Part 38 Stunning Arnav

Khushi could not believe Arnav really slept. She could not sleep, though. After tossing on the bed for a long time, she fell asleep in the middle of the night, putting her hand on him.

Arnav opened his eyes and looked at her. He too didn't sleep. As a professor, he wasn't sure if he could pollute her mind by taking their relationship to the next level. Their marriage happened for a reason. Or else, he would not have taken such a hasty decision about their wedding. He didn't know how he would restrict Khushi for three months. He didn't know if he could do that in front of her charms. Until she entered his life, he didn't know he was so weak. He had crossed paths with many girls in his life, from school to college, where he was working. He never felt the same impact in his heart that he felt for Khushi. It might be because her actions were so true and selfless. He turned towards her and kissed her forehead. Hugging her hand close to his heart, he slept.

The next morning

Khushi woke up late as she had slept late. She found herself in a new place and sighed, remembering she was married and she was at Arnav's place. She got off the bed and went to the washroom.

When she came to the kitchen, Arnav was almost finished cooking. He smiled at Khushi, who looked fresh.

"Good morning..."

"Good morning..." he smiled.

She came inside the kitchen and checked the dishes.

"It seems you slept tight last night..." he intentionally teased her.

Her hand stopped as she was opening a dish. She didn't answer. She didn't want to lie, nor did she want to tell the truth either.

"Have you finished cooking?" She changed the topic.

"Yeah... lunch is also ready. Just have to pack them."

"Why didn't you wake me up? I would have helped you..."

"How could I wake up a QUEEN and expect her to help me, who is always pampered by her loyal?" he smiled.

"I'm your wife now..."

Cutting her,

"That's why I have more responsibility."

She pressed her lips tight. He handed her a coffee cup.

"Have a coffee..."

Taking the cup, she sat at the dining table. Arnav also sat with his cup.

"Would you like to have a second coffee every day?"

Arnav nodded no.

"This is my first cup..." he sipped.

"Haven't you had coffee yet?"

"Nope..."

"But why? You have completed cooking, but didn't have a coffee?"

"Thought to have it with you..."

"You didn't wake me up and wait to have a coffee with me?"

He nodded yes. She sighed.

"I'm sorry. I wake up late..."

"Relax... I'm not a coffee freak. I just have..."

She felt bad for sleeping for so long. He stood up, finishing the coffee, and washed his cup. Then extended his hand towards her, asking for her cup. She pulled the cup behind.

"I will wash it..." she said.

"Don't be formal..."

"Ok, from the next time, I will wash your cup also..."

He rolled his eyes, smiling.

"Don't pamper me so much... it may backfire on you." She warned while washing the cup.

Arnav smiled. He packed their lunch in hot boxes and kept them in separate bags.

"I will get ready..." he went to their room and saw the blanket being unfolded.

Taking it, he folded it. Khushi, who followed him to their room, bit her tongue.

"I'm sorry... I forgot to fold it..." She said with an awkward expression.

"You would not have forgotten... You would not know it should be folded... am I right?"

"Actually, Maria folds it always..."

"Mmm..."

"But, I will do it from here on..."

Arnav smiled at her and went to the washroom. Khushi sat on the bed, palming her cheek wearily. She didn't know how she would change her routine.

Taking a bath, Arnav came out of the washroom. Wiping his wet hair, he dressed up neatly. He saw Khushi brooming the hall. He took the broom from her hand.

"What are you doing?"

"Just helping you..."

"We are going to college and will come in the evening. We don't have to clean it now. We will do it in the evening."

"I will do it... ok?" She asked.

He nodded, smiling.

"Go and wash your hands. We will have to leave after having breakfast."

She washed her hands and came to the dining room. They had breakfast.

"How did you learn to cook?" she asked.

"Just learned..."

"You were with your friends... You would not have a chance to get familiar with cooking, like other household chores. Right?"

"Yeah, I stayed with my friends. We were prosy of eating canteen food. At one point, we yearned for homemade food. So, we decided to give cooking a try. My friends' mothers guided us. As I have no mother, I gathered all their knowledge and became a better cook than they were." He chuckled.

Khushi admired him with a mild smile. Arnav saw that and flicked his fingers. She jerked at him.

"Stop admiring me and eat..." he smiled.

"Do you know I admire you?"

His smile brightened.

"You know what? You are not as crude as you said. You are enough understanding and mature." She teased.

"Khushi, just because I caught you admiring me, this kind of flattery is not necessary..."

"Do you think I'm covering up my admiration for you?"

Arnav smiled.

"If I want to admire you, I will do it openly. Now, I'm your wife... I have the right not only to admire you, but also to do anything with you. Even you can't stop me. Mind it," she said with an attitude.

Arnav stopped eating and raised his eyes to look at her. He looked at his plate as he didn't want to continue the argument. He knew where it would take him.

He had breakfast fast and got up.

"Make it fast; otherwise, we will be late."

Khushi smirked. It was clear what he was trying to avoid.

They headed to the college.

"I'm so excited." She said, and Arnav looked at her.

"We are going to the college as a husband and wife..." She grinned.

Arnav drove smiling.

