping."

"Huh?" my forehead creased. I didn't know what to address first. "Matandang mukhang chicken? What's sabong?"

"Ah, 'yon 'yong away no'ng mga manok tapos pustahan." He explained to me, "next time magsabong tayo."

"O-Oh, okay? And what about the last word you said? Why is it like that?" my forehead creased.

"Ah, mermaid-napping?" he asked, "bakit? Sirena ko 'yong kinuha nila sa akin, 'di naman kid kaya mermaid-napping. Hindi ka ba sirena? Unless, tanggap mo nang dikyang ginamitan ng dinamita ka talaga?" he shot his brow up.

"I'm a mermaid!" I answered, pouting. "You're right, what they did is mermaid-napping! It's against the law! They shouldn't do to a queen!"

"Tama 'yan, 'te. Gusto ko 'yan palaban kid ka, kapag nakita mo sila tapos inaway ka, h'wag kang papatalo. Scholar kita kaya basher ka rin, okay? Sige, medyo pabebe nga lang pero p'wede na rin." His words, might sounded brute and mean was a love language for me.

I smiled softly at him. He tsk-ed again and fixed my hair behind my ear.

"Oh, you have a point." I nodded.

"Mabuti na lang kausap ko 'yong head no'ng oras na 'yon. Saktong pagbalik niya tulog na 'yong mga gago sa pintuan tapos bukas 'yong pintuan. Pagpasok niya wala ka na pero nando'n pa rin sina Melody atsaka 'yong mga kapatid mo. Thanks to Hernando, he protected them."

"Hernan?" my eyes dilated, "what happened? Is he okay?"

"He fought with those men who planned taking Melody, too. He was shot but he's recovering now. My men saw them before they even got Melody. Wala siyang nagawa kasi nauna kang kunin bago pa siya magising pero ang mahalaga, hindi nakuha si Melody. Kahit naman naiirita ako kay Hernando kasi paladesisyon, nagpapasalamant ako sa ginawa niya. Kung wala siya, ewan ko na anong gagawin ko kapag nasaktan din si Melody, Gabriela."

The despair and worry on his voice resonated mine. I squeezed his palm back to comfort him, at least.

"They really didn't get her. Thank, God." I whispered, "all this time they were blackmailing me. They're using an innocent kid for their own satisfaction. Evil witches, mga sister ata ni Ursula!" I blurted angrily.

"But Seb..." I hesitated, lifting my face to see his face. "I heard about my father. Is he really..."

"Anong sinabi nila?" he asked, his forehead creasing.

"They said he was d-dead," my voice faded. "They killed my father, Seb. They killed h-him."

He sighed loudly. When he saw me shaking, he held me closer to his body for a tight hug.

"Do you trust me, Gabriela?" he whispered. I nodded without thinking twice. "Good girl, Sandy. Please do. Trust me."

He didn't answer my question, maybe he was afraid I'd break down and cry but the way he assured me about trusting him, I wholeheartedly do and it was enough.

Complete silence filled the room. My knees started buckling when Seb held my hand to take me to the bed and when he saw it, he didn't think twice and carried me on his arms.

"Seb, sorry, am I mabigat?" I asked in a small voice.

"Nah, akala mo libre? May bayad 'to, prinsesa." He answered. I smiled a little.

"What?"

"Kiss lang, 'te." He even pouted his lips handsomely, making me giggle. I lifted my body and without warnings, I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.

He was frozen. I really thought he got stuck or something but realized he's blushing.

"Seb, are you..."

"Hindi, ah!" he frowned while gently lowering me on my bed. "Anong namumula? Sinong nagmumula? 'Di ako namumula, ah!" he exclaimed like a broken record.

"What?" I smiled cutely, "I didn't say naman na you're namumula, ah? Why so defensive naman?"

He cleared his throat, looking away.

"Wala, daming napapansin nitong shokoy na 'to. Saan lagayan ng damit mo? Magpalit ka ng damit, basa. Baka mapagkamalan kitang juice, mainom pa kita d'yan."

