Really? Bakit ba ako dito matutulog?
It's not the first time I'll be sleeping over here, but this time I'm completely sane—hindi ako lasing!
My heart was pounding hard.
The lights were dim, the TV volume low. On one side of the room, white curtains framed a sliding door that opened to the balcony, where the glow of establishments below could be seen.
I stood and walked slowly toward the bookshelf near the balcony.
I ran my fingers along the spines of engineering and architectural books, then I picked one up and scanned its pages.
Rai stepped out, still wet. His upper body was bare, only boxers covering him, and a white towel draped over his shoulders. His hair dripped water onto his chest.
Our eyes met. I quickly looked away, clearing my throat, cheeks burning as I tried to calm my racing heart.
"What are you doing?" he whispered.
I swallowed, feeling the heat of his body behind me.
"Uh... nagbabasa lang." I chuckled nervously, holding up the book I was pretending to read.
"You've got a special talent, huh?" he whispered.
"H-Huh?" I stammered, glancing at him in confusion.
He chuckled, took the book, and flipped it.
"Baligtad ang libro, Serafine," he teased.
Napapikit ako sa kahihiyan. He brushed my hair aside, chuckling sexily as he hugged me from behind, his face on my neck as he peppered small kisses.
"I heard from Engineer Magkaya that your class needs to read that book," he said.
"Oo, pero hindi ko nabibili."
"Take my copy then. I don't really need it."
I really need that book.
"Gano'n ba?" I smiled at the book, then at him. "Thank you, Rai."
"That's your diagnostic exam," he said.
I nodded, laughing softly. My score wasn't high, but I passed the test—barely.
"Kinakalawang na 'ata ako," I joked as I carried the paper back to the bed. "Ang tagal na kasi mula no'ng huling beses akong pumasok, kaya iyan..."
He sat beside me, watching as I studied it.
"Which part did you find hard?" tanong niya.
My eyes flicked to his boxers, catching sight of his bulge.
"Serafine!" He pushed my forehead back, making me burst out laughing.
He glared at me sharply, and I pouted, lowering my gaze again.
"Nagtatanong ka kasi kung saan 'yong hard kaya—"
"I was talking about the test, Sera!" he groaned.
His eyes were sharp, pero bakas ang aliw at lambing doon.
"Why? Pati rin naman 'yong susi ng tagumpay... hard," I teased.
He pushed a pillow on my face, kaya plumakda ako sa kama.
"Vioxx!" I groaned.
He laughed. I sat, grabbed the pillow, and threw it back but he avoided it easily.
"Isa!" I shouted, grabbing another pillow and throwing it.
"Ha! Weak!" He laughed.
I sat up, glaring at him.
"You jerk!" I yelled, chasing him as he cursed under his breath.
We ran around his room. I tried to catch him, but I kept failing because his longer strides always kept him just out of reach.
"Yari ka sa 'kin!" sigaw ko.
Tumakbo siya kaya sinipa ko ang upuan. Nagmura siya nang sumabit ang paa ro'n at napahagalpak ako nang mahulog siya.
I finally caught him, pinching his waist and tugging his hair.
"Fuck! Ouch, baby!" he exclaimed.
"Tinamaan 'yong ilong ko, gungong ka!" reklamo ko.
He laughed, shouting as I teased him, until suddenly he spun around to face me.
I froze as he grabbed my waist, pulling me close.
My heart quickened. I swallowed at the way his eyes looked at me.
He licked his lower lip sensually, smirking. "Cat got your tongue, baby girl?" he asked huskily.
I groaned, lifting one hand to tap his forehead before raising the other to lightly smack it.
"Fuck!" he shouted, stepping back.
I laughed.
He crossed his arms like a sulking child, glaring at me. "I quit being your sugar daddy, Serafine!" he hissed.
My lip twitched. "Ano 'yan? Trabaho? Wala kang choice. Hindi ako papayag," I answered with a grin.
His arms are crossed, sulking.
Nailing ako at mas lumapit.
"I won't fire you, daddy," I said, pouting playfully.
He rolled his eyes, sulky and adorable.
He stared at me, clearly irritated, especially when I grabbed the towel from the bed and straddled him.
He froze when our eyes met. Kumindat ako. Mas namula tuloy lalo at nag-iwas ng tingin. I giggled, brushing his jaw with my fingers.
"Sus... Wawa naman ang baby na 'yan," I cooed, and his lips twitched.
I adjusted my position to face him and lifted the towel on his shoulder, gently drying his hair.
"Daddy ko," I called softly.
"May daddy-daddy ka pang nalalaman, tatawagin mo rin naman akong baby," he muttered.
