Chapter 9 : Satan
19 PM, London. Britain.
BOOM !!!!
Two being is fighting in the city as they destroy everything they pass by... They are Edwin and Mika.
Edwin : DAMN YOU INSECT !!!!
Edwin swing his weapons around as he try to hit Mika at less one time. But Mika just dodge everything that Edwin throw at him. After that, Mika use his cannons and shoot it at Edwin. Edwin just use his Gravity Shield to block the bullet, this cause his vision to get blinded by the smoke and got surprised attacked by Mika.
Edwin : GUH ?!!
Edwin stumble back at Mika attack he then look up at Mika and return to stay calm.
Edwin : ... "Tch... Look like i'm the one who is underestimating my enemy. This guy... He is an abnormal... He is standing in front of me and fight me one on one... Even Asagi need some help to defeat another me... And yet... He is fighting me face to face... A being that the Mother Sea can't control... This is the only universe he exist in... I'm sure of that... What is he ?"
Mikazuki : Oi.
Edwin : Huh ?
Edwin got punch in his face and got sent back for miles.
Edwin : GAH ?!!!
Edwin slide on the ground and jump in the air. He then launch at Mika as they start to trade blow with their weapons.
Edwin : "I need to kill this guy as all cost... And maybe i can absorb him to gain his power. Wait... Ah, I see what are you now."
Edwin then grin evilly as he start to speed up his attack. Mika also start to get faster to keep up with him.
Mikazuki : What's so funny ?
Edwin : Nothing. Just that i'm glad. I'm glad because you exist.
Mikazuki : Hah ?
Edwin : If i kill you, i'll absorb you and gain your power. Even if it mean that your power come from this armor but like the Elder said. If you give an idiot a powerful weapon then that weapon will also become useless.
Mikazuki : So you aim for my skill or what ?
Edwin : That is a parts of the things I want from you.
Edwin then kick Mika away as Mika easily gain back his balance. Mika then look at Edwin who is smirking widely as he slowly approach Mika.
Edwin : I know a normal human can't control such a thing like that armor. With you talent, i can do so much more than just controling a walking scrap metal like you... And you have something more than just talent and skill that i want.
Mikazuki : ... Well that's unfortunate. Because i won't let you.
Edwin : What's your name human ? I want to know the name of the one i'm about to absorb. After all, it's rare for me to do so.
Mikazuki : ... Mikazuki... That's all i will told you.
Edwin : No matter, that's all i need to know. You know Mikazuki ? This is only a small faction of a big world.
Mikazuki : ... What are you on about ?
Edwin : You see Mika. This universe exist all because of me.
Mikazuki : ...
Edwin : I myself can Reset a universe whenever i want. And at a result, i create a whole new universe with my full memory. Slowly, i created many universe to the point it become an infinitely expanding Multiverse. And there is something in between it. The Mother Ocean.
Mikazuki : ... The Mother Ocean ?
Edwin : Yes. Listen to me. The Human World and the Demon World are but drops of water floating in The Mother Ocean. Therefore, from that time the two drops of water were combined, destruction was promised... Now you and I are just like gravity, mixing two drops of water into one! The drawn water droplets overlap and combine. Eventually, led by more gravity... it will drip into The Mother Ocean and then pop. The World will be dispersed and recreated.
Mikazuki : ...
Edwin : Which mean there are countless of events that could, will and never happen in every universes... And you are one of them.
Edwin point his finger at Mika who is just standing there looking at him.
Edwin : You weren't suppose to exist in any and i mean ANY universe. And yet you are here, that's what make you special. Your existence is a singularity in this universe. And because of that, the laws that The Mother Ocean and The Lilith Multiverse applied to every being become irrelevant to you. You bypassed all the rules that this world make and applied on every being no matter how powerful they are. Time, space, fate, reality and even causality. That is the main reason why i want to absorb you. If i absorb you, i'll gain the ultimate power and ascended to the higher level with your unique existence.
Mikazuki : ...
Edwin : Ah, look like i talk too much. So now i'll focus on killing you.
Mikazuki : ... Ok... But don't cry when you lose.
Edwin : Heh, it's not like you can defeat me.
Just as Edwin said that, he recieve a punch straight to his face as he fly back to the center of London city. Edwin look up in surprised just to recieve a stomp in his face that literally destroy the center of London.
Mikazuki : What were you saying about killing me ?
Edwin jump up and launch at Mika like a madman as he lost his cool.
Edwin : YOU BRAT !!!!
Mikazuki : Stop shouting.
As Edwin fly at Mika, Mika use his claws and stab Edwin mouth from downward. He then flip Edwin and slam him on the ground. Edwin got bounced off after that but he quickly gain back his balance.
Edwin : ... "This kid... He is way worse than the Kotaro brat... If i'm Adam, Asagi is Eve, that Kotaro brat is the Snake... Then this kid is Satan himself..."
Edwin start to grit his teeth as he look at Mika who is slowly approaching him menacingly.
Edwin : "I must retreat now. If i stay here any longer then he will definitely kill me... I hate this... I just told him that i'll kill him a moment ago and now i'm running away like a coward... My pride won't let me surrender to him like this... I decided... I'll kill him... But wait, what is he doing ?"
Edwin look at what Mika is doing and turn pale immediately... Mika just chop down the Big Ben down and throw it at Edwin. Before Edwin could do anything, Mika blizt him and grab his face as Mika slam Edwin's face into the Big Ben. Mika then quickly blizt out after the Big Ben crash down into the ground.
Mikazuki : ...
Mika look at what he did in silent. Then someone call him from his back.
??? : Oi Mika.
Mika turn around and saw Kotaro with 4 Demons corpses stuck on his 4 blades. Asagi also follow behind Kotaro.
Kotaro : Yo. Look like you did a number on Edwin.
Asagi : Are you ok Mika ?
Mikazuki : I'm fine.
Kotaro : Welp, look like mission complete and just on time. Our way back home is here.
All of them look up and saw some choppers flying towards them.
Mikazuki : ...
Asagi : I can go back home now... Thank you Mika~.
Mikazuki : No problem... What happened to that weird lady ?
Asagi : She escape... Unfortunately...
Mikazuki : It's fine.
Mika look back at the broken Big Ben as he saw a bat fly away.
Mikazuki : We can still count this as a win.
Mika, Kotaro and Asagi all return to Japan after that.
