❝The picture of us is fading,
But I'm denying this reality.
Even when I close my eyes, I can still see you, why?
Leave me alone!
I'm breaking down.❞

"Wake up you lazy asses! Breakfast has been prepared, stuff it in your faces, quickly quickly quickly!" Auntie Yae's voice echoed through the halls of the mansion, she took a spatula and banged it loudly on a pan.
(this was how we were woken up during my camping trip- i swear it was annoying but so oddly funny)
"The sun's up! RISE AND SHINE!" She continued shouting.
"WE'RE UP!!!" They all shouted back from their rooms.
From nowhere, Auntie Yae took out a megaphone and spoke into it, "I expect you all to be at the dining table in fifteen minutes! Chop chop!"
"Are we in a military base or something?" Hana rubbed her tired eyes, getting up to get ready.
There was a sudden knock on the girl's room so Hyerim went to get it.
A wild group of boys barged into the room.
"Good morning, ladies," Seokmin smiled cheekily and jumped on the bed before getting his face hit by a pillow.
"You can't just charge into the girls' room like this, what if we were changing!" Mihae threw a pillow at Mingyu.
"So what? We're a family, it's fine seeing each other change," Mingyu smile jokingly just to get a whole batch of pillows flying towards his face.
"KIM MINGYU!! YOU WANNA DIE?!" Mihae chased him around the room with a toothbrush in her mouth.
"Tell us the truth," Yeonha crossed her arm and held out a tube of toothpaste with a smirk, "You're out of toothpaste again, aren't you?"
The boys laughed nervously, as it was way too true.
"Aish do you guys drink toothpaste instead of water or something?!" Hyerim groaned.
Jun suddenly asked, catching everyone's attention, "Hey, where's Eunbyul?"
"Huh, that's weird. She's always the last and most difficult to wake up," Hyerim squinted her brows.
"Maybe she didn't sleep last night and is already downstairs?" Chan shrugged.
"Oh shoot! That reminds me," Yeonha threw the toothpaste tube towards the boys, Wonwoo caught it while the boys gave her weird looks, "Go get ready. Knowing Auntie Yae, she's going to put away the food if we don't get downstairs in time, and I don't want to starve until lunch."
That was all it took for the boys to rush back to their room.
"Sometimes, I think they've been starved for decades," Hana rolled her eyes jokingly before going into the bathroom.
After approximately ten minutes, they all were gathered downstairs.
"Let's eat!" Seungcheol declared before they all dove into the food.
"Honestly, the food here is even better than Mingyu's," Wonwoo joked happily, placing the piece of meat in his mouth.
"Rude," Mingyu mumbled.
They all soon finished their meal and went to the living room.
"Attendance!" Hyerim shouted, borrowing Auntie Yae's megaphone.
They all lined up and counted, from one to seventeen.
"Huh? One's missing?" Joshua quirked his brows, recounting over again.
After observation, Auntie Yae realized, "Oh yeah, where's Esther?"
"Wait, I thought she woke up before us?" Jun replied.
It was until then, everyone knew there was something odd. They knew Eunbyul very well, especially the girls. She's the type of person who would never go out alone for no reason, not even for walks or such, only when she needs to get something. They also know for sure that Eunbyul has no friends or acquaintances in America, nor does she has any other reason to go out without telling someone.
"I haven't seen her all morning. I thought she's still sleeping," Auntie Yae sounded confused, as she too understood her niece, maybe more than anyone else.
Almost immediately, Hyerim took out her phone and dialed Eunbyul's number.
A moment of silence passed, everyone anxiously waited for an answer.
Unexpectedly, the familiar ring tone was heard from behind.
Hyerim dropped her phone, her and everyone's mouth agape.
"Eunbyul...she would never leave her phone behind like this..." Jihoon picked up Eunbyul's phone from the counter.
After it all happened, Auntie Yae spoke to her butler with a shaky voice, "Call my agency I won't be joining the meeting today."
She turned to the boys and pointed at Seungcheol, who already has his driver's license, "Go start the car!"

-Eunbyul's POV-
Pancake and... waffles?
My eyes shot wide as I smelt the food.
But once I sat up, I felt a sharp pain on my head. Reaching to touch the pained area, I realized my head was bandaged.
Huh? Why though? What happened?
Wait... where am I?
I looked around the odd room I was lying in.
It was exactly like those princess rooms I saw in movies.
I was lying on a light pink bed, with white silk pillows. The room looked extremely fancy, I felt like an actual princess.
But why am I here? Where is "here"? How and when did I get my head-injured?
The more I thought, the more my head throbbed in pain. I couldn't remember anything.
