chapter 27
It had been a month... a month since Bryan and his youngest babies were kidnapped by Eden.
Bryan had a small, weak smile on his face as he looked at the sleeping Hope and Jack, both of which were cuddled next to eachother and Bryan. He let out a yawn and rubbed one of his eyes, having not been able to sleep for the past 3 days.
His reason for not being able to sleep was that one time when he was sleeping, Eden came in and took Hope and Jack from him, not giving them back to him until about a week later. Due to his fear of losing the babies again, he became unable to sleep, only sleeping for a few hours when he passes out from exhaustion.
He looked at himself, his upper and lower body bruised and even having a black eye which hurt too much to open. Whenever Eden got angry at the babies for crying too much and yelled at them, Bryan snapped at him which caused Eden to hurt him instead.
Bryan whined softly and teared up, beginning to cry silently, scared by the thought of never seeing his other babies again, never seeing his brothers again, never seeing his friends again, never seeing his boyfriend again, and most importantly, scared for the safety of his babies.
Bryan continued to cry, not noticing that Hope and Jack had woken up until they clung to him, nuzzling him while trying to calm him down. Bryan smiled weakly at them and hugged them, whimpering in pain from moving his body as he embraced his babies.
They remained like that for a while before a loud crash was heard from outside the room, the babies whimpering as Bryan placed them at his side and put an arm over them. Something banged against the door, almost as if trying to knock it down, as the babies whined, Bryan trying to soothe them.
The door suddenly burst open, Brandon, Brandeen, and Rian panting from having to repeatedly ram into the door. Bryan's eyes gained a hopeful look as he teared up, Jack and Hope squealing happily at the familiar faces.
The three quickly rushed over, Rian and Brandeen's eyes flaring with anger when they saw Bryan's black eye.
''Brandon. You take them back to Divinus Magia... Rian and I have some business to take care of, without waiting for a response, they both gently hugged Bryan and the babies before running out of the room, a murderous aura around them.
Brandon sighed and quickly removed the chain from Bryan's leg, the brunette gently grabbing Hope and Jack before pulling them into his chest as Brandon picked him up, a lacrima in his hand as he teleported them back to the island. Brand quickly walked into the infirmary before placing Bryan down on one of the beds.
''You can rest now, I'm going to go get Lo Pho to heal you, along with find Jakey.'' Bryan nodded and yawned, almost immediately passing out from exhaustion, Hope falling asleep almost immediately after.
Jack didn't fall asleep as Brandon left, instead he just rested his head against Bryan and looked around the room. Eventually, he drifted off to sleep, feeling a sense of security from where they were, knowing that the bad man couldn't hurt them here.
