"Huening, fucking, kai! WAKE UP!!" Shouts were heard from downstairs. They weren't his mother's shouts for him.
"Wha? Guys what are you doing here?" He questioned. His friend group was in his living room.
"We have to leave, remember? Talent show." Beomgyu said.
"Oh yeahh!" The boys had planned weeks ago to join the talent show by showing off their musical talents. Everyone was going to be there. It was held in the big building that could fit every grade year, though it was quite tight.
Huening Kai quickly got ready and dressed his best for this talent show. He also grabbed his keytar, a guitar with piano keys.
The boys then left for the school. They had to get there fast because they were almost late. To make it worse, Huening Kai's house had been the furthest away from the school.
They made it and hurried into the building the talent show was going to be held. Running backstage, they were glad when they made it just on time.
One by one, they watched as other students quickly performed their talents to the audience. The audience was of students and teachers who hadn't signed up for the talent show. Heesung's group was there to watch. Hyunjin's group was also there to watch.
Huening Kai was shocked when he saw Taehyun running to them, face full of excitement and shock. He was pointing really hard at a direction.
Beomgyu had that same look when he spotted what Taehyun saw, mouth agape as he was super shocked. He was smiling so hard.
Taehyun had been wandering around as he spotted 7 people waiting backstage. There, he saw BTS standing there. They were going to be starred in this talent show to get the crowd hyped. No one knew about it besides the principal.
Thats whats gotten him so excited.
Suddenly, it was up for the 5 to get up on stage and sing their hearts out, as well as play the instruments they brought.
Beomgyu had an acoustic guitar. Soobin had drums which was part of the music room but they gladly let him use it. Yeonjun had his electric guitar that he didn't really know how to play but whenever he stum it, it sounded magnificent. Taehyun didn't play an instrument.
And of course, Huening Kai had his keytar. Unique instrument and he knows it.
They played a song they made called, 'Maze in the mirror'. Beomgyu wrote the lyrics one day when he was just staring into nothing and the rest of the members helped complete the song.

The song ended with claps from the audience. They bow and leave the stage. They were the last to show their talent.
And soon began the finale. Up came running BTS who made the crowd go wild. That's the effects of those boys.
Suddenly someone shouted, "Fire!!" The crowd's screams blurred them out, but Huening Kai could hear them.
Though, BTS heard it too and thought they meant to sing, 'Fire'. "Bultaoreune" said Yoongi, before they all started to sing their song, hyping the crowd up more.
Huening Kai exclaimed to his friends that they needed to get out of there and stop the show, there was a fire.
They nod and turn the power off, catching BTS off guard. Yeonjun then runs out with the mic. "THERE IS A FIRE!!" He shouted into the mic. "EVERYONE RUN!!"
And with that, panic spread and everyone ran out as fast as they could.

"Thank god we made it out there alive." Huening Kai chuckled at his friends.
"We made it out safely." Taehyun said, tears piling up in his eyes.
They all watch the now burning building in silence, just sitting there. Huening Kai could feel his eyes stinging with tears.
He smiled at his four friends as they were balling their eyes out, hugging each other tightly.
And he just watched them.