"Don't worry, I will not reveal our wedding. That's why I'm wearing a collar suit to hide my mangal sutra."

"Never mind..."

"Don't you have a problem if it's revealed?"

"What's the big deal? We are, after all, husband and wife."

"I can't understand you, man. You were so hesitant to marry me because I was your student. And now, you don't mind about it..."

"If truth is something, how could we hide it? One day, it will be revealed..."

"Mmm... logic..."

He nodded yes.

Arnav parked the car, and they got out. At the same time, the principal also got out of his car. He smiled at them.

"Good morning, Sir..." They wished at once.

"Good morning, guys... You will get your wedding certificate today." He said.

"Ok, sir..."

"My friend will send it to you through someone. You don't have to go to the register office to collect it."

"Thank you so much, sir..."

"Welcome... has your father left?" he asked Arnav.

"Yes, sir. he left yesterday itself. I just came to attend our wedding."

"I see... have a nice day..." The principal walked off.

Khushi turned to walk, but stopped to see her classmate, who was there in the parking lot, looking at them in shock. Arnav and Khushi glanced at each other. Arnav walked without reacting, whereas Khushi grinned awkwardly at her. She rushed to Khushi and asked,

"Are you guys married?"

She nodded yes with no choice. What was there to hide after she heard everything?

"Yes, his father wants to go on a pilgrimage. It seems he had no idea when to come back soon. So, he wanted us to get married. As Arnie wanted to get married only with his father's presence, he agreed to the marriage. Our Principal helped us to get it registered."

The girl looked at her unbelievably. As they expected, the matter spread all over the college like a forest fire.

Jane hugged her happily.

"Congratulations, Khushi... I wish you a happy married life." She said and kissed her cheek.

Khushi grinned.

"I can't believe you are married. That, too, with Arnav sir... My God...!"

Khushi smiled. even she could not believe it. Only she knew how shocking the surprise was to her.

"When did it happen?"

"Yesterday, at Tapkeshwar Temple..."

"That means, it's your first night, yesterday..." She nagged her teasingly.

Khushi was stuck. She didn't want them to think wrongly.

"No, no... we decided to take our relationship to the next level only after the completion of my master's."

"Whaaat? But why? I'm sure it must be Arnav Sir's decision..."

"Oi, why are you thinking so?" she asked, making a face.

"Don't I know how crazy you are on Varanav sir?" She chuckled.

"Yeah, I'm crazy. It doesn't mean I'm interested in our first night..."

Jane sighed.

"You guys would not have gotten married... if I had been in your place, I would not have been like you... Such a waste piece you are!" She stopped.

Khushi dropped her jaw. It was because of that, Arnie. Let him come home today. She was not going to leave him. She concluded.

On the other side, in the staff room.

"Is it? Are you guys married?" Akash asked, shockingly.

Arnav looked at him plainly.

"In our college, everywhere are your wedding talks... is it true?"

He nodded yes.

"This is not done. How could you get married unannounced?"

"It's because it happened unexpectedly..."

"Then how did your father attend the wedding?"

"Because of him, only our wedding happened hastily. He wanted it to happen right away..."

"What about Khushi's parents?"

"They saw our wedding on LIVE..." he said without thinking, as he already thought about it.

"I hope you will invite us to your reception..."

"If I arrange one..."

"Won't you?"

"I have not decided it yet..."

Akash sighed, looking at the other professors.

"I thought to get married three months later, after my resignation is accepted. What to do, it happened this way."

"Is it necessary to resign from the job?"

He nodded yes. Akash again sighed.

Evening

Arnav waited for Khushi, sitting in the car. He started the car after she sat in it.

"How was your day?" Arnav asked.

"Don't ask me that..." she sighed.

"Why?"

"Everyone got to know we are married..."

"Mmm... so?"

"They tortured me to know if we completed our first night or not."

He rolled his eyes.

"They are thinking we already completed it."

"Didn't you say we postponed it for two years?"

"I did... they didn't believe it..."

"Why?"

"How do I know? It may be because we love each other..."

"Is performing on the first night love?"

"May not be... but it also kind of expresses our love to our loved one..."

"Oh..." he said, looking at the road, smiling.

"You know, in the maximum of a relationship, disinterest in one another was the reason for the couple's separation..."

"In our case, it will not happen because we both understand each other."

She rolled her eyes.

"Bull-headed man... don't know how I'm going to make him understand..." she murmured.

Arnav stopped the car in front of his house and asked,

"Did you say something?"

"I said no one would be understanding like you..."

He got out smiling. She followed him, blabbering within.

Arnav got fresh and prepared coffee. He had it with Khushi. Then he started preparing dinner. Khushi didn't show up in the kitchen, who was interested in helping him in the morning. He finished cooking and went to the washroom to wash his face. When he opened the washroom door, he stopped hearing,

BHITAR BHITAR AAG JALE... from their room. He slowly peeped inside and saw Khushi coming towards him in a black saree with a silver lining, looking damn HOT. Was she really seducing him? He was stunned to see her gutful MOVE. He felt like sweating in the cold climate. She advanced him with loose steps, singing the song. It was clear she was ready to do what she said.

To be continued...
