41 Culprit
Part 41 Culprit
The trio started running towards the person who was standing with a fire stick. They didn't know who the man is but we do. He is none other than Hitesh who Akash hired to fire the house. Hithesh could not see the trio because they were in dark. And the burning sound of the house didn't let him hear their footsteps also. More than that, he didn't expect he could be watched by the trio who he wanted to burn.
Hithesh got horror-struck when he saw them galloping towards him. He tried to run from there but he was too late. Before he made up himself, the trio pounced on him. A terrible fight held between them. Hithesh had put all the effort to get himself away but no use. Even though he was strong he couldn't do anything against the trio. They hit him black and blue. At one point, Hithesh lost all his energy and fell down all exhausted.
Shyam sat on his chest, clutching his round-neck t-shirt.
"Who are you? What is your name? Why did you burn our house? Why did you try to kill us?" Shyam asked him while tightening his grip on his neck.
Hithesh coughed.
"Tell me... or else I will kill you right away and put your body in the fire. Then no one knows what happened to you. Why do you want us to die?" Shyam questioned him wrathfully.
"I don't want you to die but someone," Hithesh said while struggling in Shyam's clutch.
"Who the hell is he?"
"Ohh... he will kill me if I say."
"I will kill you if you don't say." Shyam strangled his neck.
"Akash...." Hithesh shouted.
They sighed. They were not shocked because they were expecting something from Akash's side. Is he a good man to be silent or what? No... he is a dangerous person and Arnav knew that from the last birth.
"Why he wants us to die?" Shyam asked.
"The whole village knows the problem between the two. (he pointed at Arnav.) He lost all the properties to him. To get all the properties back, he wants to kill you. Until you are alive, he can't get it back." He said in between the hard breath.
"Aman, call Daniel..." Arnav told.
Aman nodded yes and removed his mobile. He called Daniel. He attended the call in the last ring as he was in deep sleep.
"Hello...who is this?" He asked in a sleepy voice.
"Daniel, Sir... Aman is here."
Daniel sat on the bed, sensing something wrong, hearing Aman's gasping voice as it was a mid-night.
"What happened, Aman?" He asked frowning.
"Sir, someone burnt our house..." Aman said panting.
"Whaaaat? Burnt? Are you guys safe?"
"Yes, sir..."
"Do you know who did that?" He asked furiously.
"Yes, sir... we caught him."
"That's it... live it on me... I will be there in a few minutes." He jumped from the bed in a jiffy and came out of the room. He started the bike and rode it fast.
Aman disconnected the call.
"He is coming," Aman said to Arnav and he nodded ok.
"Call NK," Arnav said.
Aman called NK but he didn't pick it up.
"Not answering ..." Aman said showing his mobile.
"He must be sleeping. Try again. He has to come here. After all, he the house owner." he said sadly.
Aman nodded yes and called him again. This time, NK attended it. Switching on the light, he looked at the mobile. He couldn't understand why Aman is calling him at this time.
"Aman... is everything all right?" He asked.
"In fact, NO... please come here..." he said hesitatingly.
"Anything serious?" He panicked.
"Very serious... someone called Hithesh burnt your house..." Aman broke the egg.
NK's shock was not estimated.
"What happened to you guys?"
"We are safe. You please come fast."
He got down from the bed and strode out while talking on the phone.
NK reached the place at the same time when Daniel reached.
"Who is he?" Daniel asked.
"Akash had hired him," Arnav said.
NK gave Hithesh a few punches furiously.
"Leave him... I will take care of him." Daniel said.
"Wait, Daniel... we have to hand him to the president first. If he doesn't take action against Akash then we will hand the case to you." NK said.
"Is it necessary to go to the president when we have a criminal and also the eyewitnesses?" Daniel asked furiously.
"Yes, Daniel... this is the procedure... we have to follow it. Until the marriage finishes, we shouldn't go against the village rules." NK said.
"Ok, fine. If the president tried to cover it up, I won't be quiet." Daniel said.
"Even we won't..." Arnav said.
Daniel lifted Hithesh by his t-shirt. They took him to the president's house.
That's when Arnav remembered something... THE YOUNG MAN... He looked at the place where he was. He saw a slight shadow there.
"Guys, you go... I will be back shortly." Arnav said while walking towards the direction.
Aman and Shyam understood why he is going there but Daniel and NK.
"Where is he going?" NK asked.
"To meet the person who saved us," Aman said smirking.
NK raised his eyebrows,
"Ohh really?"
"Yeah... if he had not come at the right time, we would have been gone ashes..." Said Shyam.
Hithesh looked at the direction frowning. Who helped them? Are they having a supporting hand in this village? Who it could be? Stupid Akash... unaware of it, he trapped him into the critical problem. Hithesh cursed Akash for making him a scapegoat. No matter, how much he squeezed his main he didn't get anything in his pea-sized brain.