"Why inom when you can eat me naman?" I showed him a malicious smile. He rolled his eyes like a mean boy and frowned.

"Ayan, sige, Gabriela. Maging mahalay ka na rin. Akala mo ba mabait ako? Aba't h'wag mo 'kong susubukan, wala 'kong pakialam kung may isang shotgun lang tayo dito tegi na tayong dalawa. Papatulan ko talaga 'yang biro mo. Sinasabi ko sa 'yo 'di ko titigilan 'yan, lalo na't 'di pa tapos mag-kumustuhan si Mr. Crabs at Sandy?"

"No one's stopping you naman, eh," I smiled widely.

His eyes darkened. I really thought I could lure him with temptation, mostly when he closed his eyes and gulped harshly.

There na... he's gonna say yes...

"Hindi ako marupok sa 'yo, Gabriela Isabelle." He said timidly before standing up, almost cursing while walking to the closet inside my room.

I watched his back, smiling a little.

Silly Seb... I love him ng very super talaga.

For once, I was happy the duchess didn't care much about me. The sun had already set, darkness filled the skies but ever since I got here. I'm sure Catherine let him know about me disappearing naman siguro.

Seb left to fetch me some dinner while I was taking a bath and changing my clothes. He chose a comfortable pair of sleepwear for me and when I got out of the bathroom while drying my hair when I saw Seb leaning on my headboard and watching me intensely.

He's freshly showered too, wearing nothing on top and black pants. From the couch, I saw his waiter's uniform. His hair's disheveled and still wet from the shower. His other leg is elevated with his arms placed on top of it. I saw his black wristwatch with the bracelets I gave him.

It's two now, the first one and the latest. It suited his wrist since the second one is thinner, you wouldn't even notice.

My eyes wandered while I was walking towards him. It fell on his abdomen, making me swallowed hard. I moistened my lower lip.

"Anong tinititigan mo d'yan, Gabriela? Gutom na gutom, 'te?" he shot his brow up playfully.

"Hmm..." I hopped towards him. He chuckled and caught me, assisting me as I sit on his lap.

"Hello, Mr. Crabs, super yummy naman ng abdomen mo. Can I make haplos and say hi, hello, how are you again?" I asked happily.

"Harot-harot ni gaga," he chuckled before he caged me on his arms. He hugged me tighter and assisted my legs until I'm sitting sideways. "Bawal muna mag-hi, hello, how are you. Maninipit si Mr. Crabs kasi nawawala ang secret recipe ng Krabby Patty. Kawawa naman 'yang Sandy mo kapag gigil siya."

I nodded, smiling.

"Okay, Gab-Gab and Sandy are good girls for today but I'm starving, did you get the foods?"

"Oo, sandali," he planted a quick kiss on my cheek before gently carrying me off his lap and made me sit on the bed.

He moved, I almost groan loudly when I saw him wear his shirt in front of me.

"Luh, malungkot 'yong sirena." He commented when he saw my face. I pouted. He chuckled and messed with my hair before fixing the foods on my bed.

"Oh, kumain ka na. Ito ang kakainin, Gabriela, hindi ako." He informed before sitting behind me and drying my hair with the small towel.

"Where are the boys, Seb?" I asked, "are they outside? Can we call them so we could eat together? The foods are madami, eh. Is there a party?"

"Kumain ka ng marami, hindi ka kumakain ng maayos, Gabriela. Nangangayat ka na," he answered. "Wala na 'yong tatlo d'yan, humimlay na."

"Huh?"

"Wala, sabi ko nasa kwarto na, pinalayas ko na ang iingay, eh." He answered.

"But how about outside? Who's guarding? What if they saw you here? Baka you might get hurt?"

"The guards outside are from me, don't worry about it." He answered and touched my hair, "atsaka may pagkabuang naman 'yong dugong 'tsaka 'yong tandang na manok. 'Di nila malalaman."

