BULLET
"Are you shitting me?"
He didn't answer, instead walked away when I grabbed his arm to pull him back. He shifted his body as my face met his.
Our chests clashed. My breath hitched and clenched my jaw.
"Let me go," I hissed under my breath.
"You grabbed me first," ipinantay niya ang tingin sa 'kin, ang asul na mga mata'y may kung anong kislap.
It was so annoyingly beautiful I wanted to stab his eyes with my finger.
I fought his gaze, my fingers gripping on his arm.
"What do you mean getting married?" I hissed.
"Getting married," he explained. "Magpapakasal lang, gano'n."
"Magpapakasal lang?!" I screamed on his face.
I can't believe this man!
He tilted his face and pushed me a little when my fingers got buried on his skin.
And now he was in advantage! His other arm on my waist digging on my skin while the other one's at the top of my head, caging me in his large frame.
"Ayaw mo?" He even had the audacity to fucking ask!
"In your dreams," I glared at him with disgust. He gave me an offended look.
"Nakakasakit ka naman ng damdamin, ah? Lugi ka pa ba sa mukhang 'to?" He gave me an annoyed look.
I watched his face. I did a lot of times before but right now, I realized it was darker. His eyes now are dark blue in the dim lights, his scruff more evident than it was yesterday. The strands of his messy soft curls and the tattoo I could barely see on his skin made him look hotter.
"Done checking me out, wife? Pasok ba sa taste mo?" He whispered sensually on my lips only an inch away from me.
I fisted my palm.
"Fuck you," I hissed while glaring at him.
"Later at the honeymoon, baby." He smirked, "My apologies. Hindi kasi ako easy to get,"
My mouth slacked. The wicked glint on his gaze turned darker and devious.
"Fuck you to hell, Reaper," I spat.
He hummed. His palm above my head fell down to caress my cheek.
"You're coming with me, Scythe." He answered me back, "we'll fuck in hell."
He predicted my move and caught my arm, pulling it to wrap around his neck while he's gripping my waist.
Kumawala ako, inis na inis.
"If I get out of here, I swear I'll slit your throat." I threatened.
He gave me an amused look, "that is if I haven't slit yours yet."
I didn't know I was caving in his touch to much that when he let go, I felt empty.
"Why do you want to marry me?" I recovered and crossed my arms while looking at him.
I exposed it more to distract him.
Horny bastard! Why was he fucking turned on when I wanted to kill him right now!
I reveled on his look, too. Those sexy body and strong arms. Not too large and small. Just enough muscles in the right places and athletic.
I heard the clearing of throat. I snapped back and glared at him.
"What?!" I hissed.
"I know you want to fuck me already but I'm conservative, Tish," the side of his lips tilted. "I wanted to get married first."
"Fuck you," I drawled again.
He snickered, "I know, honey. Later."
Now I was fucking annoyed I wanted to jump, grab his face and slam him on the wall or something to crash his skull. I didn't say a thing but I know my disdain was showing but he was unbothered!
He even glanced at the clock and back to me, "you can do your girl things now. There are make ups there and—"
"Why do you wanna marry me?" I asked.
"So you'll stay with me," he didn't even think twice in saying that it almost took my breath away.
My jaw clenched.
"What?" I hissed.
Matagal siyang tumitig sa 'kin. 'Di ko mabasa ang kanyang ekspresyon.
"Report back to your boss," aniya. "Wyatt Anderson Senior, huh?"
The hair at the back of my nape rose. I was taken aback. No one knew that name but me!
"How do you know him?" My forehead creased. I didn't saw this one coming.
I anticipated he was dangerous but not to this extent. To know Wyatt's name was something else.
He really was the Reaper.
"We have some unfinished business," darkness lured around his aura. His jaw clenched. "And you'll help me finish it."
He took a step back, his face void with emotion again.
"Do your thing, be outside before ten. Someone will take you to the location." Naglakad siya palayo nang magsalita ako.
"And if I didn't agree?" I asked, followed by eerie silence.
His shoulders squared, "then I'll be disheartened to kill such a beautiful thing, Scythe." And he left, just like that.
I should've felt offended. No one leaves me while still alive, mostly if he's an enemy of mine but he walked away in the hospital room breathing fine and realized it all turned upside down.
He had me on his grip. He will kill me.
Shit, Bullet. Where did you got yourself into?
