This is a story about a young girl name Zeit who is just an ordinary human girl with an ordinary life and that's all she had known ever since she was a small child.
She grew up in an ordinary village just next to a magically never ending river (or so they said) ,she was raised by the villagers there with her beloved best friend .Zeit never knew of her real parents and lives alone within her home , yet she never questions it ,because to her the village was already her family, her home.
Zeit's best friend, Lisa who's like a sister to her is a very caring person , always staying beside her and good at giving advices .Lisa is also quirky and in all circumstances she would be able to make Zeit happy , one hell of a sister if i must say so. Zeit and Lisa walks to school almost everyday, passing the river ,through their favorite shortcut alley and jumping down the vault,they would perform such routine for without a miss ,both going and returning from school.
Zeit's first incident happened on one day when Zeit and Lisa was in the library looking for books about the ancient wars, a war that happened billions of years ago ,the story about the brave , the survivors filled with magic and science or so was written in the book, to Zeit this was Hoax a 100% fake but Lisa disagrees , it's history she said ."You're just giving me some weird Fiction Novel aren't you Lisa" Zeit doubted . Eventually Lisa made Zeit borrow the book back to her home to read it. At night , after Zeit finished the book she soon found out the last page was actually a secret cabinet in hold of a diamond, the diamond showed a reaction to Zeit and lit up, but for some reason because Zeit's weird she didn't pay a mind to it instead she closed a book and forgot everything and would return the book back to the library the next day . However things didn't go the way it was planned . As Zeit and Lisa follow their everyday path to the school's library, passing the river ,through their favorite shortcut alley and jumping down the vault. But then they saw two suspicious masked men vandalizing the village's source pipe ,and was caught in trouble . The two men attacked them , knocked out Lisa and cornered Zeit . Holy Hell this feels so wrong. However just in the heat of the moment ,suddenly Zeit's "Borrowed History Books About Weird People Using Magic And Stuff The Special Version" lit up and emitted a light so bright it would blind the two hooligans and scared them off. Eventually Lisa came to her senses and Zeit tried to explain what happened , Lisa understood almost immediately and told Zeit it was nothing to worry about . After that, Lisa and Zeit managed to return the book back to the library , but Zeit somewhat took the diamond within the last page with her before dropping the book back in the cabinet.
Just a few days after the incident , Zeit walked to school wearing a new hairpin ,a diamond shaped hairpin with a glow in the middle ,the details on the hairpin looked exactly like that of a Gem , however when touched it's metal. No one seemed to notice it was there on her head, how strange she thought, maybe it wasn't that much of a big deal. As Zeit and Lisa walked down the school corridor they soon encountered a halfling between a פוקס and a human, she had a big pair of fox ears and a fluffy tail moving to the side. The girl showed a cold glare toward the two, that alone sent chills follow down to their spines, the two girl decided to walk pass the girl and try to avoid any eye contact , but then Lisa grinned :"have you heard of the rumors about a specific thief within the school's campus?" Zeit peaked behind to see the girl but she was gone, nowhere to be seen. This immediately sets off an alarm within her , she knew something wrong, and as she tried to look back front, infront of her was a dark shadow of a fox jumping straight at her from the top right corner of the corridor. Zeit thought it was all over, but as she opened her eyes , she saw the fox girl froze in the air , sharp white teeth of a gaping mouth , long sharp nails aiming straight for her throat, she was one step away from being ripped apart. Zeit soon understood that this was time stopping and she was the only one who could move ,interesting she thought. Zeit could interact with object, people and move them at will without them even noticing . Zeit came up with a plan and started moving the fox girl to the infirmary just within the hall and tied her to the bed , it looked kinda suggestive to be honest. Anyways ,after countless taping and bending things over Zeit managed to neutralize the fox girl. But now Zeit's only question is, how will she be able to make things go back to normal? Zeit suddenly felt a warm heat on her head, it was the hairpin, it was over-heating like a light bulb , Zeit gently took it off and shook it a bit like a thermometer, somehow it worked and she could feel time moving again. "Woah..when did we enter the infirmary?" Lisa asked in confusion but soon turned her attention towards the poor fox girl struggling to get out of the countless layers of bandages holding her down on the bed."Hey let me go! i haven't done anything to you yet!!" The girl screamed. Her name was M'fortu but some people just call her "Misfortune", because everywhere she goes she would bring literally misfortune to others so it'd been advised to not cross path with her if you don't want bad luck to occur. Zeit tried to reason with her and find out why she attacked them but, she's already asleep. "gosh darn it" Zeit thought ,knowing she was taught to not wake up people when they're sleeping ,especially strangers so they decided to skiddadle out of the infirmary and ask her another day
