Meanwhile, Beomgyu was hiding under his blankets when he got a buzz from his phone. He screamed again thinking the buzz was the bee. But nah, it was a notification from Taehyun saying he was downstairs.
Not getting any reply, Taehyun ended up ringing the doorbell and Beomgyu's brother opened it up for him.
"Uhm, Bear? Taehyun's here." Yeonjun knocked and then opened the door slightly ajar.
Beomgyu quickly got out of the covers and ran to the door. "HYUN?!"
"Ah! Hi Beom!" Taehyun giggles, reaching out to ruffle Beomgyu's hair.
Immediately, Beomgyu calmed down. "H- Hi!"
"Alright, I'll go finish making the food." Yeonjun turned to leave.
"Wait! Hyung! Agh-" Beomgyu sighed after unsuccessfully getting his brother's attention.
He shrugged, then turned to Taehyun. "Soo.. what brings you all the way up to my room?"
"Well- you didn't exactly answer my text.. aha.." Taehyun awkwardly rubs the back of his neck.
Out of all their years of being best friends, this was their first time being in Beomgyu's room,✨alone✨ and it made them shy.
"You look nice, by the way." Beomgyu shyly compliments the younger.
He was wearing a long black hoodie that had design on the front, along with blue jeans that touched the ground. Underneath his hoodie was a white shirt longer than the hoodie.
"Thanks! You look pretty nice too.. and you smell nice. Is that weird to say? Uhm.." Taehyun whispered that last part.
Beomgyu blushed and smiled, secretly happy Taehyun liked how he smelled. It was what he was going for, after all!
"Thank you..! You smell nice too. Is that a new cologne?"
"Yeah! You noticed."
"Of course I did. You mean a lot to me."
"You mean a lot to me, too."
Awkward silence..
"O- Oh- right! Can you follow me, please? I have something to show you.." Beomgyu turned slowly towards the bathroom. Taehyun just nods and follows along.
Beomgyu took a big breath in, still very much afraid that he left a bee that he thinks is a wasp in there with 2 fairies. And now that he's thinking about it, THE FAIRIES COULD BE IN DANGER!!
He immediately opened the door to the bathroom and spots the two fairies petting the bee as if it were a pet.
He sighed in relief knowing they weren't in danger. "Heyyy guys~ so, you know how I said I wanted to bring a friend? Well, here he is!"
Soobin and Hueningkai looked at the other human upon arrival. They were both mesmerized as they stared the boy. He was downright gorgeous.
Taehyun was wide eyed and jaw dropped upon seeing the two Fairies. And the bee, since he didn't ever think of finding a bee in Beomgyu's bathroom. Or the Fairies. Definitely not the Fairies.
"Woah.." Huening slipped out in awe.
"Agreed." Soobin said, also in awe.
Beomgyu just looked at them confused. He started to feel awkward at the three staring at each other silently so he spoke up again. "Guys, you might wanna catch Taehyun up on things. And tell us the plan!"
"R-Right!" Hueningkai cleared his throat.
"Okay so, we're fairies. Shocker, I know. We were squished by a thing humans use and half of our population was decreased. Everyone else is injured and we kinda need a new place to live." Soobin starts. He got cut off by Taehyun, though.
"Woah, woah, wait! Beomgyu. SINCE WHEN DID YOU LIVE WITH FAIRIES?!!" Taehyun shouts, grabbing Beomgyu's shoulders and shaking him back and forth.
"HYUNN I JUST MET THEM LIKE A GOOD 30 MINUTES AGO!!" Beomgyu screamed.
"AND YOU DIDN'T TEXT ME THAT 30 MINUTES AGO??"
"I THOUGHT A WASP WAS IN MY BATHROOM, OKAY?! I GOT SCAREDD!!!"
"But you could've still texted me a tiny message." Taehyun pouts.
"Ahhh! I'm sorry Hyun!!" Beomgyu yelps, clinging onto him and hugging him tightly.
"..continuing. We need to get back to the village to give them all first aid and then we want you guy to find us a new home."
"Oh yeah, WHY DIDN'T YOU GUYS TELL ME HALF OF YOUR POPULATION IS DEAD!?"
"At the time, i thought it was useless information. Turns out it isn't.." Soobin mumbles.
"Well we can't turn back time, so like.. we don't have any idea what else to do with them anyways." Hueningkai shrugs.
"Uhm, throw a funeral?? Mourn over those who died???" Taehyun advised.
Soobin hums. "That's an idea. By the way.. who was that other human that came here before this human?" He asked Beomgyu.
"Oh! That was my brother. Choi Yeonjun. He's a lil goofy, but he still takes good care of me!" Beomgyu grins.
"Ah. Your brother is hot." Soobin states.
"Nah, he's mid. I'm a hundred percent- wait- hah?" Beomgyu stared blankly at the fairy.
"What? A fairy can't lie. We know what we like." Soobin shrugs.
"But my brother? A human..? My brother??"
"It doesn't matter anyways. It's not like he's gonna come in here, spot us, join us on our mission to save fairy village, fall in love with me, and we start dating??"
"Bear~ Taehyun-ah~ Food's read- WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT A TINY PERSON WITH WINGS?!!" Yeonjun shouts.
Beomgyu face palmed himself. "Continue. I don't care my brother is here. He can listen all he wants."
"Uhm.. well that was it. That was our plan." Soobin states.
"Seriousl-"
"Hold on!" Yeonjun cuts Beomgyu's words. He quickly ran out of the bathroom, leaving the four confused. Seconds later, he came back in with a med-kit and some scissors.
"I-" Taehyun was cut off this time.
"HOW LONG HAVE YOU TWO BEEN INJURED?? AND HOW LONG HAVE YOU TWO BEEN STANDING HERE TALKING NOT HELPING THEM?!!" Yeonjun shouts.
"Well considering we live in the forest, which is being cut down at the moment, and the fact Soobin had an injured wing so I had to carry him, I'd say it took us a good 7 days to fly to this house which is the first one we saw." Hueningkai explained.
"..AN ENTIRE WEEK??!" Yeonjun glared at Beomgyu.
"Whaaaaat? I was gonna help them at some point!"
"ALWAYS TREAT INJURIES FIRST! They could've gotten an infection!" Yeonjun sighed.
He quickly helped the two fairies bandage up. First he cut a bandage wrap to fit their size, then he put ointment on their wounds because they needed it, and the next he bandaged them up, especially Soobin's broken wing.
"That should be good." Yeonjun said, nodding in satisfaction. "Beomgyu.."
"Yes Hyung.."
"What's the plan?" Yeonjun asked.
"What?" Beomgyu looked dumbfounded.
"I'm helping. What's the plan?" He asked again.
Beomgyu looked over at Taehyun who just shrugs, as he was still trying to comprehend the situation, and then at the fairies. The look on his face? Confused af. Soobin sighed.
Guess he had to explain, again!