"O, eh 'di, baby muna kita ngayon." I smiled with amusement.
This man is really adorable.
I caressed his forehead before pressing a gentle kiss to it. Because of what I just did, he stiffened, encouraging me more.
"It's nice calling someone 'baby' pala, 'no?" I said, lowering the towel and combing his hair with my fingers.
He stayed silent.
"Ang daddy ko parang baby damulag," I teased again.
He shifted slightly, making me lose balance, but he quickly steadied me by gripping my waist. "Careful," he warned.
I grinned, peeking at his face.
"Bati na tayo?" I asked sweetly.
He rolled his eyes, and I smirked.
"Come closer, baka malaglag ka," he murmured, pulling me tighter against him.
"Concern siya..." asar ko, sinasapo ang panga niya't hinuhuli ang ekspresyon.
"Tss," he hissed. "Comb my damn hair again with your fingers, Serafine..."
I laughed, nodding, and ran my fingers through his hair again, brushing his scalp softly.
He smelled so good, and I couldn't help but lean in and sniff his neck. He froze because of me, but I pretended not to notice.
"Bango mo naman, Daddy," I whispered, brushing my nose along his neck. My hand rested on his shoulder, stroking his skin before I pressed a soft kiss to his neck.
"Sera..." he warned, tightening his grip on my waist.
"Hmm, yes, Daddy?" I hummed, letting my hand trail down his chest, fingers caressing the fine hair there.
"Stop..."
"Stop what?" I teased, licking the side of his neck and giving it a playful bite.
"Stop," he repeated—though there was no conviction in his voice.
Heat surged through me. His breathing quickened, his hand slowly slipping under my shirt.
I kissed up his neck, sucking gently at his skin.
"Hmm..." he moaned sexily.
It sent shivers down my spine.
"You like it, huh, Daddy?" I whispered.
"Yes," he breathed.
I froze when I felt the clasp of my bra come undone, his hand gliding across my back.
In response, I sucked harder at his neck, feeling how his breathing grew heavier.
"Baby..." he whispered, his lips brushing against my throat.
"Y-Yes, Rai?"
"I might lose my fucking control," he groaned, his voice low.
I chuckled softly, licking his ear.
"Then lose it," I whispered sensually—my voice fading as his hand pressed firmly against my chest.
My breath hitched as he cupped my breast, his finger gently caressing my bud. A soft moan escaped my lips while I moved my hips against his growing bulge.
"Fuck, baby..."
"Hmm..." My body was immediately consumed by a heat and lust I've never felt with anyone before.
As I felt him grow beneath me, I couldn't help but groan, pressing myself against him, seeking my pleasure.
He kissed, nipped, and sucked my neck, then my head with one hand so his lips could claim mine, while I moved my hips, dry-humping his protruding bulge.
Our tongues battled, my lips parting as and my fingers tangled in his hair, tugging each time he brushed against my peak.
"Fuck, baby..." Bumaba ang hawak niya sa aking baywang at dumiin do'n.
I closed my eyes and buried my face in his neck, dry-humping and savoring the pressure it gave us both.
"I might fucking cum in my clothes, baby," bulong niya.
I smiled.
My breath quickened as he gently guided me back and forth on his hard dick, which I could feel even through the clothes between us.
Humalik ako sa balikat ni Rai at kinagat iyon.
"I-I'm gonna cum, Rai," I said as if pleading.
"Go on, baby," he whispered, rubbing his dick harder against my sensitive, pulsating spot.
A loud moan escaped my lips as I climaxed. Heat exploded through me, and all I could do was fall helplessly onto his shoulder, my strength completely drained.
Wala munang umimik sa aming dalawa. The world seemed to have vanished, leaving only the sound of our ragged breathing and the warmth of his embrace. He held me tightly, pressing a gentle kiss to the crown of my head.
"That was hot, baby," bulong niya at mahina siyang humalakhak.
"Asshole." I slapped his arm, and he kissed my head, slowly pulling away.
Our eyes met, and I caught his smile. He cupped my cheek, gently tilting my head so he could kiss me slowly on the lips.
"Baby, let's rest," he said.
My gaze slowly drifted down to his boxers, and I winced when he flicked me on the forehead.
"Daddy, joke lang 'yong kanina na hard ka, pero ngayon totoo na," I teased, reaching out—only to gasp when he caught my hand and pressed it firmly behind me.
"No touching."
"Why? A-Ako nakaano, 'tapos 'yong susi ng tagumpay mo hindi—"
"Oh, stop with the key thing!" he groaned, making me burst out laughing.
