shot 46: Dad's Problem!
Let's begin.....
Few days passed...
Ragini: I didn't tell still now...
Sanskar:listen Ragini i am not forcing you but what i am telling is later if your dad gets to know by someone else then how would he feel..?
Ragini gets sad and bends her head:i tried.. i tried many times to say but I couldn't at the right time.
After some seconds she tries to look for him and realises, she was hallucinating here.
And she lightly hits her head.
Ragini:mein kya karoon? If SR was in my place what he would do?he thinks so perfectly with the situations and i?just I couldn't just say about him.it's like i am cheating on 2 most important persons of my life.
She looks near the window being shocked.
She imagines Sanskar standing near the window. In the full sleeve white tee and a black trousers. He smiles at her leaning towards the windown folding his arms
Ragini closes her eyes: what's happening with me?
Sanskar smiles:you wanted to think like me right. So let me help you?
Ragini rubs her eyes.
Sanskar: don't rub the eyes now. Go open the door!
Ragini nods and moves towards the door.
Sanskar:ah ah..wait!
She turns to him:smile!
She smiles being nervously.
Sanskar:calm down.you didn't commit any mistake.you are going to tell him an important decision of your life. And he deserves to know it because it's his right!
Ragini nods and smiles.
She moves...
While She moves out and finds Shekhar,karthik and naira were playing carrom.while pappu and swarna brings the juice.
Ragini gets nervous again and Sanskar near her ear:trust me everything would be fine.tell him genuinely from start to end.
She turns to him and he smiles and blinks his eyes at her.
Shekhar sees her: Ragini,what are you looking at?
Ragini :nothing papa..
Shekhar:then come here and join us.
Ragini moves and sits.
Sanskar stood straight to her that was behind Shekhar.
He smiles and encourages her to speak.
Ragini:papa...
All looks at her.
Shekhar,whose concentration were on the queen gets distracted.and he couldn't get it.
Shekhar:oh ho beta..i was just going to take the queen!
Ragini:i want to tell you something!
All looks at her,including pappu because he too know about Ragini's love.and they understood what she want to speak and they know how she was trying to speak it out to him.
Ragini bends her head being nervous.she could feel Sanskar standing behind her dad.
She looks at him.
And shekhar turns and sees no one.
Shekhar: what happened? And what you are seeing....
Ragini:Papa I love .....
Shekhar interrupts:I love you too baccha.
Karthik face-palms.
Swara gets annoyed.with much difficulty Ragini said and he had something else on his mind.
Shekhar: it's not necessary that you should tell..i know!
Naira:papa..may be she was trying to say something else..
Shekhar: I don't think..
Ragini interrupts:Papa..i love a guy named Sanskar!
Shekhar looks at her.
Ragini:he was my senior in the college and now he is the Managing director or gaming technology.
Shekhar doesn't reply anything.
Ragini:earlier it was all...i mean..
She looks at Sanskar.
Ragini:without telling you i was feeling incomplete...
Some seconds passed.shekhar didn't give any response.
Ragini:why are you not saying anything papa?
Karthik:papa..Sanskar is really a nice.ask with mom.we have met...
Swarna closes her eyes.naira glares him.as they decided of not letting him know about they have met Sanskar already.
Shekhar looks at him.
He then looks at her:so why are you asking me?go and marry!
He stood.
Ragini:papa...
Shekhar:oh yes,you feel i am important at least now.you want me to do your kanyadhaan..?you have your mother and brother right..
He smiles:okay...do one thing once the date is fixed.need not to tell me early because i am the least important here right.but tell me a night before the wedding..mera kya hai aajaunga tell the venue and time.
Tears formed in his eyes.and moves towards the door but turns:someone said right..betiyaan parayi hoti hai.but I didn't knew my daughter too will...
Ragini cries:papa..
He goes and locks himself inside the room.
Swarna consoles her: it's okay Ragini.he would understand you.now he is angry.i will talk to him.
Karthik:Yes..you know right he is bit emotional.he will calm down soon don't worry.
Naira side hugs her: don't stress it out!
After sometime...
Sanskar on the other side who was working at his home looks at his phone where Ragini was calling.
He picks the call:yes Ragini!
She didn't reply anything.
Sanskar:what happened?are you sad?
Ragini:i told dad about us Sanskar!
Sanskar closes the laptop and keeps it aside,as he picturized in his mind earlier.may be same thing happened!
