Khushi was sleeping peacefully. In fact that was the first day she really slept peacefully. Why not? After all she was in her Arnav's place, with full protection.
Arnav didn't take his palm from her cheek. He didn't feel to take it. He had been sitting beside her looking at her flawless face.
He couldn't understand the game of destiny. Shashi Gupta killed his parents and his enmity for Shashi mounted into no limits. But now he was in the urge of saving Shashi Gupta's daughter from none other than Shashi Gupta. What is all this?
All the above, she loves him more than anything no one could describe it by words. In fact, there was no words to describe her love. How divine this girl is? He wonder, how her parents got courage to hurt her after seeing her pitied face. A lonely tear slipped from his eyes.
Arnav wanted to learn everything as much as possible to get firm in business. That's why he went to Mysore because he couldn't take much time to marry Khushi. He have to make it as soon as possible as he couldn't let her be with that barbarians for long.
As Arnav was drowning into Khushi's thought, he didn't realize that someone was looking at him from outside. Yes. It's none other than Ratna. She went numb seeing his teary eyes. It was long ago Arnav cried. Almost he stopped showing his inner turmoil to anyone. But he is crying now. And his palm under Khushi's cheek confirmed something to her.
Ratna suspected when Arnav showed special interest on Khushi's matter. So she was right. She slowly took back steps not to let her son know her presence. She intentionally made sound which brought Arnav out of Khushi's thought. He took his palm from Khushi's cheek slowly without disturbing her. Arnav saw Ratna entering.
Ratna: Chotte... lunch is ready. You can have before Khushi wakes up.
Arnav: No Mom. I will have with her.
Ratna: But she shouldn't have heavy food. How will you eat in front of her then?
Arnav: What did you prepare for her?
Ratna: Dall thadka.
Arnav: I will also eat that.
Ratna: But why?
Arnav: She is here for the first time. Let me eat what she eats.
Ratna: ok. I will bring your lunch here.
Arnav: No mom. I will bring her downstairs.
Ratna: Then I will also eat with her.
Arnav didn't deny. In fact, he too wanted the same as he wanted to give family touch to Khushi which she was longing for. Ratna left the room thoughtfully. Her son was reacting in a new way which she had never seen before. The thing which is burning between these two seems serious.
AR's Godown
Arvind gave a visit to AR's stock Godown which he didn't visited for long time as Arnav took its responsibility. He witnessed workers were working so sincerely even in their absence. Seems like Arnav was keeping everything in control. He appreciated Arnav inwardly. But some set of workers got panicked due to Arvind's sudden visit. Arvind thought it was obvious between workers.
Arvind saw a particular room was being locked. He headed towards the room and asked a worker to open the door.
Worker: Sir, actually I was not allowed to open the room without Arnav sir's permission.
Arvind raised his eye brows stunned.
"Wasn't he the BOSS?"
But this worker was restricting him without fear. He just stopped visiting this place for few months. How did Arnav change everything and everyone in this small time period?
His son's ruling style amazed him. It was not that easy to keep workers in control. But how Arnav won them simply in this small age which he couldn't able to do with lot of experience? He felt so proud of his son. His attention went back to the room. He was so curious to visit the room and see what's there.
Arvind: What will be your BOSS's reaction if he gets to know that you denied his father?
Worker was standing there silently bowing down. He knew very well that Arnav won't like to do it. He will face the consequences rather than disrespecting his father.
Arvind: Do you want me to get Arnav's permission? Let me call him.
He removed his phone from his pocket.
Worker: Sorry sir, I just...
Arvind: You don't have to say sorry. You just did what your BOSS has been assigned for you.
Worker removed the key and opened the room. Arvind's shock was not estimated seeing Gupta's brand soap covers and their soaps were being gathered at the corner. He took a soap and smelled it. He flinched back as it smelled bad. Somehow he understood the matter.
Arvind: What's happening here?
Worker gulped hard.
Arvind: I won't ask Arnav anything regarding. Fine?
Worker: Arnav sir wanted to pull Guptas down. So he changed their soaps with low quality soaps. As expected they started losing deals. As we are next to them in the business world AR got all the deals which Guptas lost.
Arvind shocked hearing his statement and more to his shock, he saw glimpse of passion in that workers eyes when he uttered it which made Arvind scary. It was not hard for him to understand that how hard Arnav should have worked to set everything to this extend. He was confused when Gupta's contract got cancelled. But he never expected Arnav's hand would be behind it.
Arnav's hatred for Shashi Gupta worried him. He thought, Arnav is changing for good seeing him behaving casual. But he was wrong. The fire which Shashi Gupta lit inside him was still inside him bubbling.