"Hmm..." I nodded, smiling. "Thank you, Seb. Your names for them are mean but I say desurv! Mga pakyu people!" I raised my middle finger in the air.

"Gabriela!" he warned and pulled my hand down.

"Hmm? Why? They're pakyu naman, ah?" I asked curiously.

"Tangek, mali kasi. Ayusin mo 'yong daliri mo, dapat mas litaw 'yong gitna para pakyu." He fixed my finger correctly, "'yan, ganyan. Iangat mo pa tapos ngudngod natin sa pagmumukha nila."

"Pakyu!" I said again and raised my finger, earning a proud laugh from him.

"Good girl, tama 'yan, Gabriela. Naku, scholar ni Baste 'yang Sandy na 'yan!" he tapped my shoulder. I giggled.

Oh, it's adorable having someone supporting your mean side. I felt like I'm a basher, too. Seb kasi!

I fed Seb with the foods too and he happily accepted it. While I was eating heartily, he began combing my hair with his fingers until he spoke.

"Saan suklay mo, mahal?" he asked.

My heart pounded. My cheeks heated and without commenting, I pointed the dresser.

He began brushing my hair, even lamenting and saying my hair has sabit but I know he's just being mean. My hair is soft kaya, he just wanted my attention kaya I'm giving it to him.

Being mean for him is a sweet thing when he does it for me.

"Seb, can I ask you a question?" I asked after a moment of silent. I'm done eating na and he's still combing my hair.

"Hmm?"

"I'm just curious, how did they find you? Your mother and father? You told me before you were an orphan. I'm sorry for prying, ah? Kasi before when I found out you're a prince, I asked G about it and she told me a few things." He remained silent so I looked back, "uhm, if ever you aren't comfortable, it's okay. You don't have to tell me naman."

I sounded guilty for prying. I'm worried he might be mad but he was just staring at me amusingly.

"Daldalita talaga 'yang pinsan mong terrorista," he commented and shook his head. "Siya nga rin unang nakaalam sa akin, paano ba naman no'ng kinausap ako no'ng imbestigador nina Mama nakikisilip si terrorista. Nag-aala-Marites si G, nagpanggap pang nagulat no'ng nahuli ko. Pangit gumanap ni gaga."

We both laughed.

"You're mean naman kay G," I said, smiling.

"Hayaan mo siya. Naku, Gabriela, kung nakita mo lang paano ako alipustahin no'n porket jowa siya ni Cap? Partida nga nakapasok 'yon sa barko nang puro pa-cute lang kay Castanier. Rupok-rupok ni Cap, nakakastress! Ano bang kwinento niya sa 'yo?"

I told him everything G told me while he added some points on it.

I was resting on his chest while he's resting his back on the headboard, our fingers intertwined.

"Kahit wala ka na kasi noon, nando'n pa rin ako." He said, "I might've gotten mad at you at first but I can't help but still have my hopes up. I lurked around, followed you every conference. I watched you from afar but you are out of reach. I was really down, Gab. Tignan mo, sa sobrang down ko napapa-English ako."

I laughed, moving my head to kiss his chin.

"It's okay, you sounded so hot speaking in English anyway. I can't wait hearing you speaking in full Spanish, I'm curious how would it sound."

"Pangit 'yon, panigurado," he answered. "Nag-aaral pa lang ako, nakakaintindi naman ako tapos sumasagot ng kaunti pero parang gago lang. Halos isang taon pa lang ata ko sa Spain, sina Mama lang madalas kong kausap."

"So, how did they find you ba? Queen Mila is such a sweet mother, I was so happy knowing her, Seb. You know ba na Eleonor isn't my real mother?"

"Hmm, I found out years ago when I got to Spain." He answered. My forehead creased.

"How?" I asked curiously, "I didn't even know. She had lied to me before, saying she was my mother. That I was the reason why she had to marry my father. She made me feel bad of being born because she got stuck in this royal family and yet... all this time, they were all lies. She's just trying to manipulate me."