Arnav came to the place with uncertainty whether the young man will be there or not. But the young man didn't disappoint him. He was there only.
"Thank you, Mahi..." Arnav said.
The young man smiled.
"Nowadays you have forgotten me completely it seems?" The young man asked him with the same smile.
"No Mahi... how could I forget you?"
"Maybe you didn't forget but you can't deny if I say you are not even thinking of me..." he smirked.
Arnav got stuck. The young man was not wrong. He didn't meet the young man after he transformed into Ankit.
"You did not come to the temple to meet me at least once..."
"Actually... I was..."
"I know... you are excited about your marriage... after all, you are waiting for this moment for births..."
"I'm sorry Mahi... It was not intentional."
"Be careful... you are almost nearing the climax of your story. This is the time you have to act faster and wiser."
Arnav nodded yes.
"You should keep your eyes all around you even though you are with Kushboo in the mustered field..." he smirked.
Arnav was dumbfounded. He remembered the sound he and Khushi heard in the field that day morning.
"Was that you?"
Mahi nodded yes.
"Don't lose your control, Arjun. It's obvious...she is your soul mate... when you are with her, it's obvious to lose control but don't. You should not be revealed until your marriage. It will ruin everything. I disturbed you in the morning because the president was about to come there at that time."
Arnav was horrified.
"He crossed the place with his wife to visit his field. Beardless you would have got caught if I didn't distract you." the young man said seriously.
Arnav understood that Mahi saved them from the dangerous situation.
"Thank you Mahi, I don't know what would have happened if you had not saved us." Arnav thanked him wholeheartedly.
"That's ok... it happens in love... " He smiled.
"We are going to hand Hithesh to the president," Arnav said.
"Yeah...That's what you have to do. And more than that, there was something you have to know."
"What's that?"
"You will get to know that through Khushboo. She will tell you. Take Nand Kishore and Daniel's help to finish it."
"Finish what?" Arnav questioned.
"Khushboo will say. She needs your help in that. And she has the solution too. "
"When she has the solution then why she wants my help to finish it?"
"Because she can't do it alone."
"Oh ok..." Arnav said thinking deep.
"Arjun, Khushboo is devastated... she needs your shoulder. Make her believe in the relationship."
"What happened Mahi?" Arnav asked nervously.
"You should know that only thorough her... it was destined."
Arnav sighed.
"Go... you are getting late. Your friends are waiting for you."
"They would have handed him to the president, as of now," Arnav said confidently.
"No... until you go, they won't. Go..." This time the young man's voice sounded confident.
"Bye Mahi..."
The young man nodded yes. Arnav started walking. As the young man said, his friends were waiting for him at the street entrance.
"Why are you guys waiting for me?" Arnav asked.
"What if the president asks about you? What could we say?" Shyam asked.
Arnav nodded yes and they headed to the president's house.
The president's sleep got disturbed by the knock on the door. He woke up from sleep.
"These days, People don't let me sleep peacefully..." He opened the door murmuring.
He got stuck, seeing the same set of people, standing in front of his house that disturbed his sleep the previous time also.
"What happened now?" He asked Arnav.
Daniel pushed Hithesh towards him who was hiding behind Shyam.
"Hithesh... what happened to you? Why are you bleeding?" He asked shockingly.
"He burnt our house by the order of Akash," Arnav said.
The president became shocked. He couldn't believe Akash is the culprit. He clutched Hithesh's T-shirt and shouted.
"What he said is true?"
Hithesh gulped.
"We caught him red handed with a fire stick," Shyam said.
The president sighed inwardly, seeing Daniel with them. Why the hell these guys always go with the inspector?
"Are you guys alright?" The president asked.
"Thank God, they alright." Said Daniel.
"But... how do you guys save yourselves?"
"We left the house before he fired," Aman said.
"Do you know that he is going to fire your house?" the president asked awfully.
They nodded No.
"Then how did you save yourselves?"
"Someone got us out of the house."
"Who is that?"
"Sorry... we can't say that." Arnav said.
The president stood thunder-stuck.
"I will consider the person as eye witness if you say who he is."
"We are the eyewitnesses," Arnav said.
"I don't care whether you take the case or not... I'm taking this case and will bring a police station to this village." Daniel warned.
"No no... I don't mean it. I just asked who the person is..." The president said hurriedly.
"Nand Kishore, take our people with you and bring Akash here." The president said.
"I will also go with him," Daniel said.
The president nodded ok. NK, Daniel and two more villagers started to Bolenath Village to bring Akash.

Hurting Truth
Akash was not sleeping. How could he sleep when he gave a very sensitive task to someone? He was rotating on the bed in nervousness. He doesn't know whether Hithesh had done the job or not.
Suddenly, somethingalerted him as he heard a bike sound. He looked out through the window and sawNK and Daniel coming with the villagers. He became horrified as he guessed thereal issue. He slowly came out and looked at NK's father who was in deep sleep.
