We drove for a little bit till we got to a huge farm on the country side. There were a group of people waiting outside. An older couple which I'm guessing were his parents. A boy that looked a lot like Bane which had to be his brother with a girl with blond hair latched to him. A younger girl sitting on the railing and an older man. Grandfather parked the car a got out.
"Hello Greg and I didn't expected to see you here Hain." He greeted them.
"Well I heard you made a success figured I should see it for myself." The older man smiled when I got out.
"This must be your granddaughter she's lovely." He said.
"Deary are you coming out or do you plan to stay in there the whole time." I joked, when he got out.
"I'm right here don't have a cow." He replied, leaning down and kissing my cheek.
"Why you gotta be so tall for real your like a foot and five inches taller then me." I teased, when I noticed they were all staring in disbeilf.
"Wait is that Bane?" His father asked, my grandfather nodded. When I took his hat and put it on. He chuckled.
"Damn I didn't even recognize you bro you got huge I'm proud of you we might make a fine hunter out of you yet." His brother smiled.
"Ya well I need to make time for my partner to take care of her. I owe her my life. Plus I'm still getting the hang of this whole wolf thing." He replied.
"That's my boy always a lady's man. I swear I'm never going to get used to you being taller then me though." His dad said, patting his shoulder.
"Wow what are you packing under there feels like a damn concrete?" He teased, Bane pulled me into his arms. I giggled, when the girl glared at me.
"Honestly you'd make a good mate." I said, looking up at him. He flustered a light shade of red.
"Really?" He asked nervously.
"Your so freaking adorable and yes. Trust me I know what I'm talking about." I answered and he nuzzled me.
"Ahh someone's got a crush." His sister teased.
"Shut it." As his face turned bright red.
"Ha your not even going to deny it." His brother teased. His shook his head and my grandfather laughed.
"You do know you can still make a move she is single and needs a mate." He informed him.
"Grandfather." I yelled, playfully punching his arm.
"So Avery are you good with kids?" Hain asked.
"Ya I practically raised my sister's from my adopted family." I replied.
"Well the hunters put together a group to educate the young non humans. I'm looking for any non humans that are good with children to recruit as mentors. To look after them since so many people are finding out about you the world's going to become more dangerous for them. Would you be interested?" He asked.
"Why me." I replied, he chuckled.
"Oh come on it isn't that bad." He coaxed me.
"Fine but only if he comes with me to keep them in line." I said.
"Very well." He said, I nodded as he handed me a cellphone.
"I'll pick you up tomorrow. Keep that on you." He said, I nodded. I yawned when Bane picked me up.
"We better get going. She's getting tired." He said, putting me in the car. He got in on the other side and my grandfather got in on the other side. I fell asleep leaning up against Bane on the way home.
