The air around them seemed to heat up, warmth steadily rising between two bodies that clung to each other without pause, melting away the thick, viscous restraint.

"Smack". A sharp slap rang out. Her face was knocked to the side.

"I told you not to bite!" The words were thick with irritation. Yet somehow, when they reached Natsha's ears, they became a catalyst instead. One that only made her want to "tear apart" the person in front of her, gnawing at her bit by bit.

Natsha licked the corner of her lips. Lorena's back was slammed hard against the door. Lorena wanted to scoff, but the only sounds she could make were meaningless moans. Natsha gave her no chance to escape the "shackles" binding her.

Her wrists were pressed against the wooden door, pinned firmly in Natsha's grip. Slowly, she loosened her hold, then slid down to Lorena's palm, their fingers interlacing as if long separated, clasping together with force.

The black tight dress hugged Lorena's body. Natsha found it both an eyesore and breathtakingly beautiful. She wouldn't be crude enough to tear apart the only fabric shielding Lorena at the party.

The slit in the skirt made everything perfect.

"So convenient." She teased.

"Shut up and do it." Lorena immediately pulled her into the chaos already unfolding.

Slender fingers found the place they belonged. Lorena collapsed against Natsha's shoulder, breathing heavily.

"Lorena?" A deep voice rang out, freezing them both.

The distraction was cast aside at once as Natsha focused entirely on carrying out her "task." Lorena could only surrender to it, unable to raise her voice to reprimand her.

But she had her own way of retaliation. If she had to suffer, then Natsha would too. Lorena bit down hard on Natsha's shoulder.

Even in pain, Natsha could only endure it, her movements growing faster.

The knocking on the wooden door drew closer and closer. Whoever stood outside showed no sign of giving up.

When the knocking finally reached the restroom stall where the two were "entangled," a sudden voice called out.

"Sean, let's go! Everyone's waiting for you!"

"...Yeah." His voice answered, hesitant.

Footsteps faded away, returning the space to its former silence.

"So you like this kind of thing?" She whispered.

"Go to hell." Lorena cursed.

Natsha only smiled, answering her in another way.

"Where did you go?" Sean asked after searching for her for some time. "I was worried something happened, so I checked the restroom but you weren't there."

"I had a call with a business partner." She gave him a perfect, practiced smile.

"Another issue with Taechamongkalapiwat?" He asked in a low voice.

She didn't answer.

His gaze immediately shot toward a figure standing in the corner of the hall. Someone calmly enjoying the wine in her hand, completely unbothered.

"Taechamongkalapiwat has taken over too much of the market..." He wrapped an arm around Lorena's waist. "That's why this marriage is so important... isn't it, Lorena?"

Her eyes never left Lorena or the arm around her waist. She took a sip of wine, her gaze darkening.

Lorena looked back at her, her eyes unwavering, devoid of emotion.

Two rivals on the battlefield of commerce. In the end, only one would remain.
