Baris woke up slowly. The morning light filtered through the luxurious room, casting warm, hopeful shadows. He was pressed securely against Deniz's chest, the smell of clean skin and the faint, lingering scent of rose petals comforting him. He shifted slightly, feeling a pleasant, deep soreness. He realized he was starved, the massive hunger from the previous day having intensified after his exhaustion.
He gently nudged Deniz. "Hey, lazy bones. Wake up, I am starving."
Deniz groaned, tightening his hold on Baris. "Five more minutes, honey."
"No, now! I need food," Baris insisted, pulling himself free and sitting up. He looked down at the empty space where the truffle box had been. The stimulant had worn off completely, leaving him rational, but surprisingly, not angry. "You tricked me with that chocolate."
Deniz sat up immediately, his expression serious, running a hand through his messy hair. "I did. I am sorry, Baris. I did not know how to approach you after five years, and when I saw how much you liked the truffles, I knew it would work fast. I wanted to see your true, uninhibited desire. But you have to know that everything I said, and everything I did, was completely real. I love you."
Baris sighed, a mix of residual annoyance and deep affection washing over him. "I forgive you. But do not you ever do something like that again. I almost lost my mind yesterday." He leaned over and kissed Deniz gently, a promise in the touch. "Now, I am seriously hungry. And you are going to cook me something that is not laced with anything, you hear?"
Deniz smiled widely, relief washing over his face. "Yes, Hubby. Anything you want. I will make a massive breakfast."
They spent the entire morning together, eating a leisurely, proper meal and talking about everything: from their future dates to their rediscovered connection. The night had not just been a physical release. It had solidified a commitment that began years ago in a high school classroom. They were inseparable, often seen together on campus, a vibrant and magnetic couple.
After a few years of dating, Baris and Deniz publicized their relationship, introducing themselves as a couple to their parents and all relatives on both sides of their families. As they had been proving their bonds for years as classmates and besties, their parents came their way and blessed them. Receiving approval and blessings from their families, Baris and Deniz tied the knot and lived happily ever after!