"Mama knew all along about Eleonor," he answered, "who do you think would ask for alliance and wed her favorite nephew to a princess?"

My mouth parted, "huh?"

"She was so glad the princess of Italy is such a good girl. She was probably happy to marry Anton off to you but I came, sinong unang supporter ng anak? Edi si Mama."

"Oh..." I covered my mouth.

"They found me when I passed out in front of the palace. I got into an accident before, right? I still haven't fully recovered but I really wanna see you even after you pushed me away." He answered, "the queen saw me on her way out to attend for a party. They brought me to the hospital and thought I looked like my father when he's still young. They secretly conducted a test and found out her guts are true. I'm his son, kinuha ako noon sa kanila ni Papa."

"Sorry," I bit my lower lip. "I should've been there when you found them... you had told me stories about your parents while I... I wasn't even there for you."

"Wala kang kasalanan, Gabriela. Pagkatapos pa rin no'n, nagpatuloy ako. Nando'n ako kasi akala ko ikaw 'yong sa conference. Mukhang gago pero nagbakasakali akong kakausapin mo 'ko. Handa naman akong mag-sorry no'ng sinabi kong 'di na kita paborito. S'yempre, 'di 'yon totoo, para nga kong aso kakahabol sa 'yo."

"Isang tahol na aw-aw na lang kulang, askal na ko, Gab." He smirked. I caressed his cheek.

My eyes softened.

"It wasn't me inside the car, Seb," I whispered, gripping his palm tighter.

"Alam ko," he breathed. "Alam kong 'yong dugong na Catherine 'yong nando'n."

I glanced his way with a questioning look, "sinabi sa 'kin no'ng chikadora mong pinsan. Galit ako noon kasi iniwan mo 'ko pero no'ng muntik ka nang malunod galit na galit ako sa sarili ko. Hindi ko alam kung kakausapin ba kita pagkatapos o hindi na kasi galit dapat ako. Kahit binugbog ako no'ng una ayos lang kasi gusto kitang makita talaga kaso naulit. I was hurt, thinking you lied. You've told me you love me tapos ni hindi ka lumingon o kumurap man lang no'ng pinagtulungan ako."

My eyes swelled, thinking how much he suffered when I left. I moved my body to hug his nape.

"S-Sorry, Seb," I whispered on his ear. "I-I would never do that to you, I'd never... I'd never hurt you. I could never bear watching you being beaten like that. I-It wasn't me, I'm sorry..."

He chuckled on my ear and caressed my back gently.

"Hmm, I know. Alam kong si Catherine 'yong gumawa. Tinatawag ko, nagmamakaawa na akong kausapin kahit saglit ni hindi ako nilingon. She probably watched me getting beaten on her limousine. Kapal ng mukha, pa-VIP si dugong. Akala mo naman kagandahan."

Even with my tears, I did my best to stop laughing.

"S-Seb..." I gripped his shirt, burying my face more on his chest. "Stop making me laugh, I'm crying, oh. Sorry..."

"Tss, bakit umiiyak ang Gabriela kong 'yan?" he whispered. He was too quick to help me change my position and made me straddle him. I sat on his lap and embraced him more.

"S-Sorry, Seb ko. Sorry. Sorry." I sniffed. "I-I don't want it to happen. I'm sorry if I'm always leaving you, I'm sorry. Even after what I did to you, you are always still looking out for me. Y-You never stopped caring."

My chest felt heavier as I felt his warmth.

"I-I thought..." my lips trembled, "I thought you won't know where I was. S-Seb, whatever they told you isn't true, ah? I-I won't abandon you for petty things, m-mostly not because of a man kasi..." I sniffed.

"It's alright, I know you won't." He whispered. "Tahan na iyak, Gabriela ko. Nakakabawas ng pagiging gorgeous 'yan kapag nanakit ang mata mo. Gusto mo 'yon, 'yong mata mo parang nasabugan ng dinamita? Edi ikaw na si Sandy na sabog?"

