So for those who don't know Ruyaa12, she's an amazing poet. Amazing doesn't even justify her talent. I don't have words for how awesome she is, Ma sha Allah Barak Allahu Feeha ♥️
I am not a huge fan of poetry, but I adore hers. And I've always thought of handlettering some of her verses. Without much ado, here's one of my favourites from her collection Poetic Blues.
Not my best attempt, and definitely doesn't do justice to what she has written. I've become a bit rusty because I haven't painted in a while 🙊
Anywho, isn't her poetry beautiful? This is number 49 from her collection. There are plenty of more beautiful words that she has written! Do go and read ^_^