He wasn't the Zion I interacted with these days. That one was fun, carefree and gentle. The kind of guy who makes love at someone so gentle as if you're fragile and will break at any wrong move.
Reaper was something else. He was the darker one. The one who'll fuck your brains out while holding a knife to your throat.
And my...my, my, I'm a hypocrite if I say it doesn't excites me.
Imagine my legs wrapped around him while he's threatening to kill me. Ah, I'd love to do the same. I imagined I'll strap him on a chair one day and fuck him with my gun under his chin just like what he did to me earlier.
That bastard was so hot it was infuriating.
If this was just me, I wouldn't mind dying. I always anticipated death was inevitable whenever I'm on mission. It's not like I have something left of me to treasure. I only have this damaged me. No one would cry and even attend my fucking funeral but I always keep in mind that if I died, I'll still die trying and destroying my enemies lives. But this was different.
In this war, I don't want to die. Not yet.
He was Reaper and I'm Scythe. He was death but I was the weapon of death.
He can't cast death without wielding me and I'll make sure he was nothing without me.
And I'm curious. It excites me to think what will happen now with him and Wyatt.
If you ask me where my loyalty lies? Honestly, I don't know now. Just go with the flow, I guess. Perhaps, I know this will be very fun.
My face crumpled when an image flashed on my mind.
I still haven't forgotten what Wyatt and his men did to my babies. My children!
The image of my damaged bike, Zion, lingered again as I was glaring at the mirror with anger.
Wyatt Anderson, I don't know what your unfinished business with the Reaper was and I can't wait to see.
Family my ass, families don't kill your children's children.
Reaper could burn them and I'd happily watch it all ignite.
Adrenaline heightened as I brush my blonde hair while staring at the mirror.
This was exciting. I can't wait to see Anderson burn to flames. I just wish I'll be the one to flick the match and start the fire.
I was just finishing my lipstick when I heard a knock. I covered up the red marks on my cheek from Wyatt's cane and palm with make up and I looked gorgeous.
Perfect.
The HR came into view, Jackie. Nagkatinginan kaming dalawa. Tinaasan niya 'ko ng kilay.
"Ready?" She asked.
So she knew we're getting married? Good for her.
She was annoying the whole time I'm working as the secretary.
I have seen her judging looks at me, waiting probably for me to mess up with work so she could pursue Zion to fire me or something.
I don't know if she just hates me or she's interested with Zion. I hate to think the latter was possible.
I'll go with she just hated me.
I narrowed my eyes at her, "where's my fiancee?" I asked bluntly.
Her mouth parted then snickered. I almost hissed at her in annoyance.
"Fiancee, huh?" Kumunot ang noo niya, "we both knew he's only marrying you for information."
I was startled. Not with the reason but because she knew about what's happening, too. She glanced my way to see my reaction but luckily, I was so good I didn't even made a reaction.
So she knew...she's in this with him. She wasn't an ordinary HR and hell, Scythe. I think you're outdated.
How could you not know this information? These people are no easy target. They reversed the situation without me even recognizing it.
I hate to admit but I think I'm rusty.
I didn't know where exactly we're going but I didn't follow her. Why would I?
"Don't worry, after getting the information, you'll be in peace after he kills you," she drawled when we got in front of the elevator.
"That's if I didn't kill him first," I answered blankly and stepped inside the elevator.
Narinig ko ang mahinang pagmumura niya. Hindi ko pinansin. I watched her pressed the rooftop button and I stared at myself in the elevator's reflection.
I never knew wearing white would suit me. I'm an all black or red kind of person. My wardrobe's color schemes would revolve around dark shades that it's fascinating seeing myself looking immaculate.
It was a luxurious double-layered silk gown, with fine silk straps, an elegant bodice and cowl neckline. My hip and waist was defined with an A-line flare skirt.
It hugged my frame gracefully, every sharp angle captured and enhanced. It was even backless, showing the inks of my back tattoo.
A tattoo swirling from my nape down the spine of my back, my back shoulders down my hips not evident because of my dress. I made sure my hair wouldn't cover that beauty and I can see the change in Zion's cold eyes when he saw me striding out of the elevator.
He was dashing in his dark green suit and pants. He wasn't wearing a necktie. Some of his white inner shirt buttons are unbuttoned, showing a view of his chest.
It complimented the blue hues of his eyes and when he walked closer to me to observe closely, I almost forgot my composure.
I gave him a blank look instead.