He shook his head, then suddenly lifted me from his lap, carrying me straight to the bathroom. He set me down gently in the bathtub.
"Take a shower again, Sera," he said, glancing at me with a smirk. "You're... dripping wet."
"Rai—"
"I know, woman. I know." He shook his head.
"Pero Rai, unfair naman kung—"
"Come on, baby, stop making it hard—"
"Eh, hard na nga!" I blurted out.
"Fuck," he cursed, closing his eyes tightly and pointing at me. "Stay there. Clean yourself and be a good baby girl. I'll go to the bathroom downstairs to take a cold shower."
"But I can take care of you, too—"
He turned away before I could finish, covering his ears as he rushed out of the bathroom door.

I'VE BEEN WAITING for this!
A few days ago, I gasped with excitement when I received an email about an internship opportunity. I stared it, laughing with joy when I realized it came from Miranda Architecture & Engineering Corporation. It detailed a scheduled interview for engineering internship applicants.
I spent the following days preparing my résumé and gathering the requirements for the HR interview. I even bought formal clothes, using what little money was left after setting aside for Miggy's operation.
Mamaya na ang interview ko. Rai left a few days ago for a project in Manila, so I was left alone with Lando na parang anino at basta-basta na lang lumilitaw.
From: Papa dè Asukal / Daddy
Sorry, but I don't know if I can make it to your interview, baby.
To: Papa dè Asukal / Daddy
Ayos lang, ano ka ba? Focus on your work, keri ko 'to sa HR.
From: Papa dè Asukal / Daddy
I know you can do it, baby ko pa ba?😘
"Ma'am, samahan ko po ba kayo sa HR?" Lando asked when we arrived in front of Miranda Architecture & Engineering Corporation.
"Huwag na. Baka magtaka ang mga kaklase ko kung bakit ako may bodyguard na kasama. Text na lang kita kapag tapos na ang interview."
He nodded and smiled. "Sige po, hihintayin na lang kita dito. Good luck, Ma'am Sera!"
I chuckled, nodding. "Thank you."
I walked inside the building, and my phone vibrated. I noticed people gathering near the elevator doors, though there weren't many getting inside.
From: Papa dè Asukal / Daddy
Are you busy now? Wala akong kiss?☹️
I laughed as I walked straight through the crowd and into the elevator, my eyes fixed on my phone.
To: Papa dè Asukal / Daddy
Sorry na. O, ito na 'yong kiss ng daddy ko!😗
From: Papa dè Asukal / Daddy
Sarap naman ng kiss!😗
The elevator doors closed.
To: Papa dè Asukal / Daddy
Magtrabaho ka na! Bad daddy!
My eyes shifted to the center, widening as I saw a sophisticated woman, perhaps in her fifties. She was fair, dressed in a deep black dress, her hair styled in a classic updo.
"Sino ka?" Her cold question alone made me nervous.
"P-Po?"
She wasn't looking at me directly—her gaze was fixed on our reflection in the elevator, emotionless.
"Sino ka?" she pressed.
"Uhm, Sera—"
"Who gave you the right to ride the elevator with us?" Another voice cut—it was from the sharp-eyed, tall woman.
"P-Po?"
"Donya Angelita Miranda, the company's chairwoman, is here. Sino ka para sumabay sa amin sa elevator?"
My nerves spiked instantly.
"S-Sorry po! Hindi ko po alam, pasensiya na po." I bowed slightly. "I-Intern po... May interview lang po ako sa HR for engineering interns. W-Wala po akong ideya..."
The sharp-eyed woman remained stern and silent, her gaze fixed on the elevator doors.
"Tita, we should never accept interns like this! Hindi pa nga tanggap, boba na!" she told the chairwoman.
"M-Ma'am..." I cleared my throat, lowering my head. "Pasensiya na po, hindi ko po talaga napansin."
Shit, damn, Serafine! Anong ginagawa mo?!
The elevator doors opened. The chairwoman stepped out first, followed by the two women. I hurried after them, still apologizing.
"Ma'am, pasensiya na po—"
"Make me coffee," the chairwoman suddenly ordered, stopping me in my tracks.
"P-Po?"
"Kape raw!" the sharp-eyed woman snapped.
"O-Okay po..." I stammered, panic rising, tears threatening to fall.
The chairwoman didn't look back, deretso lang ang lakad, but the sharp-eyed woman glanced at me and pointed somewhere.
"The pantry's there, stupid!" she spat before leaving me behind.
I rushed to the pantry. It was empty—no one there to help.
Mas nadagdagan ang kaba ko.
