"Ugh... Wha...?"
Where am I...? This place... It's unfamiliar...
"Oh! You're awake!"
I looked up and saw Tetsurō and Kenma, who were both wearing clothes fit for lounging around the beach.
"We're in Brazil! Isn't that exciting?" Tetsurō hummed, patting me on the head, "Ya can't go outside with us, though. It's too dangerous. So! You'll be staying in the hotel room!"
"Don't cause any trouble..." Kenma added.
With that, they both left the room. I looked out the window, seeing the beach. I've never been to the beach... Wait... Brazil! I'm in Brazil! That means... Slowly, I stood, waiting for a few moments to make sure they were gone before leaving the room. I crept down the hallways and down the stairs, not wanting to risk seeing them in the elevator.
When I made it to the first floor, I stopped in my tracks, seeing that they were there, too. They walked out of the front door, and after a few seconds, I did, too. They walked in the direction of the beach, so I turned in the opposite direction.
I first walked, but then it slowly turned into a sprint. I've always been weak... The weak link, if you will. But... Right now... the adrenaline going through me made me feel faster than a professional track runner. So I ran, and I ran, and I ran, relishing in my newfound freedom.
