Part 46 Last Part

Arvind stabbed both Vishvesh and Nithesh Sharma. People around him were shocked to the core. Arnav was disappointed. He knew the police would be there any time to arrest the father and the son. Killing them was unnecessary. He didn't know why his father made such a drastic decision. He thought Arvind and Khushi would be visiting him often from here on.

"Uncle..." Khushi was the one who broke the ice.

Arvind smiled at her. There was no regret for what he did.

"Why did you do this, uncle? Why did you spoil your life?"

"There is nothing called life for me, beta. I wanted my son to live happily. I was so worried about his life, as he didn't seem interested in settling in. Now, I have no such worry because you are here for him. After you arrived in his life, he became energetic. He changed a lot. I will spend my life in jail gladly and peacefully because my son and you will be stress-free from here on."

"We will be stress-free because the police will be here anytime and will have arrested them. Killing is unwarranted, Papa," Arnav said, feeling sad.

"What do you think, Chotte? Will this leech be quiet, giving up on a property worth a thousand crores? No... he will not. He will turn into a permanent headache for you. he will not let you be peaceful. After all, he is a lawyer. He knows all the loopholes in the law. You guys may stand him, but it will always keep you on fire. I don't want it to happen... Evil like him should not live. He won't mind destroying others' happiness for his selfishness."

Arnav looked at him thoughtfully. Arvind looked at him and said,

"You don't know him but me..."

"What do you mean, Papa?"

"He is none other than the father of Vidhesh..." Arvind said, looking at Vishvesh's lifeless body, angrily.

"Whaaaat?" Arnav was shocked.

His friends were also shocked, but Khushi was confused as she didn't know who Vidhesh was.

"Yes, the same Vidhesh who misbehaved with your sister Anu and killed her. Vedhesh was Vishvesh's elder son. Vishvesh was the one who sent me to prison with two life sentences. I didn't kill him just because he sent me to jail. He is a worse father who didn't raise his sons well. Both sons are evil and worthless to live with. If his father had been a nice person, we could have complained to him about his sons, but here, the father himself is evil. If he had raised his sons well, our Anu would not have died. She would be with us today. If we leave them, they would ruin many lives, like he ruined our family's happiness. He is unworthy to live on the earth. That's why I killed him."

"But, you..."

"I'm so happy and satisfied now. My mind was not at peace for all these years. After I got out of prison, I searched for them in Lucknow. But they were not there. When you told me about Khushi and her lawyer-uncle, I was on alert. I did not doubt that he was the same Vishvesh Sharma. So, that day I concluded that he should not be left alive."

They saw the police coming. The inspector saw an old man with a blood-dipped knife.

"Who is he?" The inspector asked.

"He is my father," Arnav said.

"I killed Vishvesh Sharma and Nithesh Sharma. They tried to kill my son. So, I killed them." Arvind told them daringly.

"Where are the others?" the inspector asked.

"They were in that room." Arnav pointed at Shashi's room.

The inspector opened the door. They saw Vishvesh Sahrma's men's hands and legs being tied by Khushi's men. They brought them out and handed them to the police. Vishvesh's men were horrified to see Arnav there. What was Arnav doing there? Did he come with Khushi to save her here, too? They remembered his hits they got at Dehradun. They hid behind one another, not wanting to look at him. Khushi's men already beat them up. In addition, Arnav was also there. Arnav searched for the graduate in their gang.

"Where is the graduate goon?" Arnav asked.

"He is not with us, sir," someone said.

"Not with you, mean? Where is he?"

"He went to his hometown to be with his mother, leaving this job."

"Job? Don't you have shame to mention what you are doing is a JOB?"

They scratched their head.

"Being humans, you should use your brains. He obeyed my words. So, he escaped from punishment. He hasn't had to go to jail."

They looked down.

"Your lawyer, for whom you worked, is dead. Who will get you out of jail now? Go and spend your life in jail."

The police took them out.

Arvind smiled at Arnav.

"I will try to get you out of the case, Papa."

Arvind smiled again.

"Take care of Khushi."

Arnav nodded.

"Khushi beta, thanks for being with my son."

Khushi nodded, feeling bad.

"Aman, Akash and NK, I'm going to jail, leaving my son here because I trust you. Be with him like, how you were with him when I went to jail for the first time." He rightfully ordered.

"We will look after him, Papa." They promised.

Arvind went with the police, leaving Arnav and Khushi emotional.

"I didn't know Vishvesh would have such a back story," Khushi said.

"Even I didn't know about it," Arnav said.

"Vishvesh once told my father that his elder son died in an accident," Khushi said.

"Is it?"

"Mmm... that day, my parents and I felt bad for him."

"He is a man full of lies," Arnav said.

Khushi nodded.

Arnav looked at Aman and said,

"I have to complete three months in college. Khushi will take over her father's business. You guys be with her."

"No, I will also come with you," Khushi said.

"But..."

"Until you are there at Dehradun, I will also be with you. We will come here after three months."

"Are you sure?"

"Mmm..."

Khushi looked at Aman.

"You and Lavanya will be safe here. My men will protect you because you are our friends if Lavanya's father does not step into this palace. Don't worry."

