Chapter 0: A Fresh Start?
I am currently on a roof just sleeping when i hear my friend Ava's voice.
"Neo. Wake up. We need to talk." She explains but I know the tone.
She is about to yell at me again.
I open my eyes and glare at her.
"What do you want?" I ask in my usual rude angry tone.
Ava narrows her eyes at me.
"You sent two more people to the medic wing again, Neo. What did these people do to you that made you feel as though they deserved to be seriously hurt?" She asks me in serious tone.
I groan angrily.
"They interrupted my dinner last night. I had to teach them a lesson." I simply tell her as I sit up.
Ava sighs in a disappointed way.
"That is a very poor reason to almost kill people for, Neo." She tells me as she runs her hand through her hair.
"I think it's time we move. Maybe new surroundings can help you become better." She continues. I look at her in confusion.
"Where exactly do you want to take us?" I ask her as I cross my arms.
Ava looks as though she's thinking then her eyes light up.
"How about the city of Atlantide? I hear it's a nice place." She says with a smile.
I look at her with narrowed eyes.
I sigh in annoyance.
"Whatever. I don't care." I simply say. Standing up, I brush myself off.
I then start walking towards the house so I can pack.
Ava's footsteps could be heard coming behind me.
"Wait for me, Neo!" She orders in a stern voice.
I roll my eyes at her.
