Part 31 Judgement
Arnav came to RM with Khushi. They saw Aman there. Arnav frowned, seeing him there.
"ASR, why did you call me here? Did you come here with Khushi, tackling Nandhini? Do you know how I'm waiting here?" Aman asked.
Arnav looked at Khushi questioningly. Khushi nodded yes. Arnav understood that the police would have called Aman here to restrictrom coming to Nandhini's place when they rounded him up.
"Nandhini is dead..." Arnav said.
"Whaaaat? When? How?"
"The police shot the helicopter when she tried to escape."
"But, why did she escape? It's not illegal to be a lesbian..."
"The police didn't surround her just because she was a lesbian. She is involved in human trafficking. She kidnapped many children for their organs..."
Aman was shocked.
"What are you saying?"
"Yes... The police traced her phone calls and followed her activities through a few CBI officers. They found out about her underground activities and rounded her up."
"CBI officers in her place? Who are they?" Aman asked with shock.
"Durga..."
Cutting him off,
"Whaaaat? Durga? Isn't she deaf and dumb?"
"No, she is not... She can even sing. She herself said that."
"I can't believe this..."
"You won't believe if I told you who was her senior officer..." Arnav said with his loop-sided smile.
"Who?"
Arnav was about to tell him who that was, but he stopped, seeing a police jeep halting. He was confused seeing Khushi's uncle getting down from the jeep. Khushi smiled at him.
"Are you alright, Khushi?"
"Yes, uncle. We are fine." She said majestically.
The way she answered him made Aman more confused. It was not her way. She always looked naive at Nandhini's place but now, her attitude seemed different. And, what was her uncle doing here? Why did he come in the police jeep?
"Arnav, he is my uncle, Raj," She introduced him to Arnav.
"Hello, sir..." Arnav shook hands with Raj.
They looked at Aman who didn't understand anything.
"How are you, man?" Raj asked with a teasing smile.
"You? What are you doing here?"
Aman looked at Arnav and said,
"ASR, he is Khushi's uncle, who was supposed to sell her..."
"It's not true..." Arnav said.
"Not true means?"
"It's all a drama to find out the truth about Nandhini."
"I didn't get you..."
"The other CBI officer is none other than Khushi..."
"Whaaaat? Khushi?"
He nodded.
"CBI officer?" He looked at Khushi who controlled her smile.
Aman could not hold himself from thinking about how innocently she asked the meaning of the word LAWYER. How easily this girl made him stupid! What was there to feel bad? After all, she was a CBI officer! They would enter anywhere and come out if they want!
"I'm sorry, Aman, we didn't cheat you intentionally. It's our duty. We have to do that..." Raj said.
Aman sighed.
"It's ok, sir. Arnav called me. That's why I came here."
"No, it was not Arnav but I called you through Arnav's phone." He gave the phone to Arnav.
"Thanks" he took it from him.
"But why sir?"
"We don't want you to arrive at Nandhini's place. That's why..."
"Where is my father, sir?"
"He is in the way..."
That was when they saw another car coming. Arvind got out of it. He rushed to Arnav and hugged him.
"Chotte, the police rescued me from Nandhini's men."
"Yes, Dad... And Nandhini is dead..."
He looked at Arnav, breaking the hug.
"What? Dead? How? What happened?"
Arnav repeated the same to him.
"I can't believe Nandhini did all this..."
"Mmm..."
Arvind looked at Khushi and then at Arnav.
"She is your daughter-in-law... Khushi..." Arnav said.
Khushi touched his feet.
"Live happily, beta..." he blessed.
"She is not only your daughter-in-law... She is a CBI officer also..." Aman said.
Arvind was surprised.
"CBI officer?"
"She came to trap Nandhini..." Aman said.
"No... She didn't come for Nandhini but for Arnav" Raj said.
Aman and Arvind were again confused.
"She loved Arnav when they were in college..."
Arvind and Aman looked at her stunned. Arnav smiled. His smile assured them that it was true.
Aman could not believe he was used as a pawn in their game... Without his knowledge.
"Khushi, you should report to our office..."
"Yes, uncle..."
"Will you come now or later?"
Khushi looked at Arnav and said,
"I should go. I will be back in the evening..."
Arnav nodded.
Khushi walked with Raj. He started the jeep and left RM.
Arnav stood looking at the jeep.
"Is she really a CBI officer?" Aman asked.
"Mmm... She is..."
"But, how did she tell you that?"
"Nandhini tried to attack me when her father got angry about the video. That was when Khushi transformed into a CBI officer. Do you know how she hit Nandhini's man? It was like I was watching a Hollywood movie... What an action! I was stunned by her swimming skills. She is just Wow..."
"I still can't believe it. You have no idea what she looked like when I met her for the first time." Aman said.
"Did she really love you, Chotte?" Arvind asked.
"Yes, I would have met her the next day if you hadn't fixed my marriage with Nandhini."
"I'm sorry, Chotte, I had made a worse decision if marrying you to Nandhini."
"Her chapter is closed, Dad. Just forget her..."
"But, she got an easy death, ASR. A monster like Bet should have suffered like hell... I don't know how evil people get easy death..." Aman said, wearily.
"Aman is right. How cruel she is! Being a lesbian, she didn't feel bad about marrying you. After marrying you, without any regret, she has been roaming the world with her partner. She is a devil..." Arvind said angrily.
"Leave it, Dad. We don't have to think about her anymore. She is a nightmare in our lives..." Arnav said.
"Thank God, you got rid of her. Or else, I would have died in guilt..." Arvind said.
"Go and get fresh. After that, make a space for your CBI wife in your room." Aman said teasingly.
Arnav smiled.

Khushi reported to the office and resumed her job. Then, she started with Raj in the jeep. The jeep headed to Raj's place. Khushi went inside and sat on a chair crossing her legs. She smirked at Nandhini and Natasha who were tied up with a wooden chair in which they were sitting.
Their mouths were stuffed with clothes and their legs were tied up together tightly.
Durga came there and removed the clothes from Nandhini's mouth.
"So, Nandhini... Is this place comfortable for?" Khushi asked sarcastically.
"Why did you bring me here? Don't forget you should answer your department until our bodies are found..."
"What's the big deal, they will find your bodies soon. For your kind information, we were not there when you tried to escape through the helicopter. So, we are not answerable..." She said casually.
"Are you going to kill us?"
"What do you think? Am I going to let you live?"
"If you want my death why did you save me?"
"You don't deserve an easy death... You have killing numerous people for your benefit. How could I let you die easily? Shouldn't you feel the pain of those people who felt pain?"
Nandhini became horrified.
"You will face consequences..."
"I will face it IF(she stressed) the situation created..."
"What will you do?"
"Nothing... You are going to be sitting in this chair... Slowly, your body becomes numb... The blood circulation will stop... You will feel extreme pain in your body but you can't move it. Slowly, slowly, the function of your body will halt..." Khushi stood up.
"Khushi, wait...I will tell you about my property details. Take them and release us. We will not be in here. No one will get our trace. Let us go... Please..."
Without giving her ear, Khushi walked. She didn't mind arguing with her. She didn't think it was necessary. Nandhini kept on shouting... Khushi didn't look back.