Ragini:Sanskar, he is hurt because of me.i hurt him.i never saw him this hurt I don't know what i should do?
She cries.
Shekhar was standing near the door.he heard her and he just stood there clutching the handle!
Ragini:i am feeling like a worst daughter today what should i do?
Sanskar:yeh tum mujhe kyun bata rahi ho?
Ragini gets hurt.that he would pacify her and give her some solution...
Ragini:Sanskar!!
Sanskar:ah..jaise ki meine kaha why are you telling this to me?whatever you were saying, it's in between you and your dad. Rather explaining it to me. I think you will find the solution if you say this to your dad!
Ragini looks on.
Shekhar who was standing out.he can't listen anything.he turns being hurt.
swarna and pappu were standing there.
Shekhar:now she is sharing her pain with other person then me.earlier she was not like this.
Swarna in a calm tone: Shekhar..why are you making the things complicated?she wanted to tell you long but then i stopped her,nd from the time she came she was constantly trying to tell you...
Shekhar:is it that she was feeling difficult with that father of whom she used to share everything?
Pappu:and i think everyone has their own choice in their lives and being their parents you should support her!
Shekhar:did i say that I won't support her but my daughter found i am not deserving for this.
He moves from there.
Sanskar:your dad knows you more than anyone.you only say he is possessive about you and i think unka gussa lazmi hai.so i think you should try to be yourself more to him.don't hesitate,tell him as how you say every other thing to him.
Ragini:you are right!
Next day early morning...
Shekhar couldn't have a wink of sleep.he was been sitting in the balcony.
He was sitting on the chair when pappu comes with coffee.
Shekhar looks at him:how you know i am here?
Pappu:bhabhi told me between i am with you when you were small so i know when and how you will be...
Shekhar takes the coffee from him.
Pappu:bura na maano tho ek baat poochu?
He sits on the floor wiping his sweat from the towel.
Shekhar:ask!
Pappu:you also had a love marriage then what is your problem?
Shekhar: that's long back!
Pappu:so?
Shekhar:so what?
Pappu:so you also didn't tell kaka kaki!
Shekhar being nervous:so?
Pappu:so how it is different for you and Ragini bitiya?and rule is different for you and different for Ragini?
Shekhar being scared of him: don't show your eyes and scare me away!
Pappu:with age you are becoming brainless.
Shekhar:she told it to everyone except me.
Pappu:so you also didn't tell your dad.
Shekhar: don't bring me..
Pappu interrupts:why shouldn't i?i will bring....
Shekhar:but my father was rough with me you know about how he was.and in case of Ragini,i was like her best friend but...
Pappu:you know what?sometimes rough parent can also be handled.not the nuthead parent!!
Shekhar:yeah...what??
Pappu:then what?if she had told early..what you would have done..with the fear of losing her you will get her here back.and make her study here.and she feared that...
Shekhar:so?

Pappu:i understood your problem.that you are jealous that your daughter is giving more importance to some other person then you!
Shekhar looks at him and then turns:i am not jealous!
Pappu:your face is saying that you are burning in jealousy!
Shekhar:no i am not...
Pappu laughs:Aww...my chotu sa shekhu!.
Shekhar:stop it pappu or else!
Pappu glares him:or else what?should i open up the past????
Shekhar bends his head:kis janam ka badla le raha hai tu..
Pappu:isi janam ka..now go and talk to Ragini!!
Shekhar:even if you tell my past also i won't talk.because even after i got angry she didn't thought of talking to me.
Pappu:promise you will not talk right..
Shekhar gave him a look.
While pappu laughs.
Later.
Everyone were sitting in the dining..
Ragini looks at shekhar and shekhar didn't even look at her once..
Karthik was noticing this:papa.. it's enough now!
Shekhar stops eating:now you don't want me to eat?
Karthik:papa.. don't cross the answers you know what i am talking about..
Shekhar takes the phone:oh god this office people..i am leaving bye..
He leaves from there.
Karthik huffs:god,if you made our dad strict then also okay,if you made him orthodox then was also okay.we could at least could do something but he is stubborn and a drama king.what to do with him?
Naira hits him lightly:you are wrong.he is emotionally attached.
Pappu:no karthik is right he is drama king!
While Ragini gets sad that her dad doesn't even wants to see her..
Later
Shekhar was returning in his car when he notices the kulfi.he smiles:let me get it for Ragini..she would be so happy!
