Lady Nasrin

Lady Nasrin (1)

Linklovecat

This is a story from a very, very long time ago....

To the extent that almost everyone forgot about it in the historical timeline of the Empire...

But in the days of National Day, or in the history classes in the academy, you can still see that story again....

A story about a girl who wants to be forgotten...

The Great Lady of the Empire of Capitosita....

Empress Nova

Or "Lady Nasrin"

................................ ................................. ..........................

"Nasrin"

"Hmmm, why did you mention Nasrin?"

In the familiar reading room of Villa Rosita , a young lady with black hair from the Southern Beta people was sitting on an armchair on a spring afternoon . This young lady was really beautiful, a wild beauty, her lips as red as roses were pressed tightly together because she was so absorbed in the conversation. Her complexion was not as white as the other ladies in the Empire. , a healthy dark skinned Southerner. In a purple dress that reached to her feet, the top was elaborately decorated with eye-catching motifs made her look very attractive. It was Violetta, the daughter of Duke Dienocardo Vademir's first wife. She was reading a new romance novel that was popular among the aristocracy these days. Standing opposite her, leaning against a bookshelf, was the noble Duke Dienocardo of the great Anasita Empire.

Maybe we have to go back a bit on the history of the Vademir family...

Duke Dienocardo is the 17th generation of the Vademir family, his mother is the Princess of Anasita. She is the reward that the King bestowed on the previous Duke for his feat of unifying the country. Dienocardo from a young age inherited his father's fighting ability and his mother's flawless beauty . It would be an understatement to say he was an outstanding person. And like so many other upper-class men, Dienocardo was married at the age of 18 to Princess Beta by the Emperor's arrangement. The Church calling Dienocardo a pious lamb, and the Royal Family calling the Duke a loyal dog is not an exaggeration.

But ....

Dienocardo feels that his life is always missing something inexplicable

He was not satisfied with his first marriage to Princess Beta

So he quickly entered into a second marriage, this time to a lady he truly loved - the frail Lady Marrie of the little marquis house.

Ironically, Marrie's physical condition soon deteriorated when she gave birth to his second daughter, and she passed away.

During a visit , Dienocardo saw his wife in a young prostitute and took her as his wife against the opposition of the family .

Dienocardo had four wives and four daughters. But he never recognized the fourth woman and the fourth daughter as his family.

Because in the eyes of the Duke, they are a disgrace...

" Nasrin " is the daughter of the fourth wife .

..............................

The Duke's silver hair was tied up neatly to reveal the arch of his forehead and the wrinkles on his face that had aged with age. But he was still very energetic for his age, he was still able to ride horses, go for walks, read books and beat an inexperienced young knight. He is spending the little time of his schedule with his first daughter in the library. But there was something he always felt uneasy about.

Right ...

Nasrin, that child....

Just thinking about it made his stomach growl...

Violetta stared at him as she heard the name come out of his mouth with difficulty. The duke was now avoiding saying that name like a wretched human running away from a deadly pandemic knowing it was always near.

Violetta did not dare to disobey him. The living expenses, food, and dresses she got were all because she was favored by the Duke, and she knew that this favored position could disappear at any moment if she started defending Nasrin.

"That little girl... she ran away again..."

In his hoarse voice , the Duke mumbled , his face darkening with anger , the lines becoming more visible .

"She must have gone to deliver things, didn't you tell her so?"

Violetta pleased  her father while still looking at the book. She couldn't speak for Nasrin in front of her father. Violetta didn't exactly feel hatred towards her, but she also couldn't disobey her father because of this younger sister. What she felt when she looked at Nasrin other than a sense of indifference was pity for the daughter abandoned by her father.

"That Nasrin girl, I heard that she has a shady relationship with the servants in this house..."

Violetta's eyes lit up when she heard the news, it was a look that couldn't hide both curiosity and interest. She seemed to have found a new topic to talk to the other ladies during afternoon tea, the forbidden love story between the knight and the lady was like a romance novel. Different from her reaction , the duke was not satisfied at all , he looked like he just wanted to tear someone into a hundred pieces . No one wants their daughter to be shady with a servant.

"Probably Nasrin, that child is also old enough to be in love, dad. She's almost 19 years old now..."

" Damn ... that child , wasn't her birth enough to humiliate us , but now she is flirting with men in this house . It's true like mother and daughter , I should have cut hers two legs off so she can't walk anymore"

" If Nasrin were to become pregnant, it would be impossible to arrange a marriage with the Marquis, Father."

"Violeta, my dear daughter, you know what to do."

The duke looked at his daughter smugly, for him, Violetta was like a faithful and reliable puppet. He believes that the money he gives her every year to live a luxurious life will keep her tied to his control forever.

Violetta looked at him, her blue eyes knowing what he was thinking. She smiled, calling herself a fool, knowing that she would never escape from this man, but she charged in like a moth to the flames of hell.

Like her mother, who was blindsided by the Duke's fortune until the very end....

But they say, if you can't run away, smile and accept it with your deepest heart.

"Yes, Father"

If there's anything Violetta has ever identified with Nasrin, it's that they'll never stop dancing like wooden puppets in the hands of this cunning man...
