"Why though Eunbyul?! You've always been so excited about composing songs! You wrote What is Love for JYP Academy, and WeeWoo also Get It for Pristin sunbaenims, why'd you declined this time??"
Uh because I don't want to get judged by newly famous people in the school, resulting in the whole school judging and laughing at me, duh.
The boys went home before us, so it was only us four.
I looked around carefully, making sure no one else was there.
I took out a post-it note and wrote:
I'm just not in the mood this time, sorry~
And yes, of course, I knew sign language, but only Hyerim unnie understands it fully, the other two won't understand a single sign I give.
They sighed after reading my note.
"Alright, we'll respect your decision, but really, we were really looking forward to hearing the new song that you said you were working on, oh well, next time then."

They waved me goodbye after they walked me out of the school.
I was on my way home, but first, groceries.
The moment I got inside, I saw a crowded group, and I instantly knew who by a loud scream.
"I TOLD YOU STRAWBERRY MILK IS BETTER THAN BANANA MILK!"
"But hyung~ I like banana milk better!"
"Hey there Eunbyul noona~"
Right after Lee Chan greeted me, their attention drew to me.
Great, they saw me.
I smiled awkwardly at them and waved.
"Oh hey, you're buying groceries too?" Joshua asked handing me a basket, being the gentleman he is.
I simply nodded, because obviously, I can't say thank you or something.
All I could think of was: Holly shiz!! What if they find out I'm mute?!?
But I kept my cool.

After I've got all my stuff, I was about to wave them goodbye and walk home.
But guess what.
"Hey! I'll walk you home, it's pretty late already," Mingyu smiled sheepishly.
It's actually not, only 6 pm, but I think I shouldn't say anything.
I can't anyways.
I nodded shyly and just walked with him.
"You don't talk much, don't you?" He asked out of the blue making me kind of panicked.
I remained calm and nodded.
"Why though? Is it because you don't like us?"
I stopped my track. He did as well.
He was starting at me quite concerned as I left out a long sigh.
But I smiled afterward, reassuring him after seeing him so confused and worried.
I took out my phone and pressed on Notes.
I typed in quickly and showed him:
It's nothing, I don't hate you guys at all, you are all super nice! I'm just voiceless and I don't really want you guys to know, that's all. Sorry for worrying you!
He stared at my phone and me, speechless.
I knew it, he would judge me-
"Why didn't you just tell us? We discussed earlier thinking you hated us!"
I giggled then typed in:
Sorry, I was just scared you guys would judge me and think of me the wrong way.
He read it really fast and literally yelled at me.
"Are you kidding me?! Why would we do that! I have a cousin that's deaf, so I even know sign language, why in the world would I judge you for having no voice?"
Oops.
I guessed I thought of it too much.
I stopped typing on my phone and put it in my pocket.
I tried to test him, to see if he was really telling the truth.
I started moving my hands, to send a message to him.
And I guess he really does know sign language.
He started laughing his butt out while my face felt so hot.
I was basically cursing myself for not choosing a more appropriate message.
"Why would you say 'There is a party in my pants and you are not invited'?"
That was the very first thing I learned though.
I hit his shoulder lightly and signaled him not to tell anyone about my little secret.
"Huh? Why? They won't judge you or anything."
I shook my head and told him I would tell them when I'm ready.
He sighed but agreed.
Walking home, I felt safe and happy to have his company now that he knows I am not a normal person.
When we reached home, I totally forgot about Luna.
She jumped out and landed on Mingyu right when I opened the door.
So basically, Luna was tackling Mingyu with licks and love.
"Aw it's so cute!~ What's its name?" He asked while still being attacked.
I used sign language and told him her name was Luna.
"Aw, that's so cute!"
Wow, a puppy complimenting another puppy while the other puppy is on top of the puppy complimenting the other puppy.
*BOOMBOOM*
Did my brain just explode?
I signaled him telling him I was tired and needed some sleep.
He smiled understanding, "Oh okay, I'll leave now, bye, for now, Eunbyul, really looking forward to your song for the competition!"
I guessed he hadn't known yet.
I smiled and carried Luna while he was waving at Luna saying goodbye.
He is so cute aww
Oh right, about the competition...
I have no idea.
I have a bunch of draft songs and still haven't had the chance to finish them.
But I guess if Mingyu was okay with my condition maybe the others will too?
I don't know and now, I don't care-
