Part 34 Ploy

Khushi laughed at Garima.

"Khushi, what if your plan backfires? What if Arnav's Mami trusts them?"

"Amma, I'm damn sure that Mami will not trust them. Even though she trusts them, Arnavji will take care of it."

Garima sighed.

"I'm scared..."

"Don't worry... be happy... everything will be all right..." Khushi went to her room smiling.

Garima was like the climax of a thriller movie.

The next morning

Shashi and Garima were making arrangements for Shagun busily. Whereas Khushi was getting ready.

"Garima, go and call Vidya and Veena for the Shagun..." Shashi said.

"Are they necessary?"

"They are our family. We can't avoid them. What will I answer if Rishi questions me? He left them here; it's because we are here."

"But they are jealous. They will do anything to stop Khushi's marriage."

"We will take care of them. When Arnav is firm in his decision, why should we bother?"

Garima nodded and went to their portion. As she expected, they were not there. She guessed they would have gone to the temple to meet Arnav's Mami. She came back and said,

"They are not at home."

"Where did they go?" Shashi asked.

"How do I know? They never informed me about where they were going..."

Shashi sighed.

In the temple

Vidya and Veena were waiting for Raizadas. They saw two cars heading to the temple.

"I think they are coming..." Vidya said.

"O too think the same..." Veena said.

They went to the Sherine and stood next to each other.

They saw Raizadas coming with a garland for Devi Maiya. Manorama gave it to the pandit. Taking it from her, he went inside and put it on Devi Maiya's neck. Then started the pooja.

"This Devi Maiya is the one who could save them..." Vidya said.

"You are right, Amma. What a reputed family it is! I don't know how they liked Khushi..."

Manorama and Nani spared a glance.

"Without knowing about her, they fixed the marriage with their Arnav Singh Raizada..." Veena said, feeling sad.

"I saw that guy. He looked so good. Don't know how he fell into her trap. Being gentle is always a curse. He trusted her acting."

"What will they do if they get to know the truth?"

"I too don't know. But I so want them to know about Khushi."

"But how do they know? We can't tell them the truth because we are her relatives. If she learns what we do, she will apply black magic on us. Don't we know she is an expert in black magic?"

"Haan, how can I forget how you vomited once because of her black magic?" Vidya sighed.

"Amma, I don't care about myself. I want to save Raizadas. I can't let a great family get demolished. I'm going to meet them in person because it's not too late. Now, we also have a chance..."

"Hey Devi Maiya... show mercy on Raizadas. Save them from the girl who has bad intentions. She doesn't deserve the Raizada family. They should live with respect. It will not happen if she entered the family as their daughter-in-law..."

They saw the pandit coming. So, they stood straight. The Pandit gave all of them prasad.

"What a surprise, you guys are here?" the Pandit asked.

"I feel not well... that's why we came to the temple to worship God..."

"If you don't feel good, you could have worshipped God from your home itself..." the Pandit asked.

"Of course. We could have... but would we get the peace of mind that the temple gives us?" Vidya asked.

The Pandit nodded.

"Why doesn't Khushi come to the temple these days?" he inquired.

"She got a job and became busy. That's why she is unable to come to the temple, we suppose..."

"Oh..."

The Pandit looked at Raizadas.

"I have never seen you in this area. Where are you from?" he asked.

"We came to give Shagun to our going to be daughter-in-law..."

"I see... who is the bride?"

"Khushi... Khushi Gupta..."

The Pandit smiled, whereas Vidya and Veena looked at them in shock as if they didn't know that. Manorama looked at them, and they averted their eyes somewhere.

"Khushi? She is a nice girl. You can't find such a good girl in the whole of Delhi..." The Pandit gave her a conduct certificate, making the mother and the daughter fume.

Raizadas looked at Vidya and Veena, who were suffocating.

"Is it? Is Khushi a good girl?" Nani asked.

"Why doubt? You can ask anyone in Laxmi Nagar about Khushi beta. She is a gem of a person..." the Pandit said.

That was when a family came there. The Pandit went inside to do pooja for them.

"See, this is how she manipulated everyone through back magic," Vidya murmured a little louder, Raizadas to hear.

"What you said about Khushi is true?" Manorama asked.

"Why would we lie? We just said the truth. If you don't trust us, that's fine. It's your wish to trust us." Veena said.

"I didn't expect she would be so cheap..." Manorama said.

"Yes, I can't believe people like her exist..."

"Thank God, we learnt about her before marriage itself..." Payal said.

"Yes, we should war, Bhai, before it slips," Akash said.

Manorama gestured all of them to leave. They headed out of the temple.

Vidya and Veena looked at each other with a winning smile. They shared a hi-fi.

"Finally, we have done something useful..." Vidya laughed.

"I will see what she will do, from here on," Veena said furiously.

"How proud they were about Raizadas... more than that, Arnav covered all the area people by providing Five Star Hotel food. Everyone danced, keeping him on their head. Let's see what all of them will do..."

"Let's go and see what will happen in GH."

"Yes, I want to see them bowing down in front of Raizadas."

Veena started her bike, and they returned to GH. They saw Raizadas getting out of the car and going inside the house.

They were also entered with a smug face.

Shashi greeted them, smiling.

"Welcome all of you..."

Manorama looked at Vidya and Veena, who followed them.

"We want to know something important," Manorama said, rigidly.

"Tell me, Manoramaji, what do you want to know?" Garima asked.

"Does Khushi know black magic?" she asked.

Garima looked at Vidya and Veena, who looked as if they didn't hear that.

"Tell me, Garimaji... does she know black Magic?"

Garima nodded no.

"She doesn't know..."

"Does she know someone who is an expert in black magic?"

"Not at all... she is a small girl. How does she know such things?"

Khushi, who heard that from her room, came out.

"We heard Khushi is an expert in that."

"Who told you cheap about my daughter?" Shashi sneered.

"Don't get hyper, Guptaji. In fact, it must be we who should get hyper..."

"What do you mean?"

"Then what? You have no idea how happy we were knowing that Khushi knows black magic. But you disappointed us..."

"whaaat?" Came from Vidya and Veena.

"Yes, we thought we can protect ourselves from our enemies... but it doesn't seem happen..."

Vidya and Veena looked at them like, they were aliens.

Khushi controlled her smile.

"What do you think, Vidyaji? Do you think you can manipulate us with any kind of lie?"

"We didn't lie..." she said hurriedly.

"It is... we know Khushi. She is not such a girl. She won't do cheap things." Manorama said.

"Didn't you do black magic?" Veen asked.

"No... I never applied black magic on you." Khushi said firmly.

"She is lying..."

"She doesn't lie..." Garima said.

"Because of her, I had loose motion..." Veena said.

"It's because she mixed loose motion medicine in the chocolate you had. Then only you returned her bag, thinking that, she applied black magic on her..." Arnav said who was standing at the entrance, making Vidya and Veena stuck.