But stops:no why should i take it for her..?let that guy only get anything for her.i won't take.
But still he buys:this one I'm taking for kairav..only for him.
He gets annoyed with himself that for who he is taking this..
He goes to home...
Ragini was sitting near the same small swimming pool.putting her legs in it.
It was suffocating for her when he dad doesn't love her.
Ragini smiles seeing Shekhar's car and remembers her childhood days how she ran to open the door because each day he got something for her and first she used to look at his hand.
And shekhar gets down the car and she sees the packets in his hands and smiles.
He turns to her.but she quickly faces other side.
Shekhar:she even didn't came to me now.
Ragini: I don't want to upset you more papa!
Time passed..
She was sitting there.
She didn't enter.
Shekhar sees the dinning everyone were there except Ragini.
Shekhar directly couldn't ask where is she!
And he couldn't stay without asking too..
But still controlled himself.he couldn't eat the food properly.he playing with spoon glass.drinking water but couldn't eat a morsel!
Everyone just controls their laughter seeing his struggles!
Shekhar himself:okay let me ask what will happen?
Shekhar clears his throat:why this chair is empty!
And all bursts into laughter.
He looks at them:very funny.i just asked as that chairs cushion is something disturbing.
Swarna:what is disturbing?
Shekhar: it's.. it's...i feel like some ghost is sitting in it.
And again all laughs.
Kairav:dada ji..why don't you directly ask where is bua?
Shekhar:i was not asking about her..
All were still laughing.
Shekhar bit loudly:i was not asking about her!
But they laughs loudly.
And he angrily goes to his room.
Shekhar:i was seriously not asking about her.but that empty chair gave me the vibes of ghost.i am so scared of ghosts.
He tried to assure himself!
He looks at his parents photo frame with garland.he felt even they are laughing inside the frame at his lame reason.
He moves and sees Ragini still sitting there.he got worried for her!
He wanted to go to her but still didn't want to go.
He moves and waters on the plants humming the song.
Ragini sees him.shw controls her smile.
Karthik drags swarna and shows.
Pappu:hey Ram..what i am seeing?you are watering the plants?from which side sunrise today?
Shekhar:shut up let me concentrate on my work!
Pappu:but who waters on 10 in the night?
Shekhar:me..you just go do your work!
Pappu:why should i go?i have completed all the work and who want to miss the drama of drama king!
Shekhar glares him while he glares him in return.
After sometime.he goes and sits on the swing near by.
Ragini stood and moves to him.
Shekhar turns his face.
While Ragini picks her phone.
And shekhar gets disappointed.he thought she would talk to him so that he would talk to her.he didn't wanted all to laugh at him.but she just took her phone.
Shekhar himself:may be to call that guy..huh!
He got annoyed!
Ragini:Papa..
Shekhar turns to her and was kneeling in front of him and holds his hand:i am sorry..papa.
She chokes and cries: I can't stay without talking to you.please don't be angry on me.please!!!
And he melts.
Shekhar:da..ba dd..Rr..Ra..
Words were coming out like this.he don't know what to do?
If he talks then he have to agree for her wish to marry that random guy.who knows,what type of gunda he is.how dare he trap his daughter.
If he doesn't talk then he would die..
What type of problem is this? That's Dad's problem!!
Ragini:i can do anything for you papa.if you are against it then i will..
She controls her cry.shekhar looks at her.
He felt like his dead father was kicking him saying "see your daughter and see yourself duffer"
Ragini:i will forget him paa..
She failed in her love to prove the love of being a daughter.she failed in front of sanskar because she can't be like him...
If she chose one side,loss would be her's only!!
Shekhar left out a breath:wait...did i ever say no to you anytime?even if i said you fought for it.and what happened today?
Ragini looks at him.
While all smiles.
Shekhar:your problem is you accept the fail very easily.yeah,i am angry and i am still angry and i didn't accept your love too...but I don't want my daughter to fail.
Ragini smiles through tears.
Shekhar smiles a bit:and I don't want to put you in such condition that you have to weak yourself from one side... So ...
All looks at him thinking he would ask to meet Sanskar.
Shekhar:i got the kulfi for you.come let's go and have it.
Ragini smiles.
He drags her in.
While everyone face-palms.including kairav.they laughs seeing him.
He gives the kulfi for Ragini.
And Ragini ets it.
Shekhar himself:i am still first in her priorities and me got 10 points and that guy 0.
He smiles victoriously!