He tried lifting the mood and try stopping me from sobbing more.

"N-No," I shook my head. "I-I wanna tell you the truth now. I didn't leave you because I am marrying someone else before. I was wrong for not telling you who I really was, a princess, kasi you said you're scared and didn't want to get involve with one again after what happened before with my cousin. I was also scared you might go away if you found out I'm a royalty but I swear, I swear in my life... I had never loved anyone b-but you."

"Talaga?" he tilted his head to stare at me. He looked so serious but the way his lips tug is playful.

I nodded with my eyes still blurry.

"Hmm... I love you from the bottom of my heart." I touched my chest, "e-ever since I saw you, I'm attracted. I wanna have a vacation lang naman in Brooklyn before I become a queen, I never intended to fall in love with someone but some fairytales are true. You can't control your heart when you've fallen in love and I couldn't. I swear, what I felt... what I said to you before are nothing but truth. I have loved—no, I still love you. Fully. I-I love you like I already knew you for eternity."

"Uh-hmm," he hummed. He slowly dried my tears from my cheek. "Talaga? Mahal mo 'ko? Sobra?"

He pursed his lips.

"Y-Yeah," I nodded with my eyes still swelling. "I have left you because E-Eleonor threatened me she'd kill you if I won't leave."

"Tss..." he frowned at me, "sus, bago pa niya ako mapabomba napasabog ko na mukha niya."

"H-Hey!" I smacked his arm, "of course, I was scared of your safety. I am the future queen but the guards and everyone around me was controlled by her, I couldn't do anything. I am a royalty but I couldn't... I couldn't even do s-something, Seb. It broke m-my heart to leave you but I had no choice. A sniper's threatening you the same time, that's when you're in the hospital with G and Lucian."

"Ospital?" his forehead creased, "ah, 'yong kay Magnus dati?"

I nodded.

"Kaya pala pakiramdam ko may iba," his forehead creased. "Pumasok ako kasi pakiramdam ko may nagmamasid sa akin, no'ng una nga akala ko gwapo lang kasi ako."

My shoulders slacked. He smirked.

"H'wag ka nang iiyak, 'te, sige ka, nakakapangit 'yan." He chuckled lowly and pinched my chin playfully. I crossed my arms on my chest.

"Hmp! How can you be so relaxed after I told you that you almost got killed because of me!" I hissed.

"Ilang beses ko rin bang sasabihin sa 'yong 'di ako takot mamatay para sa 'yo?" he asked me back, making my mouth part.

"Seb... don't say that." I shook my head, "I don't want anyone to die because of me..."

"Anong silbi ng buhay ko rito kung 'di 'ko maprotektahan ang mag-ina ko?" he asked. I froze.

"H-Huh? What do you mean by t-that?" I asked, in complete shock.

He eyed me seriously, I gulped harshly.

"Mag-ina, it's... mother and child, right? What do you mean?" I could almost feel my chest exploding in nervousness.

I will tell him but not this way!

"Melody's my... uhm... cousin?" I smiled awkwardly, "y-yeah... yeah, she's my..."

"Sarcism ba 'to, o ano?" he asked me with a poker face look.

"Sar...cism? What?" I asked back. "Is there a word like that?"

"Pinsan? Ah, oo, pinsan mo nga si Pearl Melody na tinatawag kang Mama, gamit ang phone kong sira na. Mahilig at collaboration ni Spongebob at Little Mermaid ang pangalan. Pula 'yong buhok tapos itim 'yong mata kahit blue halos lahat mata n'yo tapos kamukhang-kamukha ni Mama Gab. Oo nga, pinsan mo nga, Gabriela." He lamented with a bored look.

I nodded, biting my lower lip nervously.

"Y-Yeah, uhm, cousin? W-What a cute coincidence, right?" I even chuckled awkwardly while he remained eyeing me intensely.

