74 Anjali's Decision
Part 74 Anjali's decision (Long update)
Raizadas stood with shock hearing Anjali's pregnancy, except Nani whereas Jha rushed into his room to meet his wife. Nani also went inside. Shyam hugged Anjali who was more shocked than anyone.
"Congratulations, Rani Sahiba... Finally, our princess is going to come to this world. You have no idea how happy I'm" he almost choked.
Anjali was stern in her expression. Shyam broke the hug and kissed her forehead emotionally.
"Thank you for giving me the honor of being the father of your child, Rani Sahiba"
There was no change of expression on her face.
"What happened, Rani Sahiba? Are not you happy?"
"I'm shocked..."
"Oh... it's a sweet shock after all" he said excitedly.
Anjali spilled a soft smile.
In the meanwhile,
Khushi and Lavanya looked at Arnav who was also shocked.
"Arnavji..." Khushi clutched his hand.
Arnav gulped down.
"Bhai, what will we do now?"
"We will decide it later... now, we have to celebrate the awaited moment. Let's go"
Arnav walked in. Khushi and Lavanya followed him. Shyam stood up from the bed, seeing them. Arnav sat in front of Anjali and hugged her.
"Congratulations, Di"
Anjali reciprocated his hug and closed her eyes. Arnav broke the hug.
"You should be careful, Di. Don't roam a lot... eat healthily..."
Anjali nodded ok.
"You have to go to the check-up tomorrow..." Arnav said, looking at Shyam.
"Yeah... I will take her to the hospital" Shyam said and Arnav nodded ok.
"Are you feeling better now, Di?"
Anjali nodded yes.
"Di, what happened to you? Why are you behaving weirdly?"
"I'm feeling dizzy, Chotte..."
"Oh... then lay down..."
He made her lie down.
"Guys, don't disturb Di. Let her take rest"
They nodded ok and left the room.
"Take rest, Di"
Anjali nodded ok and Arnav came out of the room.
Arnav headed to his room. No doubt, Khushi and Lavanya also came with him. Arnav sat on the bed, joining his fingers. Khushi stood aloof without disturbing him. Lavanya went to him and kneeled in front of him.
"Bhai, I know what you are thinking. Please, don't do that, Bhai. Please tell the truth to Di"
"She is pregnant. She needs a pleasant situation around her. Being her loved ones, how could we destroy her? Don't you know how deeply she loves her husband? How could she bear the truth that her husband is a culprit?"
"We should make her strong, Bhai"
"Yes, but it takes time. We can't do it right away... we should not do it. It's not good for her and her baby"
"I don't like it, Bhai. I don't like that man. I could not tolerate his fake concern after knowing how dirty fellow he is"
"We are not going, to tell the truth to Di. It doesn't mean we should tolerate him"
"What do you mean Bhai?"
"I will tell you what to do"
Lavanya nodded ok.
"Be cool... everything will be alright"
Lavanya nodded ok and left.
Arnav looked at Khushi who was distraught. Arnav smiled at her. At the same time, he received a call from the commissioner. Arnav thought for a while and attended it.
"Hello, Sir"
"ASR, shall we come to RM to enquire about your family member tomorrow?"
Arnav got stuck.
"I will let you know when will everyone be at home, sir"
"Ok, ASR... try to make it soon"
"Ok, sir. You too try to get the main culprit. Please..."
"Sure, ASR... we are trying"
"Thank you, sir"
Arnav disconnected the call. He looked disturbed. Why not? After all, he was in a condition in which he could not implement his plan.
On the other side,
Lavanya called Aman. He attended the call on the third ring as he was busy as usual.
"Hi, baby..."
"Shut your bloody mouth. How dare you hide the truth from me? this is what you love? This is what your loyalty is. I thought you would never hide anything from me but you made my thought wrong... I didn't expect this from you"
"Hey... tell me what the matter is and then scold. If you scold me, without telling me the matter, how could I understand why you are angry with me?"
"I got to know everything... and got to know you knew everything"
Aman's intellect alarmed.
"Which EVERYTHING you are talking about?"
"Is there much EVERYTHING you kept hidden from me?"
"Lavanya, please talk clearly"
"I'm talking about the snake in the grace... Shyam"
Aman got stuck. How did Lavanya get to know about it? who told her? What did happen in RM that she got to know about it?
"Why are you silent? Open your bloody mouth at least now"
Aman sighed.
"Since you got to know everything, what's there to talk about? Go and ask your brother"
"I already did"
"That's nice... follow his instruction"
"What the hell are you talking about? You have not answered my question, why did you hide it from me"
"It's because I was not in the deciding position. I did what Khushi said. I ought to obey Mrs. ASR's words. I can't do anything going against her words..."
"Do you know what kind of problem we are in now?"
"Whatever, ASR is back... he will handle anything. You don't have to bother about it. And..."
Cutting him,
"Di is pregnant..."
Aman went speechless.