I panicked, staring at the coffee maker and the jar of ground coffee, clueless about how to use them. I glanced at my watch—only five minutes left before my interview!
Hands trembling, I tried to learn how to use the coffee maker, but I had no idea how it worked. Then I spotted a box of three-in-one coffee sachets. Without thinking, I grabbed one, quickly made coffee, and then I ran straight to the chairwoman's office.
The sharp-eyed woman was sitting in front of the desk, while the chairwoman remained in her swivel chair.
"G-Good morning po," I greeted softly.
No response.
The chairwoman kept her eyes on the papers before her, and the other woman raised a brow, silently mocking me.
"Alice, have you scheduled the meeting for the supplier?" the chairwoman asked.
"Yes, Tita," the other woman replied sweetly. Is she the same Alice I read about in the articles?
Quietly, I placed the cup of coffee on the desk.
"I-Ito na po," I said.
The chairwoman didn't even glance at me. I bit my lip, sneaking a glance at Alice, who only scowled.
"Ma'am, pasensiya na po uli. Pero kailangan ko na pong umalis para sa interview ko," I said gently.
Still no response from the chairwoman, but Alice rolled her eyes at me. I just smiled faintly, bowed my head, and turned to leave—only to freeze at the sound of a sharp, furious voice.
"What the hell is this?!" mataas ang boses niyang tanong.
She was looking at me ridiculously, the lid of the coffee cup left open.
"M-Ma'am..."
"Ano'ng klaseng kape 'to?" she groaned angrily.
I rushed forward, panicking.
"Ma'am, hindi po kasi ako marunong gumamit ng coffee maker, kaya three-in-one—"
"Stupid!" she snapped.
I gasped as she annoyingly pushed the coffee cup to the floor, its contents spilling everywhere.
"M-Ma'am, sorry po—"
"Hindi p'wede sa kompanyang ito ang estupidang kagaya mo!" singhal niya bago iritadong naglakad paalis, ang tensyon at galit ay halata.
My lips parted, my breath catching in shock.
"Familiar ka," Alice said suddenly, raising her brows. Napasulyap ako sa kanya, tuliro pa.
"P-Po?"
"Oh! You're Vioxx's stupid whore!" she laughed cruelly.
"I'm not—"
"Iiwan ka rin no'n." She smirked. "Huwag kang umasa. Basura ka lang—didispatsahin din kapag pinagsawaang tikman."
My palm clenched into a fist, ang takot ay napalitan ng iritasyon.
"Wala kang karapatang pagsalitaan ako ng ganyan," I said firmly, but she only laughed and rolled her eyes.
"Oh, anyway, linisin mo 'yong kape sa sahig. Baka magalit ang mommy ni Vioxx 'pag balik niya." She sneered before walking out, leaving me behind.
"Kaya mo 'yan, Serafine."
I quickly grabbed a rag, cleaning up the spilled coffee as fast as I could, then nearly ran to the HR office for my interview.
"Miss, ako po 'yong Serafine Mendez," I said, catching my breath.
The lady glanced at me, confused by my disheveled appearance, before checking the screen. "Late ka na, Miss Mendez," she said curtly. "Next!" she exclaimed, calling the next applicant.
"M-Ma'am, sorry po, kasi—"
"Kahit ano pang dahilan mo, Miss, late ka na," she said, irritated.
"Ma'am, hindi ko naman po ginusto—"
Lalong bumakas ang iritasyon sa mukha niya. "Paano ka tatanggapin kung mismong interview ay late ka?"
"Ma'am, baka—"
"Next!" she shouted again.
Nahulog ang balikat ko, napapapakit na lang. Weakly, I walked to a bench, feeling the stares of the other applicants.
"Sera..." Marco approached me.
I gave him a sad smile.
"I can give you my spot—"
"No!" I exclaimed, shaking my head.
"But Sera—"
"Mr. Marco Flores?" the lady from the HR office called.
I saw the sadness in Marco's eyes as he sighed.
"Good luck," I told him.
He entered an office, and I walked over to an empty bench and sat, drained. My hands clenched into fists, head bowed. Exhaustion and the sting of humiliation weighed on me, tears threatening to spill.
Maybe I should try finding another company for my internship.
I covered my face with my palm, shut my eyes tightly, and sighed.
Suddenly, a hand gripped my wrist. When I looked up, my strength faltered—but I found comfort.
Rai knelt before me, searching my eyes. When he spoke, I couldn't hold back my emotions any longer.
"What's the matter?" he asked tenderly.
"R-Rai..." I murmured softly, a tear escaping from my eye. "P-Pagod na pagod na ako."
