Part 30 Magic Thing
"Don't you dare say you don't like this place... I saw an extreme level of happiness on your face every day" Arnav said.
Khushi looked at him painfully. This was why she didn't want to take him to her era. It was because she knew Arnav would not let her live there if he got to know its features.
But, there is no use in thinking about it anymore. She had taken him to the Modern Era and he got to know how hard it was compared to his Ear. He even promised on his sword and no one could change it anymore. Arnav was not as same as her era boys... he won't change his mind. What would she do now? She was blank.
"What are you thinking, Khushi?" Arnav asked.
Khushi nodded her head from left to right. Arnav sighed and extended his hand to take the bag in which she kept HIS dress. His leg slipped and the bag was pushed to the floor.
"Wait. I will take it" Khushi laid on the bed and grabbed it. While she did that, Arnav's TOP fell down and Khushi didn't notice it.
She gave the bag to Arnav.
"I will come changing"
Khushi nodded ok. Arnav walked to the washroom.
In the meanwhile,
Chandrika was pacing in the garden restlessly, looking at Khushi's room. Her personal maid was also roaming behind her. The reason for Chandrika's restlessness was she saw Arnav going to Khushi's room LAST NIGHT. He had not come out of her room yet and, was still in her room. What was he doing in her room at this hour? Didn't he say Khushi was his friend when he brought her to the Palace? Then why was he at her place in NIGHT? What so important matter that he was discussing with her at this time?
"Yuvrani, why are you roaming like this?" Her maid Parvathy asked.
"If you are in my place, you will also do the same," Chandrika said irritatingly.
"No, I won't roam like you do,"
Chandrika looked at her frowning.
"Will you let your boyfriend go easily?" Chandrika asked angrily.
"No... instead of being in the assumption of it can be like this... that can be like that... I will directly go to her room and get to know what's happening there" Parvathy said.
Chandrika got stuck.
"But, what if anyone sees us?" Chandrika asked.
"So what if anyone sees us? You are a Princess. You can daringly say you didn't get sleep. So that we are just walking..."

They headed to Khushi's room. As Parvathy said, the guard on duty smiled at her and asked,
"What are you guys doing at this hour?"
"Princess Changrika didn't get sleep as she slept in the daytime. That's why we came for a walk"
"Oh..."
They came to Khushi's room, crossing three more guards giving the same answer. They stood near the window of Khushi's room and looked here and there cautiously. Parvathy slid the curtain slightly.
Khushi was looking at the sand clock thinking about how it changed her life. At the same time, Arnav came from the washroom, TOPLESS. Chandrika and Parvathi were shocked to see him without a top.
"Why is he not wearing his top?" Chandrika asked shockingly.
"That's what I'm also thinking..." Parvathy said nervously.
"If they are friends, why is he standing in front of her topless? SOMETHING would have happened between them" She said dejectedly.
"You are right," Parvathi said feeling sad.
Khushi frowned at Arnav.
"Take my top, Khushi..." Arnav said pointing at his top that was lying on the floor.
Khushi looked down and saw the top.
"Oh... it's here..." Khushi took it from the ground and gave it to him.
"Yeah, it fell on the ground," Arnav said taking it from her. He wore the top and his jewels.
"FELL on the ground? How did it fall on the ground if he didn't take it off?" Chandrika almost cried.
"You are right... something would have happened between them. That's why he removed it" Parvathy said.
"My fear came true. They are not just friends. They are in a relationship" Chandrika said wrathfully.
Arnav took his sword and saw the sand clock in Khushi's hand. He was stuck.
"Why are you looking at that?"
"I'm thinking how it changed my life... I should not have gotten it if I had known it would bring such a change in my life..."
Cutting her,
"But you got it. It's because we are destined for each other. That's why you came to me. Just think, you could have gone somewhere else but you didn't. You came to our kingdom. You met me. We spent time together. I meet many people in my day-to-day life but I never spent my time with anyone but only with you..."