"Are we starting?" I asked coolly.
He took a step closer and caught my waist with his large palm. I tensed and gave him a pointed look.
Sumulyap siya sa likod ko, "thanks, Jackie."
"No worries, Zy," she answered sweetly back I almost made a face.
No worries, Zy. My ass!
He lifted his hand and traced my forehead, "what's with the frown, Tish?"
"No worries, Zy," I mimicked.
"What? Me?" I hissed under my breath. "Jealous?"
He nodded, "just a reminder to you, wife. But a jealous, clingy wife wasn't really my thing."
I scoffed in disbelief, "ako pa ang selosa at clingy? Coming from you?!"
He shrugged and twirled my hair with his fingers, "hmm, I'm not the clingy and jealous type, too. So we're even. But don't worry, baby. I'm loyal, you see. I have fans and I interact with them—alam mo na, gwapo moments."
Bumuntonghininga pa siyang parang pagod na. Nahulog ang panga ko.
"You are fucking unbelievable," I spat.
He smirked, "you'll get used to the fact you married the most handsome man in our family but know that my eyes are only and always set on yours."
My heart throbbed. My stomach swirled with demons. I fisted my palm to control any reaction to show—for this wasn't pretend.
I wasn't pretending to be smiling at him to get his attention, to piss him off like an ordinary boss-secretary interacts. This feeling was something else I couldn't comprehend.
Scary. Dangerous.
What am I gonna say? I have to think of something to piss him off—
"Ganda ng lines, 'no?" He grinned handsomely. "Line 'yon ng partner ni Mom sa bago niyang movie, nagselos nga si Dad kaya sabi niya corny daw kahit 'di naman, 'di ba?"
My shoulders fell.
So it was a line. I hated the disappointment in me.
"Did it sway you?" He mused.
"Why are you so brutal..." he mumbled and glanced at my fingers.
"I'm not. Since I won't be force to pretend to be good to you anymore, that's just how I am with annoying people." I smiled coldly at him, "for people I hate."
Hindi siya umimik kaagad. I caught the shadow of unknown lurking on his face. It was dark.
"Hmm..." he nodded and to my shock, smiled dangerously back. "It's good that for the first time, we had mutual feelings. This wedding will be exciting. I hate you, too, baby."
"I hate to interrupt the bride and groom's moment but wasn't it too early for honeymoon?"
Alchiel Sandejas came into view with a small and teasing smile, "inaantok na ang mga alaga ko."
Alaga?
There was even a red carpet with roses, tinatangay lang ng hangin sa lakas.
I noticed there are also a few individuals in there.
"Yeah," he chuckled. "You know how she is. Kakauwi lang kanina galing Italy tinawagan mo para hanapan ka ng gown." Then he glanced at my dress.
Nahulog ang tingin ko sa damit at tumikhim, "thank you and sorry for inconvenience. It's beautiful."
He winked, "no worries. My twin liked picking dresses and she wouldn't hesitate. Clyte made the designs..." he motioned the wedding arch. "Sorry it wasn't too much since this asshole informed us in such short notice."
"The best ka talaga, Chiel-taba!" The tone of Zion's voice was cheerful. "Kaya love kita, eh. Kapag break na kami ni Macky-beybe, ikaw na next jowa ko—"
"No thanks," Chiel made a face. "Anyway, you better prepare your explanation to Macky and Deion. Hindi mo sinabi. Pati kay Tito Zeij."
What?
Hinarap ko si Zion, "Sir Zeijan didn't know?"
He smiled, "he wouldn't mind. As if he didn't marry Mom at first meeting."
What?!
"That's my reaction, too," pinisil niya ang ilong ko sabay sulyap kay Alchiel. "We just can't wait to marry each other, Chiel. After I've seen what happened to her earlier, I don't think I'll be able to let her sleep alone at night."
It sounded so real my chest tightened. I hate how this man could give and play with my emotions like this.
"And please, keep this a secret for now," Zion added and I hated it. Hated that this farce of a marriage was also a secret. "I don't want our enemies to hurt my wife."
Sumulyap siya sa akin kaya nagkatinginan kami. There was a ghost softness lingering on his blue orbs but it immediately vanished I think I just saw it wrong.
"Alright, I got you," I looked away and stared at Alchiel watching us closely, his eyes observing and amused. "Let's start. The judge's sleepy now. Yari ako kay Dad kapag nalaman niyang inistorbo ko si Uncle."
