Tejasswi stood in terrace and it was such a pretty terrace with a swing and couple of sofa's and miniature lights.
She heard the foot steps.
It was Karan.
She moves to go out.
Karan:you can stay for some more time if you want to. I'll come back later.
She looked at him:We really didn't meet before?
Karan:uh...
Since she looked straight into his eyes. It was difficult to answer.
Tejasswi:ah..I get it. so you are pretending. Guest Neighbour next door.
Karan:I guess..
Tejasswi:why didn't you remember then?or better say acted not knowing me.
Karan: it's even,you didn't acted knowing me as well. So I thought you forgot me.
Tejasswi:huh... Handsome neighbour.how can I forget you?you were my crush then.
Karan:one among your 20000 crushes.
Tejasswi:does it matter now? Crush is crush.
Karan: that irritates me now. Please don't go acting silly with me.
He moves to sofa.
Tejasswi: look at you. You are not different from then.
Karan:but you... There are some changes.
Tejasswi:what?
Karan:Tum moti ho gayi ho.
Tejasswi:ahahaha... Mein moti...
She looks at herself and him and he nods.
She passed him a strong look.
Karan:I was kidding. Don't take it to heart now.
Tejasswi:but tell me.. you didn't ever got angry when those people bad mouthed behind you.
Karan:I don't unnecessarily interrupt, it's them, wasting their precious time. Not me!
She nods:you are mature now!
Karan:I was always...
Tejasswi:if you were bit crook like me you would have killed your betrayer friend by now.
Karan:Ms. Crook what's your record now?
Tejasswi:ek murder karna baaki reh gaya hai!
Karan:kab tak karni hai?
Tejasswi:by the end of this year.
He nods.
She laughs while he didn't.
Tejasswi:hey .. isn't this funny?
Karan: what's funny in that?
She looks on. And with her grave expression he left out a laugh.
Tejasswi:I heard a rumor. You married only for few hours to get divorced.
He stops laughing : who told you this?
Tejasswi:I somehow know.
Karan:it must be Arjun. He might have sounded too pitiful. That you also sympathize.
Tejasswi laughs:hihihi.. I really did!
Karan:enough. Where's your husband? it's been quite a long time I haven't met him. I heard he is a show stopper model now. Congratulate him from my side.
Tejasswi:he is with his wife and now you will probably need an appointment to talk to him. So leave congratulating aside.
Karan:what in world you are speaking? doesn't sound like a Chinese though.
Tejasswi: I told it so clearly I won't repeat it.
Karan:what?
Tejasswi:you need encyclopedia now?
Karan:wait?you guys got separated?
He was shocked.
Tejasswi:Yeah after one year of our marriage.
Karan: what happened?
Tejasswi:it happened that way...
But he ended up laughing.
She looks on: that's rude!
Karan:I learnt it from you just some minutes back. I always thought that there could be any person existing who could tolerate you.
Tejasswi:Yeh zyada ho raha hai. It was better being stranger.
Karan smiles looking at her.
Tejasswi:now that come to think of it... Don't think you stand a chance.
Karan:oh how did you know what I was supposed to ask? I was about to propose you now. I was going down on my knees...
She glared him and walked away from there.
He smiles nodding his head and scrolled through his phone and he actually realised, that he laughed like this after a very long time.
She returned back:oh.. you should laugh some other time.
Karan:mera muh.mein hasu ya nahi tumhe kya.
Tejasswi:listen... I don't want to maintain any relation with you. So forget that we remembered. Let it continue as it is...
Karan laughed: I knew this was coming
Tejasswi:You knew... It was too difficult for you to remember me but you knew this?
Karan:I want to sleep can you just leave?
Tejasswi :go to sleep ... Itna dhokha khane ke baad insan tho marr hi jata. Tum ab tak zinda kaise ho?
Karan:tumhare yeh sawaal puchne tak meine deadline rakha tha....tho marr jau?
She passed him a look:abhi?
Karan:haa..
She literally ran towards the door:mere jaane ke baad marna. I don't want to go in suspect list!
He smiles mutters:she didn't change a cent.
He closes his eyes resting. 'She is single now.'
This sentence appeared on his mind.

Arohi:who is that handsome guy?
Tejasswi passed her a look when she was ogling at Arjun for past few minutes and Arjun was feeling the gaze too but trying to act normal.
Tejasswi:if a guy did this to a girl. He would have got beaten up by now.
Arohi:how could I not look at beautiful creation of God..? Hey, please set him up with me.
Tejasswi passed her a look: he shouldn't suffer more?
Arohi:what?
Tejasswi:you are too much for him.
Arohi:shut up.
While prithvi looks at karan who was setting up the ingredients very happily. He was even humming a song.
Karan looks at him.
Prithvi:you look happy today?
Karan:do you have any problem?
Prithvi shrugs his shoulder.
And guides the new chef sheezan who joined the same day.
Sheezan:boss looks chill.
Prithvi:I too saw it today itself?!

karan walked upstairs to the rooftop but stops seeing the door of the second floor still open.
And the time was 12:30 in the midnight.
He wasn't sure to go in.
So he knocked on the door.
"Tejasswi" he called out.
He slowly moved in.
But he couldn't find her.
He slowly pushed the room door. She wasn't there too..
He was about to move. But stops looking at the balcony door in the room.
He moved towards the door only to be freeze for a second and there she was standing on the other side of the balcony..
He literally got scared but made sure to not scream or anything but just went and held her.
She composed but lost balance but He made sure to hold her tight.
He was passing her a strong look.
While she was making excuses: I wasn't actually trying to do something unwanted. I was adventurous... You know I can climb the the wall. So even if I jumped. It's still second floor. It wouldn't possibly kill me.
He moved out and pulled a drawer and grabbed keys.
He walked inside the room and locked the door.
Tejasswi: don't lock. It's so childish. I am renting this. You can't lock the balcony now for such a small issue.
Karan:I am renting you this then I will decide what part I will rent.
Tejasswi:this is insane.
Karan:now go to sleep.
Tejasswi: I won't be sleeping because of you. all thanks to you.
He moved out: and lock the door.
She locks the door without any more arguments.
While he stood outside and looks at the keys in his hands.
She looked too different the moment he held her. It was like she was not herself. if he was late, don't know what might have happened. His heart raced out of fear!
Coincidentally He happened to watch Adhik's interview with his second wife,Sona. All so lovely dovey. He looked so into her. Then why did he marry tejasswi?
He moved watching other interviews of Adhik.
"Today whatever I am, it's all because of my wife Sona. I can't imagine my life without her. Today when I was coming out... I couldn't get her glimpse. And I had a bad feeling. And my car had a small accident but thanks to all of your well wishes. I was okay. My driver sustained little injuries but he is okay too. Sona had taken care of everything. Love you Sona."
Karan left out a breath and kept his phone away.
