"Ugh..."
My head lolled to the side, my glassy eyes slowly opening. My vision was a bit blurred, but I was able to make out a girl.
"Oh! You're awake! Good!" She said, holding a hand in front of my face, "How many fingers am I holding up?"
I just blinked, my eyes squinting slightly. She sighed, not meanly, and lowered her arm.
"That's not surprising... You were poisoned. Shinobu-sama gave you the antidote, so you should be feeling better very soon. I'll leave you to get more rest. Don't try to get up. I'll be back later."
With those words, she left, leaving me alone.
'Where am I...?' I thought, trying to clear my head.
I managed to make my vision clearer. When I looked around, I saw that I was in some sort of hospital room. Am I at a hospital? How will I get home? My mom is probably worried sick about me...
Against that girl's words, I slowly sat up, wincing slightly as my head started aching. There was a glass of water at my bedside, so I took it and sipped at it, making me feel a lot better. I set it back down and attempted to stand. That was a horrible mistake. My legs were still weak and numb, so I immediately collapsed. What if someone walks in on me like this? That would be so embarrassing...
As if someone heard my thoughts, the door slid open. I gasped in horror, looking to see who opened it.

Huh?
A boy with long back and teal hair walked in, his eyes the same color of teal. ... Is that who I think it is? But... No, it can't be...!
"Yuichiro...?" I uttered, attempting to pull myself up and failing miserably.
He looked at me and blinked, his eyes slowly widening. He recognizes me too...!
"Yuichiro! It's me, [NAME]! You remember me, don't you?!" I yelped.
"... [NAME]..." He mumbled, taking a slow step closer to me, "... Yuichiro...? Who's Yuichiro...? I'm Muichiro..."
Muichiro... So it was Yuichiro who died... But why would Muichiro leave? I wasn't able to think about it too much. At the speed of light, Muichiro was by my side, holding me tightly in arms that were surprisingly muscular.
"[NAME]... You're back..."
