"Hehe, what's up?"
"You! You aren't talking in zomblish anymore!" Yeonjun exclaimed.
"Uh, yeah, I have no idea why." Beomgyu shrugged.
"Did you perhaps smell a zombie nearby? Those guys stink." Taehyun states.
"Nah, but I did find that whole sibling fight ridiculous-"
"Wow. So the way to make the zombie people sober again is to make them realize how ridiculous they are??" Soobin questioned.
"Ridiculous indeed.." Huening Kai nods to himself.
"I don't think that's exactly the case.. haha.." Kyuchul chuckles at their theory.
Beomgyu put a hand to silence them, so they all stop talking. Soon after, Layla's big sister came back into the room looking all dejected.
They watched as she opened a giant toolbox. More like a chest, but that's the same thiiingg..
Lyla took what looked like a syringe and a vial, closing the toolbox once getting her hands on the goodies. She then left the room again, allowing everyone to speak once more.
"What was that all about?" Soobin asked.
"I think she's gonna do something sus." Huening said in a surmising way.
"I wanna open it!" Beomgyu jumped out of his hiding spot and ran straight for the toolbox.
"Hey! Careful!" Taehyun ran out after him.
"Uhhh, shouldn't we keep hiding?!" Kyuchul exclaimed.
"I say we keep hiding. Let's just wait and see what happens." Yeonjun mischievously laughs.
Beomgyu managed to open the toolbox since Lyla was stupid enough to not put a lock on this thing.
"Ehh, there's not much in here. Just a bunch of medical stuff I don't know the name of.. and a bat??" He took out the bat, the animal.
"Heh, it's pretty cute." Taehyun says.
"Says the guy who likes exotic pets." Huening states.
"Hey. At least Hobak isn't an exotic pet." He huffs, defending himself.
"I believe he's talking about Aengdu." Yeonjun chuckles.
"Either way, I love his pets.. in a way." Beomgyu grins.
"And you can't be talking either. You have a parrot." Yeonjun states.
"Oh what evah!" Beomgyu rolled his eyes.
"You got any idea what they're talking about?" Kyuchul asked Soobin who was quietly listening.
"Nope, I just joined the friend group a couple days ago. You too?"
"Of course."
"..anyways, back to real business. We should probably go find Layla, seeing how she might want to stop whatever her sister is doing." Taehyun says.
"Yeah, and she might be our best shot at saving the world. She knows a lot more about this infection more than we do." Yeonjun adds.
"But didn't she also say she had no idea this experiment would turn everyone into zombies?" Huening questions.
"Yeah she did. But hey, it might be better to have her join us?" Beomgyu says.
"I think we should ask her. If she doesn't wanna join then she doesnt have to." Kyuchul says.
"Orrr we make her join us with force!" Beomgyu gleams.
"I like that idea better. Let's make her join us whether she wants to or not! Her fault for starting this in the first place."
"That's funny. Like you guys could ever force me to do something." Layla's voice said from behind them.
"Oh shi- hi Layla! We totally weren't just talking about you!!" Huening greets her.
"Hm. Hi handsome, long time no see." Layla replied.
"Dang. For someone who's been forced to create a zombie apocalypse, you sure have an obsession with Kai." Taehyun states.
"What can I say? He's my type." Layla groans. "So, what did you guys wanna do?"
"Save the world!" Beomgyu exclaims happily.
"Yeah, but in what way and how would you do that? My sister knows everything and everyone who isn't turned into her weird creation."
"We have a hoard of zombies who only listen to me." Taehyun says.
"Right, and what would a hoard of zombies be able to do against an evil scientist..?" Layla questions.
"Mmm, perhaps distract an evil scientist from continuing their goal. Cause her to stop for a minute once she realizes they all have a mind of their own now." He explained.
"Eh, sounds complicated."
"What's so complicated about that??" Taehyun raised a brow at Layla's sudden stupidity.
"Nothing- just- whatever! Let's just do the plan already! Lyla is gonna get on the plane tomorrow and then it'd be over." Layla exclaims.
"Tsk, tsk. Don't underestimate a genius." Beomgyu puts an arm over his boyfriend's shoulder.
Taehyun just shrugged with a cheeky grin.
"Alright people! Let's move!"
