The drowning

My star

Miaisgorgeous

Life is just a dream, they say. A frantic, unawoken blur of a locust's imagination. And the world? It can be so cruel, offering us no promises, no mercy. Yet in the middle of all this hollow noise, I found you. Or maybe we just happened to meet. We don't need grand vows. As long as neither of us lets go, this is the only real thing I have to hold onto.

I used to think about reaching for the stars, but I stopped. Your presence is a light far more tangible than anything in that sky. We all carry hidden chapters, don't we? Those dark corners where the sun never dares to reach. Keep them. You don't need to be an open book for anyone. Your boundaries are what make you whole, and it's enough for me that we met inside those silent, unread pages.

Meeting you was a sudden strike of fate, but staying is my own choice. A stubborn, quiet choice. Snow melts, flowers bloom, and years just the vanish. That's just the mechanical way of the world. The only thing that actually defies those laws is the moment our paths crossed.

Even when this dream finally ends, the fact that I once met you will be the only mark I leave in this indifferent universe. I don't need the world to see the full picture. I've accepted yours, appreciate you. Especially the chapters we choose never to show.