Slowly, my awkward laugh faded.

Oh my... is he mad? Wrong move, Gabriela!

"Sure ka na d'yan, sirena?" he asked again, moving his face closer to me.

I blinked rapidly, the intense shift of emotion can be felt barely inside.

"Huh, y-yeah... is there any reason why I shouldn't be sure?" I asked nervously, panicking now that he tilted his head closer until our noses are touching.

"Mayro'n ba? Hmm, Gabriela?" my eyes shut close when he moved the tip of his nose to my cheek and touched my waist to gently dig his fingers in it for a squeeze.

I gulped harshly, "yeah?"

He kissed the side of my lips briefly, my breathing labored.

"Seb..."

"Ano, Gabriela? Sure ka na ba?" he asked me again and this time, I felt his hand caressing my silk nightdress until it lifted on my bare back, his warm, calloused palm touching my bare back.

Heat started consuming me. I gasped loudly and moved my waist against his crotch when he shifted our position. I fell on the bed, my eyes are wide open. He placed his palm above my head while towering above me.

"Your majesty, I'm asking you," he said hoarsely. "Are you sure, hmm? Sigurado kang pinsan mo?"

How possible it is to feel the heat and nervousness at the same time is unexplainable. I gripped the sheets when his finger ran gently from my nose down my lips. My mouth parted, he sensually caressed it.

"S-Seb..." I opened my mouth to try and tempt him by sucking his finger but it vanished before I even did. It went down my chin towards the gap in between my chest until in slipped on my brassiere.

"Tough princess, aren't we?" his intense eyes looked at me.

"Oh, gosh!" I blurted when his palm cupped my breast. "Aamin ka o kakagatin ko 'tong dalandan mo?"

"Sebastian Leandro!" I hissed loudly when his finger teasingly grazed my nipple.

He kissed the side of my lips briefly, I followed it to ask for a kiss but he moved his face away.

"Seb!" I whined.

He smiled evilly, my eyes shut closed when he gave kisses on my neck while avoiding my lips. He showered it with playful small kisses, sucking my skin heartily while playing with my peak.

"O-Oh, Seb, p-please..." I whispered. "I want you, please..."

"Answer your part of the bargain if you want me, Gabriela." He whispered and lowered my nightdress, exposing my melons.

I saw his eyes darkened when he saw it and without hesitations, he took it by his mouth.

I was literally out of my sanity. He wasn't doing anything, just sucking my breast alternately while massaging the other one and yet, my hands are gripping the sheets frustratedly.

"Kiss me..." I whispered, "Seb, kiss me..."

He gave my peak one last and sensual lick before lifting his head to kiss me. I shut my eyes closed, waiting for his kiss but I felt none.

I opened my eyes, annoyed but he was only eyeing me seriously.

"No kisses for a naughty girl, your majesty." He smirked and tugged my nipple in between his finger. "Not until you tell me the truth."

"Seb I..." he was deliberately teasing me. I was frustratedly humping my waist against his crotch when he stopped my waist from doing so.

"Nope," he clicked his tongue and played with my peak again with his tongue while locking his gaze with me.

"S-Seb, Sandy is crying na..." I whined. "She wanted to say hi, hello, how are you!"

"Nah, under construction, Sandy. No visitation in bikini bottom until further notice." He smirked.

"But..."

"Actually baka mag-close na nga rin ang Krusty Krab habang pasaway pa rin si Sandy." His lips left my aching breast and smiled playfully. "How about we sleep now, your majesty—"

"Melody is our daughter!" I blurted out of nowhere.

His smile froze.

"I..." I fisted my hand nervously to sit and explain. "I wanted to tell you but I was scared and Eleonor manipulated her papers by saying she was my cousin. Melody's only two but she said she's already three to fool anyone. She said it will be a disgrace having her, she wanted me to abort my blessing but I won't... I didn't want to. I would never. I love Melody, Seb. She's the blessing God gave us."

