Part 46 Anu is alive
"Anu is alive" Radhika shouted. It
NK stopped getting horrified. Even Bhuvan was in the same state because it was new to him also. In fact, he didn't believe Radhika. He thought she lied to escape from NK. NK also thought the same. At the same time, in the corner of his heart, he wished it to be true.
"Don't lie... I know Anu is dead. Arnav himself fired on her dead body. Then how could it be possible?"
"He didn't fire Anu's body. It's not Anu's body but someone's"

I thought to save ourselves. I know Arnav will take Anu to the multi-specialty hospital. If he did that, he will get to know Anu is alive. So, I planned something. I asked Arnav to go to the nearby clinic as Anu's condition was serious. Arnav didn't question as he was tense and didn't want to waste time. I directed him to the particular clinic. The doctor of the clinic was a specialist in abortion"
"But, what did the abortion specialist do with Anu?"
"He aborted many children without caring about anything. He needs only money. If you give him the money, he will abort a child even after the fifth month too. A few girls died at the time of the abortion. They are unmarried girls who came to his clinic without their parent's knowledge. So, he escaped. Knowing about him only I took Anu to his clinic because I know he will kill Anu for money"

"I saw the shock on the doctor's face when he saw Anu but I didn't know why. I went to the OP room. I gave him my bangles and asked him to kill Anu. He readily agreed to it and told the same Arnav. "Bargained? For what?" NK asked nervously.
"He decided to sell her in Mumbai. That was when I got to know, the body given to Arnav was not Anu's body. It was some other girl who came to him for an abortion. She died it seemed. Fortunately, or unfortunately, she looked like Anu. That was why the doctor was shocked, seeing Anu."
"That means, Anu is in Mumbai now?" NK asked restlessly.
"No... That's the twist. As the doctor didn't expect, Anu got her consciousness back. She heard the doctor talk. She tried to escape from him. But, his men surrounded her. To escape from going to Mumbai, she burnt her face on the two Wheeler's silencers"
NK gulped down her tears as well as his anger.
"As she lost her beauty, he sold her as liegeman to a bricks chamber."
"Where is the bricks chamber?"
"It's on the way to Lucknow. It's a small village. There won't be any houses but only bricks chambers. There are no facilities in the village. No cell phone towers are there. So, no one can communicate with anyone"
"What's the name of the village?"
"Paththarpur"
"Where is the clinic?"
"Indira Nagar"
"Name?"
"Blessings..."
"Blessings...??? My foot..." NK murmured with rage.
"Please don't kill us..." Radhika begged, joining her hands.
"No... I'm not going to kill you"
There was relief on their faces.
"Actually, I brought you here to kill you only but now, my mind changed because you won't deserve EASY DEATH..." NK said spitting fire through his eyes.
They looked at each other getting horrified.
"You guys should not die easily. People like you should not get easy death. You should know the pain of others. Taste the fruit of your deeds. Enjoy dying..."
"Please don't do that. We told you about Anu..."
Cutting her,
"After selling Anu as a slave, are you expecting me to reconsider my decision? Look at there," he pointed at the sky.
They looked up and saw two vultures flying around the sky.
"They are dead eaters... But won't be waiting until you die. They will give you slow death by tearing your flesh little by little"
Their faces radiated fear... Only fear... They could not even imagine such a worst end of their life who was already in pain. They could not even move as NK had already broken their legs.
"Please consider me at least... I was not with them in this. I don't even know if the girl is still alive. They didn't tell me about her. Please leave me... I will go somewhere... Far away from Delhi. Please" Bhuvan pleaded, looking at the vultures frightfully.

NK started getting down the hill not giving an ear to them. Radhika and co saw one of the vultures getting down from the sky. It sat on the nearby rock and looked at its prey, tilting its head. Without caring about their death wail,

In the meanwhile,
Arnav was confused, seeing his car's GPRS location. Where was NK going? He said he was going on a trip. Then what was he doing in the DRY region? There won't even be a tree to take rest...!
That was when Aman rushed to Arnav.
"ASR..."
"Haan, Aman?"
"Radhika and co escaped from the police"
"Whaaaaaat?"

"Outskirt Delhi... On the way to Agra"
Arnav got an alert.
"Aman we have to go to the place immediately"
"But why ASR?"
"I think they are in NK's hands"

Taking his laptop, Arnav rushed out with Aman. Arnav stopped thinking something.

Khushi saw them running.
"What happened Arnavji?"
"We will be back soon. It's urgent" Arnav said while running.
Khushi nodded ok, thinking deeply. What would be the urgent work that they were running like that? She thought to ask Arnav about it when he came back.
Aman was watching the SUV's GPRS location and Arnav was driving the car in the same direction. They were almost nearing the location. They were confused as NK started the car and was going towards Lucknow. Arnav geared the car up and followed the SUV.
On the other hand, NK was driving the car with nervousness. He was not sure what Radhika said was true. If it was true, how Anu would be? Don't know how many troubles she faced being a slave. His heart spilled blood, thinking about it. He didn't know what would be the situation there. He didn't know how many people he had to handle. But he had to... He didn't think of the impossibilities. When it came to Anu, everything was possible. Nothing more than that to think about.
NK reached the Paththarpur. Radhika was right. There was nothing other than the bricks chamber. That gave him hope. He felt Anu would definitely be found there. He jumped out of the car as the road ended at one point. He ran his eyes around the place. Very few people were working in the chamber. Some of them were mashing the clay with their legs. Some of them were making bricks by filling the clay in the moulds.
NK's heartbeat became faster. He felt a shiver in his spine, seeing the workers with dirty looks and dried messed-up hair. He could not imagine Anu would be one among them. But... Anu was one among them.
NK saw a woman with a burn scar on her face. His eyes instantly tear up. Of course, she was indeed Anu. If Radhika would not tell him about the burnt wound, NK would not have believed that she was Anu. Her fair skin had been turned terribly due to direct sunlight.
"Anuuuu..." NK uttered, putting in a lot of effort.
Anu stopped hearing that. There was a shock on her face even before she turned towards NK. Maybe, she recognized his voice. She slowly looked at NK with an unbelievable expression. She widened her eyes with shock and also with happiness, understanding that NK was really there. His face held a painful expression. Without thinking of anything, she rushed to him and hugged him tightly. NK reciprocated her with the same zeal. In no time, Anu burst out crying. NK closed his teary eyes painfully, tightening the hug.
That dragged everyone's attention around them.
