Part 39 Wedding Certificate

Evening

Arnav got the wedding papers registration done. After sending the message about the certificate to Aman, he started to RM with Khushi.

Deepak was confused as Aman did nothing with him. He didn't know why they bring him to AR.

"Why did you bring me here?" Deepak asked.

"Why did you give a fake letter to Raizadas?" Aman asked him seriously.

"The letter given by me was not a fake one. Whatever I wrote on it is true" he said without fear.

"Do you know about whom you are talking? She is not just Khushi but Mrs. Arnav Singh Raizada" Aman said in an intimidating tone.

"It's a lie... Khushi is not ASR's wife. She is acting like that..." Deepak said.

"Why should she act as his wife? What's necessary? Do you know what ASR's reputation in this society is? Do you think he can even let someone enter into his family who is not related to him?" Aman questioned him to confuse him.

Deepak became thoughtful.

"Do you think your letter would have created the problem in Raizada mansion?" he asked sarcastically.

"I... I... have no doubt in it..." he stammered.

"Why are you saying that doubtfully?" Aman smiled.

Deepak was silent.

"Ok... if you are so confident about it, why should not you go to RM directly and tell them the truth?" He asked making Deepak astonished.

"Do you think I can't do it?" Deepak asked.

"When did I say so? Of course, you can do it. Go ahead... then only you will get to know the truth" Aman said.

"What truth?" Deepak frowned.

"Why would I tell you that?"

"Then why did you bring me here?"

"I wanted to see who gave the letter to Raizadas"

"How do you know about the letter?" Deepak asked him.

"I was the one who received the letter" Aman lied.

"What do you mean?"

"Yeah... you wanted to give it to someone other than Khushi. So, the security gave it to me. I went there to bring a file. Because of you, I didn't even go inside. I returned back with your letter. Do you know what will be your condition if ASR got to know your intention?" he asked dangerously.

"He is a big businessman... he has to face such problems in his life... especially when he lies," Deepak said with guts.

"He is always ready to face... Are you?" Aman smirked.

Deepak felt it as intimidating.

"You can go to RM. No one will do anything to you. I'm responsible for your safety... Go and tell them" Aman said.

Deepak looked at him suspiciously. How he is so confident? He should be thinking that he won't go to the Raizada mansion. What if he truly goes to the Raizada mansion? What could they do to him? He was damn sure that Khushi is not Arnav's wife and he knew they were acting. He himself heard Khushi accepting those truths. Then why should he be scared? Let them prove him wrong.

Aman stood from his seat.

"You can go... I too have work" he said.

Deepak left the place hesitatingly. Aman smirked.

RM

"what are you thinking Nani?" Anjali asked.

"I'm scared, Anjali. I don't want Khushi to be wrong" she said nervously.

"Please, don't be stressed, Nani. Didn't Shyam ask us to be calm?" Anjali tried to console Nani.

"Haan, he said... but my heart is not listening to me..." She said sadly.

"Nani, I too was upset when I got the letter but now, after analyzing, I think Chotte can't be wrong because I saw love in his eyes for Khushi which I never had seen before"

They looked at the doorstep, hearing,

"What are you talking about? What letter did you get?" asked Manorama.

Anjali and Nani looked at each other.

"What's the matter Anjali?" she came and sat with them.

Anjali told Manorama about the letter. Manorama was also shocked.

"What do you think?" Manorama asked.

"I don't want to think anything until Shyamji gets the proof," Anjali said.

"What proof?" Manorama asked curiously.

"Shyamji told us Chotte would have registered their wedding if he really had married to Khushi. he said he will get the registration certificate by tomorrow"

"This is what you want?" Manorama asked.

Anjali nodded yes.

"Give me, five minutes. I will get it from Arnav bituwa" Manorama said.

"But how? What if Chotte got to know about the letter?" Anjali asked panicking.

"Why fear, when Mami is here? You just leave it on me."

"Mami, please, don't do anything that can create a problem," Anjali asked pleadingly.

"I know Anjali. I too have a concern about Arnav bituwa" Manorama said.

Anjali sighed.

"Let Arnav bituwa come" Manorama said.