After a while Khushi opened her eyes. She smiled at Arnav who was sitting beside her. She touched her forehead feeling wet cloth on it. Arnav should have kept it as per doctor's advice. She got up and hugged him which was unexpected.
Khushi: This is what I want Arnav. I just want to see your face when I woke up every day.
Arnav: Soon, it will come true.
He said caressing her back. Khushi became elated at his stance. She smiled in between tears. Arnav wiped it while nodding NO. Arnav dipped the cloth in the ice water and wiped her face softly which melted Khushi like anything.
Arnav(touching her forehead): Your fever is gone. Have lunch and also another dose of medicine. You will feel completely better.
She nodded ok.
Arnav: Let's go.
Khushi got down from the bed neatening her dress and followed Arnav. She went numb seeing Ratna also waiting for her without having lunch.
Ratna: How are you feeling Khushi?
Khushi: Much better aunty.
Ratna: Good. You can have lunch. Don't worry. This time I won't make you fed-up by giving mush. (she chuckled so did Khushi)You can have dall and potato fry. I didn't add more spice in it.
Khushi started having lunch with Arnav and Ratna. Seeing them also eating dall and potato fry, she got surprised because she saw something more was being kept on the table.
Khushi: why are you guys eating this?
Arnav looked at Ratna. She understood her son's wish and took lead.
Ratna: you are our guest. How can we eat something special while you eating this boring food?
Khushi: It's ok aunty.
Ratna: No beta, you don't know about Chotte. It's not easy to change his mind if he got fixed.
Khushi smiled at him thinking something in her mind and Arnav knew what she is thinking.
Khushi wanted to eat more as it was so tastier. She was about to take another scoop of rice but Arnav stopped her.
Arnav: Enough Khushi. You may throw up if you eat more.
Khushi pouted couldn't stop herself. Ratna felt sad for her.
Ratna: Chotte is saying this for your betterment only beta. Don't worry, I will prepare all your favourite food one day and you can eat as much as you want.
Khushi nodded ok happily and Arnav liked Ratna's idea. They finished eating and headed to the living room. Suddenly Khushi felt giddy. She pressed her head and lost her balance. Ratna made her sit on the coach and sat beside her.
Ratna: Khushi beta, what happen?
Khushi: I feel dizzy.
Ratna: Come on lie down.
She took Khushi on her lap. Khushi looked at Arnav bewildered. This mom and son are same by heart and also by action. Arnav sat in front of them adoring. They will be the best mother and daughter in law in future, he supposed.
Ratna: Chotte, call Khushi's parent and say that Khushi will be here today.
Arnav and Khushi (shocked): What?
Ratna: Didn't you say there is no one at her home? Let me take care of her.
Arnav: They should have come by now. Right Khushi?
Khushi nodded yes. Ratna pouted at them.
Arnav: Don't worry mom. I will bring Khushi here soon.
Khushi's eyes went wide open whereas Ratna became delighted. Khushi saw mehandi being drawn on Ratna's palm. She held Ratna's hand and smiled seeing that.
Ratna: I drew it.
Khushi: Perfect.
Ratna: I would have drawn on your palm if you don't have fever. (pause) haan.... I will draw when Chotte bring you here. Ok?
Khushi nodded ok and Arnav chuckled at his innocent mother.
Ratna waved at Khushi who was leaving RM with Arnav half-heartedly, looking at Ratna, turning her face again and again.
Ratna's eye welled up with tears seeing her so naïve. She felt some unknown connection with Khushi. She was disappointed as she didn't' get chance to ask Khushi about her family. She composed herself thinking that she would do that when Arnav bring her here.
In the car
Khushi: Thank you Arnav.
Arnav: Oh really?
Khushi nodded yes.
Arnav: Don't be formal with me. Ok?
Khushi: I don't want to be. But whatever I have experienced today was something I never dreamt of. I think this is what called heaven, a happy and understanding family.
She said emotionally.
Arnav stopped the car in the side of the road.
Arnav: Soon, you will be a part of that heaven with me...
Khushi: I'm excited for that day.
Arnav nodded yes and started the car again to drop Khushi in the college.

Garima had been thinking about her share market loss deeply. However she thought, she didn't get anything in her mind. At last, a spark fell into her mind. Her face lit instantly. There was a property in out strike of Delhi which Shashi bought many years ago. Garima thought that Shashi should have forgotten about it. Hence she wanted to sale it by getting Shashi's signature without his knowledge.
