Chapter four
"Johnny?" Taehyun pokes the mentioned guy's arm. 15 times.
"Yeah?" Johnny answered after a while.
"I want the stuff." He whines.
"What's the stuff?"
"Ramen."
"Oh." Johnny looks at him in disbelief. "That's it? Not.. drugs or anything?"
"What? No. Drugs are bad for you. Don't do drugs kids."
"Exactly, drugs are bad for you. That's why I asked what it was. Thank god it wasn't drugs." He sighed in relief.
"Yooo brooo!" Mark says, appearing out of nowhere.
"Ya?? What is it dude?" Johnny questioned the new boy.
"Did you hear about the new watermelon lore?"
Johnny sighed, not in the mood to go through this again.
"What about the watermelons?" Taehyun titled his head.
"Apparently there isn't actually water in them at all! It's all just a myth! I'm so disappointed, I love watermelon man." Mark frowned.
"I think you're going to be ok." Johnny patted his back.
"Soo.. are you gonna go get me the stuff?" Taehyun asked.
"We back at this again?" Johnny groaned in annoyance. Why did he have to deal with all these idiots?
"Um.. I'm not even gonna ask." Mark then leaves the scene.
"You'll get me the stuff, right?" Taehyun repeats himself.
"Uh, no. Why should I?" Johnny questions.
"Cause you're my bestieee!" Taehyun blinks his eyes innocently, leaning closer by the second.
"I'm sorry, we just met like, 5 minutes ago-" Johnny backs away from this shorty.
"Pleaseeee? Pretty please with cherries on top?"
"What do I have to do to get whatever that stuff is...?" Johnny asks.
"Go to the store?" Taehyun says as if it were obvious.
"Cant you go there yourself..?" Johnny raised a brow in confusion.
"Um.. I may or may not have been banned from every store on the block." Taehyun says nonchalantly.
"What on earth.. how is that even possible?"
"Ohh! So you see, I tried to get the stuff by trading it with pizza rolls that were practically half the price of ramen, and apparently that's called a scam so I got kicked out of the store. Word got out and the whole block found out and now I'm banned from all those stores. Damn, this sticker sure is powerful." Taehyun explained, removing the 'You're Banned' sticker from his forehead, which was hidden behind his hair.
"Bro... no way. You kept that sticker on your head going into other stores? No wonder you got banned by all of them." Johnny face palmed himself. "This idiot.." he mumbles.
"So now will you get me the stuff??" Taehyun says, his eyes beaming with hope.
"..ugh, fine! But you owe me."
"Yes! I'll get you whatever you want for this!"
"A Bugatti?"
"Sure. I have the money for that."
"Huh? I was just joking." Johnny says.
"I'll get you a Hellcat if it makes it any better?" Taehyun suggests.
"The heck?? Where do you get this money? And why didn't you just buy the ramen when you could??"
"It tastes better when you steal it from someone..."
"..well then. See ya." Johnny leaves to the store.
"Yus!" Taehyun happily skips to his house. The moment he reached his room, he passed out on his bed.
Later, he suddenly woke up around 6am, in cold sweat.
"Aw nah, am I late for school?!" He hurried to get ready and straight to his daily routine he went.
He ran out of his house, only to be stopped by Huening Kai. "Hey, Taehyun!"
"What did I say? We aren't friends." Taehyun glared at him.
Huening Kai ignored him. "So! What are you up to?"
"About to go to school. Might tackle Johnny later so he can get me what I want. Whatever it was again."
"Meh. I have no idea." Huening shrugs. "Oh lookie! We're at the school gates already!" He laughs by himself.
"Oh great!" Taehyun takes a step forward a paused. "Meh, I feel like skipping today." He turned around and walked away.
"Lol, you said that yesterday." Kai follows him.