He walked first to talk. I saw him went to the two girls on the bench. He said something to Clyte, messed with her hair before lowering his body to kiss Crest's forehead.
"You shouldn't have bothered your cousins with this," I pointed out, secretly praising how they decorated the place.
It was beautiful. White, red, and green flaunted the area. The judge was standing in the middle, waiting for us.
"Don't you like it?" He asked, his voice blank.
"Why bother when all of this are just for show?" I asked, my back stiff. "I know what you're doing, Reaper. You wanted to show Wyatt I got you when it's the other way around. You wanted to use me against him."
A ghost of a smile lifted on his lips, "You got it, smarty. Brains are sexy."
I clenched my jaw.
"I'll kill you, Reaper. I swear."
He chuckled, still touching my back.
"I'll watch you try, misis," he whispered on my ear.
I secretly stomped on his feet. He avoided it without even looking.
"Ready, wife?" He asked when a soft wedding song played on the stereo.
"I'll kill you," I whispered back as I accepted the palm he's showing me.
"That's so sweet, baby," he chuckled and gripped my fingers. "Play nice. We're in love."
And we walked down the aisle where the judge was waiting. We only have a few witnesses, Jackie and Zion's friend, William.
I have never thought I'd walk down the aisle for marriage in this life. For funeral, I did, actually. Couple of times, not to extend my condolences to the bereaved family but to make sure I made a good job killing the deceased.
Twisted. I know.
I loved it.
Zion's palm were warm against my cold one.
It's funny how two devils walked in the aisle for the holy matrimony. How they will swear for a lifetime love for better or for worst in God's name, only to kill each other in the end.
The judge started the ceremony, beside me was Zion with his usual gentle demeanor. A good boy at first glance, a friend of some but an enemy of the majority without even knowing.
I realized it wasn't just me playing wolf in sheep's clothing because he does a good job in that, too. Fascinating and amazing perhaps because he fooled me so well.
"Zion Schauffer Sandejas, do you take this woman to be your wife, to live together in holy matrimony, to love her, to honor her, to comfort her, and to keep her in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?"
He locked his gaze at me as he answers, "I do."
The judge glanced my way, too, then repeated the same question and I hesitated.
My ear started ringing. My eyes were locked on his familiar blues as if I was hearing the same questions all over again but in a different dream. In a different lifetime.
A woman with unfamiliar face in a white small dress, smiling. She has black hair, her black eyes twinkling with glee. With happiness and in front of her was a man—him.
"Bullet?" The man in front called and touched my cheek, "hey, misis?"
I drew a rather large breath. Napapikit ako at napahawak sa dibdib.
"Bevurleigh," he called again and touched my elbows. "Are you okay?" Worry was painted on his tone, "do you want to sit first or—"
"N-no, no, I'm okay," umiling ako at hinawakan ang palad ni Zion na humahawak sa akin. "I'm okay..."
He didn't answer and remained looking at me, I managed to show a silly smirk.
"Don't be nervous, mister, pinapakaba lang kita." I teased sweetly.
Alchiel whistled from the far side, narinig ko ang tawa ni William at ng judge na nasa harapan namin.
Zion's jaw clenched, the serious glint on his blue eyes didn't fade as he gave me the I-don't-believe-you-look.
Sumulyap ako sa judge at ngumiti, "I do, judge." I answered him before winking at the pissed idiot.
You thought you're could only pissed me, huh? Well, you don't know who you're playing games with.
"By the power vested in me by the state, I declare you...husband and wife," the sleepy judge gave out a satisfied smile.
Still sleepy probably because my idiot of woke him up in the middle of rest for his wicked games.
"You may kiss the bride," I forgotten this part in a wedding that my insides turned and reveled.
He tilted my chin up to align our lips together as he moved closer. I smelled his scent, the familiar expensive perfume and natural male scent aroused my senses.
He pulled me gently by my waist. My chest heaved as our nose touched.
"Hello, wife," his eyes glistened with mirth.
I gave him a wicked smile back, "can't wait to slit your throat in your sleep, husband."
His lips touched me briefly. I parted my mouth to taste his back when he whispered on my lips again.
"'Til death, we'll never part," then he cupped my cheek and kissed me fully on the lips, tasting death with each other's mouths.
The taste was heaven. It's been a while since that night when we kissed. It's been a while since I got addicted with his taste I almost clung on him to not stop playing with his tongue.
