Arnav got a call on his mobile. He attended it, looking at baby Anu who was getting off the bed casually as it became her routine.
"This is Rima..."
"Yeah, tell me"
"Bhai, I have sent you my passport copy"
"Ok... I will get your visa soon..."
"Thank you so much"
"That's ok... Be careful... You can ask me for any help if you want. Don't forget I'm here for you."
"Thank you so much. I and NK was so stressed about the situation. You made us relieve"
"Hey, come on, Rima... It's my duty to protect you for my whole life and I will do that by hook or by crook"
"Thank you, Bhai"
Arnav disconnected the call and turned. His face paled, seeing Khushi. He took a few minutes to gain his composure. He believed Khushi would not have heard his talks with Rima. He smiled at her.
"Who is on the call?" Her question whizzed into his ear.
"It's an office call," Arnav said.
She shrugged inconvenienced.
"The much I know, there was no one in your office called Rima" her eyes appeared troubled.
Arnav switched his gaze in response.
"Tell me Arnavji... Who is Rima?"
"Khushi, it's just a random call"
"It's my duty to protect you for my whole life and I will so that by hook out by crook... This is how would you talk on the random call?"
His words stuck in his throat. It was one hell of a moment for Arnav. He could not ignore the reality that the question came from Khushi out of suspicion that he never wanted.
"Khushi, relax... You know me"
"You too know me..."
"I know you... Try to understand, I do have a reason for my every action"
"Don't I have the right to know the reason? You ought to clear my doubt as per our condition... We swore that we should not hide anything from one another"
"Khushi, not everything is as it appears. Get a grip of yourself" Arnav tried to keep his voice steady.
"You are the one who is weakening my grip..."
Arnav gasped, closing his eyes.
"Khushi... I just don't want you to be in stress... Please, listen to me"
"You are putting me under stress" Khushi nodded no and moved back. She headed to the door. Arnav ran forward to hold her back.
"Khushi, listen to me"
"No, Arnavji... I know you are lying. I saw you coming with Nanne by cab but you guys behaved like you didn't see one another... You are hiding something from me" shrugging his hand off, she intended to go, but Arnav gripped her hand.
"This is what your trust in me? Ok fine... What about NK? Would he let me do something against you? Would he allow me to hurt you?"
Khushi was at a loss for words. Arnav folded his hands with composed gaze.
"Come" holding her hand, he brought her to the bed.
"Truth to said, I don't want you to know this... But now, I have no choice because I don't want to keep you in the dreading dark" Arnav sighed.
"You want to know who Rima is... Do you remember, you suspect NK in Abhishek's death?"
Khushi nodded yes.
"It's not NK but Rima who killed Abhishek"
Ignoring her shocked form, Arnav continued,
"I too had the same doubt about NK, just like you had on me when I heard him talking on the phone with Rima. I thought I had taken the wrong decision of marrying him to Anu. I wanted to get clear my doubt. So, I followed NK. I saw him meeting a girl in a park. That's where I got to know the truth. Rima is Abhishek's ex-girlfriend. She is also got affected by him just like Anu. So, she killed him in anger. That was the same day, NK went to Mumbai. He saw Abhishek at the airport. Handing his ticket to someone who was in the need of going to Mumbai urgently, NK went to Abhishek's house to revenge him for Anu. Before he did anything, Rima had finished Abhishek's chapter. He decided to help the girl to get free from the case. He deleted the CCTV camera footage and wiped her fingerprints from Abhishek's house. Both of them left the place silently. Now, as Anu came back, Rima doesn't want to be in India as it's a risk not only for her but also NK. She wants to go to Singapore. So, I'm helping her to get a visa, using my influence"
Arnav pulled his mobile out of his pocket and showed Rima's passport copy to Khushi. She saw that and sighed. In no time, she hugged Arnav. He embraced her. darting a smile.
"I'm sorry, Arnavji... I thought too much"
"Khushi, we crossed a hard path of the time period in our life span due to a misunderstanding. We have already had a lot. We have not gotten rid of it yet completely. I will not let it happen again."
Getting apart from him, she nodded positively.
"I have to meet someone regarding her visa. Will come soon. Ok?"
Khushi nodded ok. She ran her eyes in the room.
"I think Anu went out. She won't let you go if she sees you" She said.
"Yup, before she comes, I should leave"
Arnav hurriedly changed his dress and got into his three-piece suit.
"Bye..." He took his car key.
That was when he heard from baby Anu,
"Aaaaiiiii.... Vaaaa dhaaaaaa" like, you got caught. She was peeping from behind the curtain with her toy.
Arnav rolled his eyes. She crawled towards him zealously.
"What the... Damn it..."
"Dhamith..." She repeated DAMIT IT. coming to him, she sat on his feet.
"I thought she went out somewhere," Khushi said.
Arnav looked at Khushi, raising his brows helplessly. Khushi suppressed her grin.
Without any choice left, Arnav picked her in his arms. Anu circled him tightly, hinting to him that she was not going to leave him.
"Ok, you too come with me. She won't let me go" Arnav told Khushi.
She shook her head affirmatively.
"Let's go"
They went out.

On the other side, Anu was lying on the bed. Her body was shaking. It seemed she was crying. But why?
NK who came to Arnav's room to meet him didn't find him there. He thought Arnav would be in Anu's room. So, he came to her room and saw her lying on the bed, crying. He zoomed in stumbling.
Anu sat on the bed, seeing him.
"Anu, why are you crying?" NK asked couldn't refrain himself.
Anu kept mum.
"Anu, I'm asking you something"
"What happened to Radhika and Kiran?" She asked, rummaging its answer in his face.
NK was shocked by her question and looked down. She got off the bed.
"Why? What did you do to them, NK? Why?"
"I would like to live my life with you. I consoled myself when I got to know it won't happen because, love won't demand anything, except for the loved one's happiness. I thought you would be happy with Abhishek. I was furious when he betrayed you because we thought you committed suicide. Then we found out those merciless women killed you but we never imagined they would have sold you out as a slave. I lost my patience when I got to know they killed you. How could I leave them?"
"But, what will happen if you get caught by the police?"
"What's there for me after you? I just lived lifelessly... Khushi was one of the reasons I lived. I just wanted to be her support. And Anu... Your comeback is something that thrilled me out"
"What did I do for you that you have gone to this extend to punish those who ruined my life?" She chocked.
"This is not a mere business to give only to take something from you, Anu. Some feelings could not be explained..." He wiped her wounded cheek with his thumb.
In no time, Anu throws herself on his chest and burst out crying. NK cuddled her in his arms painfully.
"I'm sorry. I missed to understand you. I was so fool to run behind a pebble leaving a diamond of my life behind"
There was a smile shined on his lips. He almost breathed a sigh of relief.
"Anu, you are the one who falls upon my soul... I hope you will be with me for no compulsion"
Pulling back from him,
"I would be the unluckiest person if I miss you again"
"Thank you for accepting me" he again hugged her with satisfaction.
