"Chris & Kate" (from "Contraband")
~Getting discharged~
(No one's POV)
The next day the doctor came into the room.
"Please doctor, can I leave today"? She asked.
"Yes, you may. But, I still want you to take it easy", the doctor said.
She sighed and nodded in agreement.
She signed some papers and Chris and she walked hand in hand out of the hospital room.
Chris looked at her and said, "You sure you are okay to leave here"?
She looked at him and said, "Yes. I just want to go home and get out of here".
Chris looked at her. He was very concerned about her being ready to get out of the hospital, it had only been a couple of days, but he didn't want to start something by arguing with her. He just hoped that she would do what the doctor advised her to do, and she would take it easy, at least for a little while.
They both walked, still holding hands, out of the hospital front door and to their car.
However, they were not prepared of who they saw waiting for them. But, it was someone that neither one of them wanted to see.