With all the supernatural phenomenons happening ,Zeit can't help but wonder, what is this ? How is this happening? But she tend to keep it all a secret ,even her best friend Lisa couldn't know about .It all started with the book she borrowed from the library, maybe it's a lead, the hairpin she was wearing on her head was none other than the diamond on the last page of the book and maybe there's magic within the metal scrap. "How interesting" as she hold the diamond within her hand. "maybe i should polish it" as she wipe it with the her shirt ."Whatcha rubbin down there" Lisa suddenly popped up , startling Zeit ,"watcha got there" she approaches and forces Zeit's hands to open in a mere second."shiet" Zeit thought.As Lisa look inside Zeit's hands , a strange grin could be shown on her face,"awww there's nothing here" .Wait what? So Lisa can't see the piece of Metal,or more specifically no one could see it , it's invisible to the mortal eye. Zeit sighed in relife,
Oh well, guess it's nothing . After that, Zeit went home and tried to re-summon the time stopping power again but nothing happened, she felt nothing and the gem doesn't respond back , "this is getting tiresome" she thought . Zeit tries to rub the gem again to see if a genie could be called ,but no ,that's not how it works .She got tired and decided to go to bed ,but then suddenly a giant blue portal opened and inside came a giant armored hand "Yo!" ,the hand spoke "you wanna know how that thing works huh? Well don't worry about it , becauuuuseeee i'll help yuuu" and then the arm goes back in the portal and closes it ."The heck just happened".Zeit thought for a second , she took out a marker and wrote "Uhr" on it , she wanted to write something to mark that it's hers (knowing she stole it from a library book) . If nothing makes sense , she would give it a meaning ,or so she thought.
It was a normal day in class, the sun was so hot you could fry eggs on the sidewalk , Zeit sat on her desk like any other day , then suddenly a weird person came into her life, again. A blonde girl with a smile even brighter than the sun , she wore the school's uniform same as Zeit and Lisa ,long golden hair let down on her back, dark stockings and a small cinchpack at her waist .She has a cute voice "Yo!" ,everything was perfect except...she was missing a left shoe."This is Alice and she transferred to our class from the city, and yes..don't mind her left foot , it's nothing strange, she's strange. Be nice to each other now" The teacher said .Right! It's nothing weird at all . The girl went next to Zeit get her seat , she gracefully sat on the chair next to Zeit and casually say the most formal line a lady would say when she's greeting oneself "You must be the orphan! Nice to meet you" .Yup , nothing wrong about that Zeit thought ,just a normal greeting line any rich person would make "You can call me Classmate A" Zeit said with her normal sarcastic tone. Alice laughed alittle "Oh don't be so modest, i'm not a noble or anyone important like that, you can call me Alice, silly" ,And thus another bond was established between two girls. After that Zeit gained an interest in Alice and tried to gather information about her ,she found nothing , Alice seems to just fall from the sky and safelanded in her own desk. How strange,Zeit thought "well she's not really from here , so guess it's fine" ,it's really nothing but something about her just didn't feel right ,the way she's dressed ,the way she talk somehow felt a bit familiar .As Zeit kept thinking two silhouette started moving towards her
"Hey Foot Solo -get back here with my lunch!!" -"Come and get it , sweetie!" ...Oh, it's the tsundere fox and the humorous ojou-sama ,guess they're just having a little tag .
Just when Zeit was about to come and say hi- Her phone started ringing .something feels wrong about this ,everything started blackening and she could feel the sweat coming from her palms ,something's not right about this phone call , it sent shivers down her spine , images of dark figures started appearing in her mind ,but there was no sound,the phone kept ringing and ringing ,Zeit decided to pick up the phone -"Hello?" -voices could be heard ,screams ,gunshots and horrific noises, Zeit turned off the call immediately,she felt tense and afraid.Then Lisa Appeared out of Nowhere "Hey Zeit"-
"ShhhReeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkk~" Zeit let out a small screech from startling "You scared me". What was that just now, she could still feel the aftermath, it somewhat sounded like a battlefield,in war .Is this what they call "A Vietnam Flashback"
