First chapter, and I'm extremely excited.
Also, more things from the story line are going to be changed than just the characters.

Brandon let out a sigh as he stared out of the car window. His parents had recently gotten divorced, and his mom luckily got custody of him, his brother, and his sister. Although he was upset about having to move, he was happy that Ritchie didn't have to be with their dad. They had been driving for 5 hours and were finally arriving at their new house. When they saw it, the triplets were less than impressed.

''It's a shack.'' Brandon couldn't agree with his sister more.

''It's not so bad...'' Brandon knew his mother was trying to sugar coat things and keep them happy.

''It's... Victorian.'' Brandon let out a silent sigh as his mom tried to make things seem better than they actually were.

''Come on, let's take a look inside.'' The triplets got out of the car, not wanting to annoy their mother, before heading towards the front door.

The group of four had went up to the front steps and their mother let out a sigh of content.

''It's just like I remember.'' Ash dolled her eyes before responding.

''Except run down.''Brandon agreed in his head.

''If your great-aunt Lucinda hadn't let us stay, I don't know where we would have gone.'' Brandon opened his mouth to respond but his mother stopped him with a glare.

''We should be grateful.'' With that, their mother went inside the house.

Ash let out a tired sigh before following their mother. His younger brother Ritchie than hopped up the stairs before turning to Brandon.

''Come on, Brandon.'' With that he went inside, not seeing Brandon smile fondly at him.

Brandon doesn't always show it, but he does love his siblings. Even Ash, who always gets into disagreements with him. He always catches her looking at him or Ritchie with protectiveness in her eyes when she thought no one was looking.

He let out a fond sigh before going up the steps, freezing in his tracks when he heard something. He turned around and saw nothing, so he assumed he just heard an animal. He than turned and walked to the front door before heading inside.

''I heard she's starving herself to death.'' Those were the words Brandon heard his sister say as soon as he walked through the door.

''Aunt Lucinda? She's just old.'' Brandon knew that Ritchie was too nice to say anything bad about anyone... at least, on purpose.

''I heard mom on the phone, aunt Lucy thinks little men bring her food.'' Ritchie blinked before responding.

''Old and crazy.'' Brandon rolled his eyes before finally adding on to the conversation.

''What do you expect, she's in a nuthouse.'' Both his sister and his brother turned towards him.

Before anyone could say anything, they heard a squeak come from Ritchie's pocket as he pulled out a pair of mice. He smiled and pat their heads with his other hand before putting them back in his pocket.

''Ritchie, mom fold you not to bring the mice.'' Ash was surprised that Ritchie would have brought the mice, seeing as he never disobeyed their mother.

''Ash is right, she said you can have normal pets here.'' Ritchie looked down sadly when Brandon agreed with Ash, causing the older boy to flinch.

''Why'd you bring them here?'' Ritchie looked at Ash before answering.

''If I'd let them go back in the city, they would've gotten caught in a trap or something.'' Ash sighed before looking at Brandon, the two silently agreeing on something.

''We won't tell mom.'' Ritchie smiled and hugged the two before backing up once their mom entered the room.

''Why don't you three start bringing things in from the car?'' The children nodded at their mother's request before going out the front door.

Ash went out first, followed by Ritchie, than Brandon, who was stopped by their mom before he could exit.

''Brandon.'' He froze and turned to his mom.

''What?'' His mom sighed before speaking.

''This is a chance to start over... for all of us. Okay?'' Brandon knew what his mom was talking about before letting out a sigh and leaving, not responding to his mother.

He looked at his younger brother and he wasn't sure if he knew why Ritchie was so happy, or if he didn't know why he was so happy...

Especially because of what their father did to the youngest of the three...

Remember to always try and have a good day/night. Bye wolf pups!!
