The Depth of Hell
My mouth was a tinny faster than my brain. Now that my brain has caught up to what my mouth just did, the system reports that the lagging might last for an infinite time. Looking at her head cautiously turning, I realize how pretty she has always been.
"Oh, it's you! Our customer at the bar! Hello!!"
Oh, hello. It is... me
"You shouldn't startle me like that in the crowd, for a sec, I thought you're a pervert!"
Oh. I'm sorry for that!
"I'm sorry for that though! What's up?" she chuckles as she says.
At first, I was at a loss for words before her appearance, but now, I'm in a real bad shape. I can't get myself to say anything! Wait. Can I talk to her about how beautiful she is! Gwahhhhhhhhhhh! How am I such an idiot?!? This ain't easy as those people say!
"Are you out drinking today too, sir?"
Oh yes, she's with her professional bartender's voice just returned. It sounds so distant, like a moment we're here, the next I was already sent to Neptune while she's on Jupiter.
There's the song, "500 miles", where the singer vows to walk 500 miles for his lover, and even 1000 miles is okay too. I walked only a few steps to catch up to her, however felt like 500 miles already.
Realizing she's safe and all, and I'm still grabbing her arm, I'm super embarrassed.
"H..hey! Oh! Ah.... Oh, I'm sorry..."
I let her arm go. Now that she's fixing her gaze at me, I have no clue what to do. My neuron system is really ceasing to function.
"You're going to work now too?"
She nods excitedly. Isn't that nice? How nice! This must be my chance!
"I'm going there too! Can I walk with you to Universal?"
Before I could happily enjoy the moment of walking with Eric, pixie white hair has disappeared to the far ahead crowd. A moment ago, I was so sure that her ankle's all black and blue swollen.
"Mister Customer!!!!! I'm sorry, I'm already late for work! I'm running! See yaaa there!"
Ain't tell me this isn't the depth of hell?
Butwait, isn't her ankle hurting?