"The Doctor just confirmed it. Our condition became critical now... if you had told me the truth, I would have spoken to Di before itself. Now, Bhai is hesitating to tell her the truth" Lavanya said.
"Who knows this would turn this way? In fact, we never expected ASR would get cured so soon. We hid the truth only because we didn't want to put ASR's life at risk." He repented.
"Don't know where will this problem take us" Lavanya disconnected the call.
Aman sighed. He was worried about Arnav. Why life was playing with him this way? The one wrong person entered their life and everything changed brutally. Lavanya was right. Don't know where would this problem take them.
Night
Arnav was lying on the bed, keeping his hand under his head. Khushi came and sat next to him.
"Are you alright?"
He smiled and said nothing.
"I know you are not..."
He pulled her on his chest.
"You are not wrong. It feels like, all the doors around me got locked. I don't know what to do. I never felt so helpless like this" he said circling her in his arms.
"Everything will be alright, Arnavji. From the beginning, nothing happened as per our wishes. It goes in the flow. Like the same, this problem will find its way"
"But how? Di is pregnant. Her husband is a criminal. Without her knowledge, we can do nothing in this matter but we can't let her know because she is pregnant. I don't know how this problem will get over" He said wearily.
"Don't you get any idea?"
"It will come to an end when the main culprit gets caught. I asked the commissioner to do that. Let's see..."
"If you want to find a solution, sleep peacefully"
Arnav looked at her getting amazed.
"Sleep? Khushi, how could I get a peaceful sleep in this critical situation?"
"You know, when we get married, I saw you not sleeping... not even for a few minutes. Swamiji asked me to watch your sleep. I kept on watching you and you were up day and night. I told him. The medicine he gave you first is, to sleep peacefully because he said, the human brain would function only if it gets a good sleep. Without sleep, it can't work properly. That's why I ask you to sleep"
"Oh... ok, I understood the importance of sleep... but how to sleep? To get good sleep, I should be tired..."
Khushi pressed her lips together but Arnav's next stance made her press her face on his chest.
"Make me tired... let me do hard work. Then, I may get sleep"
Flipping her on the bed, he tried to get tired. Khushi thought he could not concentrate on HER as he was hell-disturbed about Anjali but to her surprise, her guess reminded as JUST guess. Arnav forgot the stress that was suppressing his heart. As he wanted, he worked hard. His body lost its complete energy and he became tired. At last, he slept, hugging Khushi.
Though Arnav slept Khushi could not. She was thinking about Arnav, Anjali, Shyam, and the doctor... she slept only early in the morning.
The next morning
Taking a bath, Arnav came out of the washroom and saw Khushi still sleeping. Somewhat he understood the reason. He let her sleep as there was nothing she could do. He sat on the recliner and thought about what could be done.
That was when someone knocked on their door. The knock was a little louder. Khushi got disturbed by the knocking sound. She sat on the bed jerking.
"Relax..." saying Arnav opened the door.
Khushi got off the bed. He saw Lavanya standing.
"What Lavanya?"
"Bhai, Di is not at home"
"Whaaat?"
"Haan, Bhai... she is not finding at home"
"Have you searched her everywhere?"
"Yeah, I, Nani, Jeejaji, and HP searched all the corners of RM"
"Why didn't you wake me up?"
"We thought she would be here only"
Arnav rushed out panicking whereas Khushi went to the washroom to wash her face.
"Did you call Di's number?"
"Her mobile is in her room only"
"Whaaaat? Where would she have gone?"
Arnav came to the security and saw Shyam inquiring them about Anjali.
"She went by auto, sir," the security said.
"Why didn't you say anything about it to me?" Shyam asked.
"I thought you know about it"
"Do you know where she went?" Arnav asked.
"I heard her saying some hospital name"
"Hospital?"
"I think she went for the checkup," Shyam said.
"But why did she go alone? Have you guys had a fight?" Arnav asked.
"Why would we fight, Sale Sahib, that too when she is pregnant? Don't you know how much I love her?"
Arnav rolled his eyes. Taking his mobile, Arnav dialed the doctor.
"Doctor, Arnav Singh Raizada speaking"
"Yeah, tell me"
"Have Di's checkup got over?"
"Anjali? She has not come here yet"
Arnav frowned. Didn't she reach the hospital yet? Then where did she go?
"Ok, doctor"
Arnav turned towards Lavanya,
"Bring my car key"
Lavanya nodded ok and was about to go, she stopped as a cab entered RM's vicinity. They saw Anjali getting down from the cab. She looked tired.
"Di... where did you go?"
Anjali said nothing and looked weak. She pressed her head.
"Diiiii" in no time, Arnav picked her in his arms and walked in.
Lavanya and Shyam rushed with him. Arnav came to her room and placed her on the bed.
"Di, where did you go? Why did you go alone? Why didn't you take anyone with you? Why are we here, Di? What happened to you? why are you looking weak?"
Anjali's answer horrified them.
"I aborted the child"