Chandrika widened her eyes in shock. What did he mean by SPENDING TIME TOGETHER? Were they spending time in bed often?
Khushi was silent. Arnav took the sand clock from her hand and kept it on the table. Chandrika and Parvathy glanced at each other.
"What's that?" Chandrika asked.
"I don't know. I have never seen such a thing in my life"
Arnav slightly bent down in front of the sand clock, keeping his palms on his knees.
"You are a game changer of my life. Do you know who am I? I'm Prince Aparajith... I never bent down in front of anyone. But now, I don't mind doing that. Because of you, Khushi is with me today. According to me, my sword and you are the same..." he turned behind and looked at Khushi.
"What's that? How is that the reason for Khushi to be with him?" Chandrika asked could not understand anything.
"I think it must be something as same as the MAGIC BOX she showed in the court this morning. Saint Shah Rukh Khan must have given it to her" Parvathy ran her imagination chariot fast.
"You are right... this is why Prince Aparajith is behind her. Don't we know how rigid he would be with girls?" Chandrika said.
"Yes, Yuvrani... you are right. This is why Yuvraj is spellbound towards her"
"He is not spellbound with her but she MADE him spellbound with her using the magic things"
Parvathy nodded yes.
Arnav walked to Khushi. He lifted her, clutching her shoulders. Khushi stood up, looking into his eyes. Chandrika and Parvathy were looking at them catching their breath.
Arnav cupped Khushi's face and pressed his lips on her forehead. Khushi closed her eyes gulping down. She knew the forehead kiss meant RESPECT.
Chandrika gritted her teeth and Parvathy looked at her miserably. Arnav's kiss cleared their doubt that he was in LOVE with her. Arnav looked at Khushi, breaking the kiss.
"I'm sorry for making you embarrassed... but, I need you. I hope you will understand that soon"
Khushi's eyes tear up. She closed her eyes and tears spilled down her eyes. Arnav wiped it with his thumbs.
Chandrika looked at Parvathy and said,
"I want it,"
"Kiss?"
Chandrika hit her shoulder and Parvathy caressed it.
"That magic thing..." She pointed at the sand clock.
"But why?"
"Didn't he hear what the Prince said? Because of that thing, Khushi is with him... if we take it from her, they will get separate"
"Wow... what an idea...! But how could you get it?"
"If you do what I say, I will get it"
"I will do anything for you"
Chandrika told her plan. Parvathy nodded ok readily.
"Go..."
Parvathy left the place. She came to the ground floor without falling into anyone's sight. She pushed the large metal flower vase and screamed.
"Ahhhhhhh..."
Arnav and Khushi jerked, hearing the sound. They looked at each other and ran out of the room, without thinking of anything, leaving the SAND CLOCK there.
Chandrika rushed inside Khushi's room and grabbed the sand clock. She smiled at the sand clock, devilishly.
"Because of you they are together, right? I will see, from here on, how they will be together..." She smirked unaware of the truth that they would be separated ONLY if the sand clock was with Khushi.
She knotted the sand clock in her saree pallu and came to the ground floor to see what Parvathy was doing. She saw Khushi lifting Parvathy from the ground. Arnav and a few guards were there, looking at them.
Parvathy asked Chandrika through her eyes, HAVE YOU DONE? Chandrika blinked her eyes. Parvathy shrugged her leg hard and said,
"It's ok... thank you"
"What are you doing here at this hour?" Arnav asked rigidly.
"Yuvraj, Princess Chandrika didn't get sleep as she slept in the daytime. So, she was walking in the garden. I came searching for her"
"Could you walk?" Chandrika asked Parvathy.
"Yeah... I can walk" Parvathy said and started walking slowly. Chandrika went with her.
Arnav and Khushi got back to Khushi's room. Arnav took his sword and said,
"Good night"
Khushi nodded ok and looked at the table. She was horrified as the sand clock was not there.
