Christmas
Its Christmas. Its snowing in Los Angeles. The fire is roaring in the fireplace, Christmas songs playing in the background. You know, the whole traditional Christmas atmosphere?
Scott is finishing off making diner, whilst Mitch is struggling to put the star on top of the tree.
"Why do I have to be so small?" Mitch mutters under his breath, but loud enough for Scott to hear.
Scott sneaks up behind the smaller man, grabs his waist and lifts him.
"Oh my God." Mitch squeals, startled.
He places the star on top of the tree, and Scott places Mitch back onto his feet.
"You're lucky to have me around, otherwise you would still be struggling to put that star up there. Anyways, I gotta go finish making diner and you young man need to finish putting up the decorations." Scott said, poking Mitch's stomach, which Mitch found cute.
Scott turns and walks back into the kitchen. Mitch, meanwhile puts up the mistletoe and finishes putting up decorations around the fireplace frame. Finished, he walks into the kitchen and sits on the counter.
Scott was covering gingerbread biscuits in melted chocolate, when Mitch sticks his finger in the chocolate, then dragging it out and causing a long drip of chocolate drop onto the counter. He placed his finger in his mouth and sucked all the chocolate off.
"Hey! If you carry on contaminating the chocolate there won't be any left for the biscuits. Have you finished the decorations Marshmallow?" Scott asks.
"Of course I have Snickers. Anyways, when are Kirstie, Avi, Esther and Kevin coming round. I need to get ready." Mitch replies.
"Very soon. Now go and beautify yourself Mars bar." The blonde commands.
"Okay, I'll be back soon Smarties." Mitch shouts already out of the kitchen.
Scott finishes decorating the biscuits, then takes his spare time resting on the couch, texting Kirstie asking when they're coming round and waiting for Mitch to finish getting ready.
The baritone has been having a crush on his bestfriend ever since Halloween night. Every time the younger man walked in the room, Scott would find himself staring at him, and he has been thinking all year what to get Mitch for Christmas.
Then, Mitch walks out his room and into the living room, wearing a oversized sweatshirt, skinny jeans and his hair perfectly styled to the left.
"Do I look decent enough, Sandra?" Mitch asks.
Scott stares at the cute brunette standing in front of him and doesn't answer until Mitch snaps him out of his thoughts.
"Scott!" He yells.
"Uh, um, yeah you look great. The rest will be here anytime soon. I'm just gonna go fix my hair." Scott says, standing up.
"Okayy." Mitch smiles.
Once Scott leaves, he places a jewelry size box under the tree. Hoping Scott wouldn't realize it wasn't there before. He sits on the couch before Scott returns and becomes suspicious. Scott walks out of his bedroom, wearing his red Christmas sweatshirt that he bought the other day, skinny jeans and his hair up in a quiff.
"Looking good there Scottland." Mitch commented from the couch.
"Thanks Mitchie." Scott chuckled.
Then, there was a knock on the door and Mitch shoots up from his position on the couch to answer the door. He flings the door open to reveal his other three bestfriends.
"Hey! Come in." Mitch exclaims.
Kirstie comes in first and tightly hugs Mitch then moving onto Scott. Then Avi then Kevin, all hugging the brunette and blonde.
They all sit around the table and enjoy the meal that mainly Scott prepared. Kirstie, Kevin and Avi dropped their presents off earlier and were all neatly sitting under the big tree Mitch decorated earlier. The five sit and talk, laugh and crack jokes, all enjoying each others company. What's better than spending Christmas with your bestfriends.
"I guess it's time to open the prezzies." Mitch says excitedly.
The rest agree and Kirstie and Avi sit on the couch with Scott on the edge, Kevin on the armchair and Mitch on the floor next to the tree, handing out gifts. When Mitch hands Kirstie her gift from Avi, her eyes light up and she kisses Avi on the cheek- she got a necklace with the letter 'K'. Avi got a tee and Kevin got new accessories for his cello. Mitch hands Scott his present, he sits there staring at him nervously. Scott opens the box and his jaw drops at the sight.
"You did not." Scott looks at his bestfriend.
"Yes I did. I knew you always wanted that watch so I decided to get it you." Mitch grins.
"Oh my gosh Mitch it's perfect. Wait I gotta get you your present. Hold on a second." Scott hands his box to Kirstie to hold and runs to his room.
He grabs the cardboard box from beside his bed and walks back to the living room. Mitch is confused at the sight of a cardboard box but when he opens the box, he jumps up and hugs Scott tightly, which the blonde returns.
"Scott, I can't believe you actually got me a sphynx cat." Mitch squeals.
Kevin holds up the mistletoe above the heads of Scott and Mitch which are still in each others embrace.
"Look up." Avi says in a deep voice.
They look up to see the mistletoe being hung over their heads.
"What are you waiting for? Kiss!" Kirstie demands.
Scott frames Mitch's face in his big hands, and the smaller male places his arms around the blonde's neck, and they both lean in at the same time. Mitch places a feathery kiss on Scott's lips, which gradually turns into a make out session.
"I love you, Mitch." Scott confesses.
"I love you too, Scott. I have for the longest time." Mitch replies.
"Awe." Kirstie fangirls in the background.
"Finally!" Avi and Kevin chant in unison.
"I love you all, but I think I love Scott the most." Mitch blushes.
"Does that give me the title of 'boyfriend', now, Mitchie?" Scott asks.
"It sure does, Scottland." Mitch giggles.
They share another kiss then cuddle on the couch, still in the company of Kirstie, Kevin and Avi and all watch some cheesy romantic Christmas movie. How cute. After the movie, Kirstie, Avi and Kevin leave, leaving Scott and Mitch cuddling on the couch.
"What did you ask for Christmas, Mitchie?" Scott asks.
"Everything you gave me today. My dream cat and my dream boyfriend. I love you." Mitch giggles.
"I love you too, Mitchie. Happy Christmas."
"Happy Christmas to you too baby."