He fought me back, his palm digging on my waist to taunt me with his bites and kisses.
"Ehem, ehem, may reception pa! Baka nakakalimutan n'yo!"
Namilog ang mata ko. When I realized I was fisting Zion's bun and pulling his ponytail off, nabitawan ko kaagad at tinulak siya.
"Pasensya na," Zion chuckled sexily beside me as he wrapped an arm on my stomach and hugged me from behind. "Sabik lang si misis."
It earned whistles and teases.
He was just hugging me from behind, his chin on my shoulder while stealing kisses on my cheek and jaw.
And I hated how I liked it. Hated how good it felt. How warm it gets to be in those arms.
May reception pa nga talaga.
"Thank you for coming. And I'm sorry for the trouble he caused," sumulyap ako kay Zion na nakapaywang na ro'n para tikman ang spaghetti.
"It's okay, I'm an event organizer so, it's just fine." Clyte smiled.
"Event organizer? I thought you're a nurse?" Takang tanong ko.
"How did you—" she nodded, "ah, of course, sinabi ni Zy but yes, I'm a nurse but I'm an organizer, too. I liked decorating for birthdays, weddings...name it, I could do it." She winked.
"It's beautiful," I commended. "For such a brief time, you turned this rooftop to straight out of a fairytale book."
Namula siya, "grabe ka naman sa fairytale! Pero uh, thank you! I was just doing this for fun and you know? Sideline."
"Hello! Hi, you're very pretty..." a sleepy Crest Sandejas appeared from her behind, kumislap pa ang antok na mga mata at nanliliit.
She was wearing a black and white penguin sleepwear onesies, kulot ang buhok at malambing ang ngiti.
To be told I was beautiful by such stunning ladies was overwhelming.
"Thank you," I answered. "And I heard you chose this gown for me. It's beautiful. You had a great taste in fashion. Do you have a boutique or something? I'd like to expand my wardrobe if I got some free time."
Her sleepy eyes brightened.
"O-oh, I do? You liked the gown?" She sounded worried and awed.
Tumango ako at bahagyang umikot. I heard their collective gasps.
"Oh, you have a tattoo!" Crest squealed. "Girl, it's hot! OMG, I didn't think much when Zion told me to choose something backless for you but...wow. Did it hurt?"
I let them check on my tattoo and shook my head.
The pain was nothing compared to my training and punishments.
"It's okay," I mumbled then slowly turned my eyes back at them. "Do you want to try some tattoos? I know an artist."
"Yeah, but maybe a small one?" Crest smiled sweetly, "I don't think kaya ko ang malaki. Lalo na sa likod, I think it's masakit?"
I shook my head, "not really, it's...fine."
While Crest was busy checking me and asking if I was comfortable with her chosen gown and how I liked it, I noticed Clyte watching me closely.
"You have beautiful eyes," she complimented, "it has rims—"
Napalunok ako at nag-iwas ng tingin, "will we slice the cake?"
"O-oh...oh, yes!" Clyte gasped and nodded, "gosh, I forgot!"
Bigla siyang tumakbo, "Zion! Get over here! Alchiel! You said you'll help! Stop your glutton cousin from eating the foods! Wala pang picture 'yan!" She scolded.
Alchiel cursed under his breath and smacked his cousin's nape before running to the pissed Clyte.
Nabulunan tuloy ang asawa ko.
I frowned, suddenly annoyed at him.
"Wife—"
"Drink!" I hissed, "katakawan mo kasing tanga ka!"
"Aray ha—" he coughed harder, "fuck! Ang pogi ko pa para mamatay!"
I waited until he finished the drink. I touched his chest, annoyed.
"Are you okay?!" I asked, checking his face. "Bakit ang takaw-takaw mo kasi! Wala pa nga raw picture may tinidor ka na kaagad pang-spaghetti!"
He was still softly coughing and covering his mouth. His blue eyes locked on mine.
"Tang inang Chiel-taba kasi! Dumikit tuloy sa lalamunan ko 'yong balat ng lumpia!" He glared at Alchiel helping Clyte and Crest innocently with the plates for the guests.
When he recovered, his lowered his hand and leveled our gaze, "nag-alala ka sa 'kin, misis?"
I rolled my eyes and shook my head, "careful. You can't die choking with food, okay? I'll only let you die on my hands after I choke you."
He gave me a scandalous look, "kinky..." he whistled.