Aman nodded smilingly. Khushi looked at Maria and Bheem.

"I promised them. Be with them and make them comfortable here." She said.

"But, madam, how will we be here when you are in Dehradun?"

"Don't you know with whom I will be in Dehradun? I will be safe with Arnav. We don't have to bother about anyone, as our only enemy is dead. We will come back in three months."

Maria and Bheem nodded with no choice.

Leaving all the responsibility to Aman and co, Arnav and Khushi return to Dehradun. They finished dinner and came to bed.

"Why did you come with me? You should have stayed at Meerut."

"No way. What would I do at Meerut, leaving you here?"

"However, you are not going to complete your graduation. Then why do you come here?"

"Do I come here to complete my graduation? I came here to enjoy our honeymoon in the Dehradun climate. What a climate here...! I'm not ready to miss this chance."

Arnav rolled his eyes.

"Everything became all right. Only one thing is pricking me. Uncle..." She felt bad.

Arnav nodded.

"He should not have done that."

"No, Khushi, I don't think so. It was a deep anger. Seeing Vishvesh in front of him, he would have lost his patience. In addition, he tried to kill me. Then how could he be quiet? Vishvesh, like an evil man, is unworthy to even think of."

"You are right. Don't think about him..."

"Mmm..."

"How did Amana and Lavanya agree to come to Meerut?"

"I thought we needed some people by our side to stand against Vishvesh. When I asked Aman to come to Meerut, he readily agreed because he was not interested in settling in another country, leaving India behind. He always wanted to live with all his people. When I gave the assurance, he readily agreed."

"What about Lavanya?"

"She believes, in some days, her parents will accept her."

"Mmm... why don't we talk to her parents?"

"Not now. We will do that after a few days, after they have a child. Then, her parents will definitely consider it for the child, at least, if not for Lavanya."

"Mmm..."

"When will we have a child?" she asked cheesily.

Arnav was taken aback.

"Child? Are you serious?"

"Hello, I just asked, WHEN? It doesn't mean we will have a child right away."

Arnav sighed in relief.

"I don't want to have a child soon, before enjoying life with you."

"For how long?"

"Until I feel the need of a child."

"Let's see, when you will feel ready to have a child..."

"No urgency... we will have it after a few years."

"Yes, before that, complete your Master's. I'm glad that you are here. Listen to the lessons and study well. After that, we will come to Dehradun often and complete your master's."

"Haan... do you want me to study?"

"Then what? What are you going to do here?"

"I will romance with my husband."

Arnav rolled his eyes, smiling.

"You can romance with your husband anytime. He will not run anywhere. First, concentrate on your studies and study well."

"Varnie, I had never seen such an unromantic person like you. We just got married. And you are so keen to make me complete my Master's."

"Then what? Are you going to romance with me 24*7? However, I will be at college from ten to five. You will also be in college only. So, use the time usefully..."

"Varnie, you are so dumb..."

"Why?"

"You are talking as if I will be in college alone. You will also be there in college. Don't forget that."

"I don't know what you see in my face." He sighed.

Holding his face, Khushi clenched her jaw. Arnav widened his eyes.

"I don't see anything in your face, but see your face."

"Why?"

"To forget the world..." She smiled cheesily.

Arnav rolled his eyes.

"Ok...see my face... I'm going to sleep..."

"Sleep? Really? Do you think I will let you sleep?"

"Won't you?"

"No way..."

"What will you do?"

"I will do what I like to do..."

"I don't know how I will handle you in my whole life," he chuckled.

She hopped on him and circled his neck. They fell on the bed.

"This is how you should handle me," she bit his cheek.

"Sss..." he hissed, closing his eyes, smilingly.

"Don't you feel like biting me?" She asked.

"Of course, I feel like biting your chubby cheeks."

" Then why don't you bite?"

"Flowers are not meant to bite but to admire."

"Would you admire me?" she asked curiously.

"Why won't I admire you? After all, you are my wife." He wrapped her in his arms.

"Wow, Varnie, I can't believe what you say."

"Try to believe. Now, sleep. We should go to college tomorrow."

"Varnie, it's the second Saturday tomorrow. No college. We will be at home. Ooo hooo..." She shouted, falling on the bed cheerfully.

Arnav flipped and looked at her smilingly. How interested she was to be with him!

"Shall we go somewhere tomorrow?" Arnav asked.

She flipped to his side and said,

"Varnie, we will be here for the next three months. Why should we waste tomorrow? We will go on an outing another day."

"What are you going to do being home?"

She knelt on the bed and sang,

"Nachenge, Gaaenge, Aish Karenge, aur kya? (will sing, dance, enjoy, what else?)"

Arnav smiled. She lay close to him and put her leg on him.

"You know what, Khushi, my life was like a black and white picture. After you came to me like an ARTIST, my life became colourful. I never expected I would enjoy my life like this."

"Are you enjoying?"

"Two hundred per cent." He kissed her forehead, lovingly.

"I promise, our life will always be like this, no matter what."

Khushi looked at him smilingly and hugged him, burying her face in his chest. Arnav wrapped her in his arms tenderly.