W-Who am I???
Wait...
I'm Lee Eunbyul, 17 years old, lives in Seoul, and is friends with a group of awesome girls and a group of goofballs.
Okay, thank God I still remember myself. Although I couldn't recall what happened yesterday, it was more of a blur.
I stepped down from the giant bed and noticed that I was wearing a nightgown.
Not going to lie, the gown was so comfortable and somewhat cute.
Still, I couldn't figure out how I got into the whole princess situation.
Or am I still dreaming? Probably not, I was woken up by the smell of food.
All of a sudden, the room's door bust open. 5... no, 10 people ran into my room, arm carrying silver trays, charging towards me. I sat on the bed, absolutely dumbstruck.
"My lady, your breakfast is served," a man who's all fancily dressed up showed me the foods they prepared.
Pancakes, waffles, cookies... you name it, they have it.
Well, unfortunately for them, I don't usually eat snacks like these. Though, I would say this would be a paradise to the other girls. As for me, I was in total panic.
"Who are you people?!" I yelled.
"We are here to serve you as ordered, my lady," the man, who I assume is the butler, answered calmly, in contrary with my panicky screams.
"Who ordered?!"
"I did," a woman's voice caught everyone's attention.
The people, who I'm pretty sure are the servants, bow down once this woman is present in the room.
I scanned her from head to toe. She looked like she's in her 40s, she was wearing a colorful floral dress with dangling earrings. Basically, the total opposite of what Auntie Yae usually wears - plain tee and jeans.
I stared at her for a while, there was something oddly familiar about this woman but I had no idea why.
"Who are you?" I asked blankly, as nothing was going through my mind at that point.
She smiled, "I saw you sleeping outside of my home at night with a wound behind your head, I was afraid you would be freezed to death by sunrise so I took you into one of the bedrooms."
Nothing can even make this situation more confusing. What was I doing in the middle of the night in front of this seems-to-be nice lady with an injury on my head?!
"Oh my... I'm terribly sorry. I don't remember anything," I stuttered. Did I lose my short-term memory?
"It's okay dear, have some breakfast then you can go home if you want," she kindly offered.
"But may I ask where I am?" I asked, shy and intimidated by this awfully nice lady.
"New York, dear."
"But where in New York?" I continuously asked, yearning for a way back home.
"Um, do you know where your house is? It's quite difficult to explain," she frowned.
"I-I really don't know," my eyes saddened. How did I get here?
"Can you contact your family?"
Then, I stood up immediately, searching for my phone. I searched under the pillows, in the nightstand drawers, everywhere. Nothing.
"Oh no, I've lost my phone too?!" I panicked, roaming all over the room.
"Well, do you at least remember any of your family's phone number?"
And that's when it hit me. I don't remember anything at all at that point. My head started aching. I held onto the wound and felt my limbs weakening.
"Child!" The woman gasped and held my arm to support my body.
She and some of the helpers guided me back on the bed.
"Have some breakfast and we'll talk about this later," then she turned to her house helpers, "place the food here and give her some time alone."
She patted my shoulder and whispered, "Eat the breakfast and then change into that dress I've prepared for you over there. Find me in the living room whenever you want to."
I nodded to her, my eyes glistened with tears. I was in a panic mode I could not control.
Soon after, she and all the other servants left the room leaving me all alone. I have never felt so scared in my life. The fact that I did not remember anything that had happened the previous night was already causing me to have a breakdown.
Though I honestly didn't want to, my stomach was constantly growling, so I had to have the breakfast that nice lady had prepared for me. Either I die from hidden poison inside the food strangers give me or I die of starvation. It's worth the risk.
The pancakes were undeniably delicious, but I couldn't stop to savor it to the fullest, I wanted to go home. Right after I finished eating, I hesitated on whether I should or should not change into the clothes that person prepared.
After some thought, I just decided to just change into it, I can't go walking around wearing this nightgown, this is a fancy palace anyways, I don't want people here to judge me.
Fortunately for me, it wasn't as princess-like as I initially thought. Just a simple white dress with a pink large coat.
I gathered all my courage to walk out of the room and find my way to the giant staircase.
Though I couldn't find the lady anywhere, and I didn't dare to ask the people walking around. So my only way is to walk around the place.
There was this big glass door which leads to what I think was the garden. I gathered my courage and went to the garden, "Maybe the lady is out here," I mumbled.
The green grass and the magical colors of the flowers made me feel so peaceful.
All of a sudden, I heard a male voice behind me. I turned only to see a good-looking guy in simple clothing, looking at me with a smile.
"You must be new here."
Hell yeah I am.
