It let out a sudden gust of steam that went right towards us, blowing all of us off of the wall. It's so hot... I couldn't let myself freeze up, though, because then I would fall to my death. I quickly activated my odm gear and latched onto the side of the wall, panting as I looked around at everyone else.
I looked down in horror and saw Samuel, one of my fellow cadets, get hit in the head with a brick and fall. I grit my teeth, and with a swift movement, I used my odm gear to keep him from falling. It pierced his leg, and he was dangling upside down, but at least he was alive. At least, I hope he is...
I looked back up and saw the huge fingers of the titan grab the top of the wall. There was a huge explosion below us that caused the gate to cave in, just like what happened at Shiganshina, so I assumed it kicked again.
"[NAME]!" Eren shouted, causing me to look at him, "You take care of Samuel! Four teams are to ready reinforcement cannons! Prepare for battle! Your objective lies straight ahead! At the colossal titan, now!" He started charging at it. "Now's our chance! Don't let it get away! It's the only one capable of breaking the wall! We must put it down!"