Anjali nodded ok.

"We should be in the living room to implement the plan. Let's go" Manorama said.

They came to the living room and waited for Arnav and Khushi. Manorama asked Hari Prakash to bring them tea.

As expected, Arnav and Khushi came to RM in a few minutes. Arnav smiled at them as usual. Of course, Khushi also looked relaxed.

"Come, Arnav bituwa... have tea..." Manorama said.

"I need coffee, Mami... Khushi, what about you?" Arnav sat with them while asking Khushi casually.

"I will have tea," Khushi said.

"You too sit, Khushi" Anjali said.

Khushi nodded ok and Anjali passed a cup to Khushi.

"Anjali, did you say about it to Arnav bituwa?" Manorama asked.

"About what, Mami?"

"Do you forget? Didn't I tell you about adding Khushi's name in our family ration card?" Manorama said gesturing her something through her eyes.

(Readers may think, 'Raizadas and Ration card?' For your kind information, there are two kind of ration cards. Rich people also have it with WHITE color cover. They won't use it to get ration but for identification. You need ration card to get DOMICILE CERTIFICATE from the government.)

"Oh, that one... yeah..."

"What's that Mami?" Arnav asked.

"As Khushi got married to you, she became our family member now. So, we have to add her name to our ration card as it is a formality" Manorama said.

Khushi tried not to react to it and drank the tea.

"Oh... then do it," Arnav said casually.

"To do that, we have to submit evidence of your wedding," Manorama said.

Arnav understood what they were trying.

"Evidence like what mami?" He asked as if he didn't get them.

"Just like a Wedding invitation..." Manorama said not coming to the point.

"Mami, don't you know how we got married?" Arnav asked.

"Oh... then, we can't do that now. We have to wait until their official wedding" Manorama said looking at Anjali.

"Mami, do one thing..." Arnav said and the trio looked at him.

Khushi didn't look at him as she knew what he was going to do.

"Use my wedding registration certificate to do the process," Arnav said.

Their faces instantly lit and Arnav and Khushi didn't miss noticing it.

"Did you register your wedding, Chotte?" Anjali asked delightedly.

"What a silly question is this Di?" He chuckled.

"We thought you got married to Khushi just like that..." Anjali said.

"Did you forget what I said?" he asked.

"What?" Anjali asked frowning.

"Do you remember for what reason I married her hurriedly?"

Anjali nodded yes and said,

"Yeah... you said you wanted to make her feel secure..." Anjali said.

"Then, making her feel secure is even possible without registering our wedding legally?" Arnav said looking at Khushi.

Anjali chuckled and nodded no.

"Khushi bitiya, why didn't you trust our Chotte?" Nani asked smilingly.

Khushi was embarrassed. She didn't know what to say. Arnav came for her help, understanding her state.

"Nani, please, don't ask her that... she has a very big complaint list for me... you don't know to talk nicely... you don't know to please a girl... you don't have patience... you get angry easily... the list will be continued..." Arnav laughed.

Khushi bit her lip. Doesn't he know those things? Who else other than him could do that if he can't? Khushi thought.

"She is not wrong though... in that, I'm in Khushi's side..." Anjali said chuckling.

"I too will be with her," Nani said.

"Arnav bituwa, I so wanted to be with you but I can't..." Manorama said laughingly.

"I know..." Arnav laughed, joining with her.

Khushi kept the empty teacup on the table.

"Khushi, keep my laptop bag in our room and bring our wedding certificate's Xerox copy. There are a few copies in the file" Arnav said.

Khushi nodded ok and stood taking Arnav's laptop bag in which the wedding registration certificate was being kept. She walked to their room with the bag. After reaching the room, she removed a Xerox copy from the bag and came downstairs. She extended the certificate to Anjali. Anjali almost snatched it from her hand in curiosity. She read the certificate. Especially, check the date of the wedding. As the certificate showed the wedding date to be three months back, she nodded yes with satisfaction. That satisfaction spread into Nani and Manorama's faces too. They huffed in relief. Arnav smiled inwardly. Somehow, he managed to sustain the smile of his favorite women... including Khushi.

To be continued...