"In your dreams," I smirked at him and lifted the tissue to wipe his lips. "I'll choke you until you lose your breath, so better watch out in your sleep. Rather sleep with one eye open, honey."
He caught my waist and let me wipe his mouth, watching me closely.
"Ang ganda mo," he whispered.
My face heated, I didn't answer.
"Hindi mo ba aaminin na ang gwapo ko?" Dagdag niya pa.
"You know, Zion," I met with his gaze, "if I have a sewing kit right now, tatahiin ko 'yang bibig mo. Pinaglihi ka ba sa pwet ng manok?"
His mouth parted, "what the hell, wife? Do I look like a chicken butt to you?"
Tinitigan ko lang siya. He gaped.
"I can't believe this," he whispered. "Alam mo bang dapat feeling blessed ka kasi si Zion ang asawa mo? Zion Sandejas, Bevurleigh. Zion. Macho. Gwapo. Perfect—"
"In short, may katok sa utak," I finished him. "Okay. Edi thank you sa kung sino mang nagbigay sa 'yo sa 'kin. Kanino nga galing? So, I could return items with defect?"
He covered his mouth and touched his chest.
"Nakakasakit ka na ng damdamin, Mrs. Sandejas,"
I flushed with that.
Mrs. Sandejas...
"Yieee, nagustuhan," tinusok niya ang pisngi ko.
I slapped his hand away, "shut up." Then I walked away while he's chuckling behind me, catching my body again for an embrace.
I could see the judge nodding his head, convinced maybe that we got married for love. Zion was a great actor, if I didn't know about what's this all about? I'll believe he genuinely wants me, too.
"And now for the newly wed's first slice of cake together!" Clyte announced with a sweet smile.
Crest was with the camera, snapping photos.
Sumulyap ako kay Zion, "why bother with a reception?"
"Marriage without celebration is not good," he answered. "Hindi raw magiging prosperous at abundant ang family."
I blinked and laughed, "what?!"
He looked at me with awe, fascinated at something.
"That's what Dad said. Kaya tignan mo, perfect kaming pamilya. Tignan mo kami, naabunan ng pagpapala ng kagandahan at kagwapuhan." He stated, "'Di naman sa pagmamayabang."
"Oh, fuck," I closed my eyes. Tumawa siya.
"It's true, wife," aniya. "Tanong mo pa kay Dad—"
"Hold this," ani Alchiel na inabutan ako ng kutsilyo pang-slice ng cake. I took it and watched the sharp end with fascination.
What a pretty knife. This looks new. Makintab pa at matulis.
I touched the tip. If I hit the jugular on someone's throat, they'll die in blood lost for a couple of minutes.
If I stab Zion with this, will I be able to get away and escape? He won't die, of course, but it's enough distraction.
"Don't even try, wife," he answered me with amusement and when I moved, I realized he was pointing a knife on my waist!
I groaned.
Fuck, I didn't even noticed!
I glared at him, binasa niya ang labi at pinaramdam sa akin ang malamig na dulo ng kutsilyo.
"Fine..." I gave up.
He smirked and twirled the knife off my waist and placed it back on the table, inabot niya ang kamay kong may hawak ng kutsilyo at dinala sa may cake.
"Come on, baby, smile for the camera," he whispered on my ear as we cut a piece from the cake to put it on a small plate. The camera flashed on our faces.
"Beautiful," Crest cheered, "more pa! With the cake naman!"
Clyte extended two forks for us. Kinuha ko ang isa, Zion took the other one.
I don't know what to do. Sumulyap ako kay Clyte.
"Subuan kayo ng cake," bulong niya.
I almost made a face but nodded.
Why are weddings so cheesy?
Kumuha ako ng cake sa platito, Zion did the same as we locked our gazes. I lifted the fork with the cake to feed him while I slowly part my mouth to eat the piece from his fork but instead of feeding me, he ate it instead.
I froze. The audience groaned.
"The fuck, Zy?!" Chiel burst out laughing.
"What?" Zion asked while munching on the cake and blinking innocently, confused.
"Oh, good lord," Clyte sighed, "you are supposed to feed your wife cake!" She exclaimed.
Zion blinked rapidly and watched my sharp glare with wide eyes.
"O-oh," he swallowed. "Hindi pala self-service?" At sa oras na 'yon, gusto ko na lang ipakain sa kanya ang cake...kasama ang tinidor.