He didn't say anything. I lowered my head.

"Sorry, for not telling you the truth immediately. I would understand if you'll get mad at me. I'd accept any punishments b-but... Melody, Melody is ours. Sana you'll a-accept her. Melody is our baby blessing, Seb."

"Alam ko," he answered casually.

Shocked with his reaction, I lifted my gaze to see his face and he was just staring at me with amusement.

"H-Huh?"

"Pagkasalubong ko pa lang sa kanya, isang malalim na titig lang, Gabriela, naramdaman ko." He answered while I was just gaping at him. "Pagkakita kong pula 'yong buhok tapos itim 'yong mata, tapos hawak pa 'yong phone ko? Sinabi ko sa isip ko, 'Ah, ganda naman ni bebe. Feeling ko, souvenir ko 'to sa bikini bottom.'" He answered.

I blinked, "when did you find out and why? Why didn't you tell me you knew?"

"I was having doubts but I confirmed it the same night. Ganda ka lang, Gabriela, pero pangit mo gumanap. Ilang beses na kitang nahuli kasi ang daldal mo. Kumikinang 'yong mata mo kapag pinag-uusapan si Melody. Nerbyosa ka no'ng nakita mo kaming magkasama, I bet you didn't even remember you said our daughter when she woke up from the dream that night in the bathroom."

"I... I did?!" I covered my mouth.

"Sabi na, eh," he tsk-ed. "Alam ko na, matagal na. Hindi ko lang sinasabi kasi alam kong may prinoprotektahan ka do'n sa dugong atsaka 'yong tandang na Eleonor. I am sure Catherine pretended to be you because you're carrying our child."

"H-Hmm..." I nodded, watching his reaction. He's so cool with it and it made me worry. "Sorry, but you... you aren't mad?"

"Paano 'ko magagalit kung nagpapaliwanag kang labas 'yang dalandan mo?" he asked. My eyes fell on my chest and gasped loudly, lifting my clothes up to cover my melons.

"Sorry..." I mumbled and locked gazes with him, "you're not galit?" I asked gently.

"Wala 'yang galit na 'yan, Gabriela. Mas mahal kita." He answered, hiding a smile.

I jumped on him. I know how shock he was when I straddled him without words and hugged him tightly.

"Thank you, Seb. Thank you." I whispered, kissing his cheek and his neck while hugging him tight. Our chest squeezed against each other and not a moment later, I felt his palm on my waist as he moved his hips gently until I felt his hardened crotch.

"Hindi ako galit pero may ibang galit na, Gabriela," he whispered darkly.

"H-Hmm?" I bit my lower lip nervously, pulling away frorm him to stare at his pants with his visible bulge. "Angry si Mr. Crabs?" I asked and poked it curiously.

"Tang... ina," he cursed, his grip on my waist tightening. "Don't poke it like that, baby."

"It's hard," I commented, staring at his eyes gently. "Can I do something to help you with it?"

His jaw clenched, "are you sure you can do it? I am not mad but my crotch is, he wanted to give Sandy some punishments for being so damn naughty."

I nodded carefully, so sure of my decisions.

"I would love to accept any punishments from you, your highness." I answered darkly, showing him a sexy smile and it was his breaking point.

Every ounce of his patience snapped and I was so confused when he asked me to go up. I followed and he sat on the side of the bed while looking up at me while standing in between his parted legs, watching him curiously.

"I didn't wanna sound rude to her highness but..." he clicked his tongue., "would you like to give me the honor and visit Mr. Crabs?"

I nodded. I was shocked at his words but found myself staring lewdly in between his legs, swallowing hard painfully and in heat. I stared at his crotch and slowly lifted my face to look at him.

"Ito na ang tamang panahon para sabihin ko sa 'yo ang secret ingredients ng Krabby Patty, Sandy." He smirked darkly and motioned the floor with a pillow in it. "Luhod, Gabriela."
