I found myself in a comfortable room with Shinobu, Mitsuri, and Kanae along with a few other girls. There was Kanao, whose eyes had a black sclera and skin had a pink flower pattern. Apparently, she was the adopted sister of Shinobu and Kanae. There was also Makio, Hinatsuru, and Suma, the apparent three wives of Uppermoon Two. They had their own features, but they had the same demon traits - colored sclera, horns, pointed ears, and red spots on their skin.
Honestly, I don't know what it is, but for whatever reason, I found myself getting... comfortable around them. They were all very kind and welcoming, making me feel at home in this unfamiliar and confusing environment. I probably shouldn't have gotten as comfortable as I did, but they managed to convince me that Ubuyashiki was telling the truth about my mother.
"Y'know, [NAME]," Hinatsuru started, "How did you meet Oyakata-sama? I know we keep saying this, but he talks about you nonstop. I've been wondering what you did to get him so interested in you."
The others nodded along, all looking at me with interest.
"Oh... Well, um..." I said, looking to the side, "I didn't really meet him. We just locked eyes once."
"Hmm... Well, Oyakata-sama always did have a knack for telling good and bad people apart," Shinobu said.
"Yeah, but he's, like, obsessed," Kanae followed, leaning against her hand.
"But I'd be obsessed, too, if I were in Oyakata-sama's shoes!" Mitsuri interjected.
"Yes, but he's married."
It seemed like Kanae was going to continue, but the door suddenly slid open, revealing Ubuyashiki himself. He was smiling sweetly, but, once again, it didn't reach his eyes.
"I've come for, [NAME]," he said, "I need to have a chat with her."
I looked at the girls, who didn't seem to know why he came out of the blue. With a bit of hesitation, I stood and walked over to him. He shut the door behind me and grabbed my wrist, pulling me along. He's surprisingly fast...
"I thought Shinobu was going to introduce you to everyone..." He said, a slight edge to his voice, "No worries. You won't see everyone, but you don't have to. You'll mostly be in contact with my top three, anyway, so I'll introduce you to them."
He led me to another room, which was the largest yet. I saw three people. One was a man with pure white skin with green horns and marks on his skin. Another was another, much taller man with maroon horns and red spots on his skin - a lot like the ones of Makio, Hinatsuru, and Suma. The third, however, was the one who caught my attention the most. He was the tallest of all of them, with an extremely muscular body, pure white eyes, and two different pairs of arms.
"These, my dear, are my top three Uppermoons," Ubuyashiki said. Dear? "Uppermoon Three, Shinazugawa Sanemi..." He gestured to the pale man. "... Uppermoon Two, Uzui Tengen..." He gestured to the one with the red spots. "... and Uppermoon One, Himejima Gyomei." He finally gestured to the tallest one.
They all bowed, making me feel a bit uncomfortable. Ubuyashiki didn't introduce me to them, so I assumed they already knew who I was.
"Ah... Um... It's nice to meet you...?" I said hesitantly.
Satisfied, Ubuyashiki dismissed them and took my wrist again, leading me to the room that I was asleep in.
"Don't worry about anything. I'll take care of everything for you. I assume that Shinobu explained to you about my failed attempt to turn you into a demon, so don't try to push yourself until I find the Blue Spiderlily, alright?"
Without waiting for me to answer, he took me inside and shut the door, leaving me alone once more.

"What do you see, Hinaki?" The young demon asked, squished by his sisters as he tried to hear her reply.
"... It's a girl..." She murmured, "... A human?"
The quintuplets bursted into chatter, but it was quickly silenced by the oldest.
"We need to tell mother! I mean, what would father want with a human girl?"
The siblings all murmured in agreement, and they rushed down the hallway to find their mother.
