Chapter 8
Let's begin.....
Ragini comes out of washroom changing into a green colour salwar.
And he was sleeping covering the comfort on to his face.
As there was the smell of jasmine and the candles still.
She moves and opens the windows so the smell would go!
She moves to him and pulls the comfort down when he opens his eyes. She felt like if she caught of doing something.
He looks at her:kya.. kya kar rahi thi?(what..what were you doing?)
She looks on scared:woh..woh..you have covered the com..comfort on face...
He smiles:tum itna darrti kyu ho yaar mujhse (why you get scared of me?)
He holds her arm and pulls her a bit making her to sit.
Sanskar:if you get scared of me like this then i will also be scared!
Ragini looks at him.
Sanskar:why are you staring at me?
She quickly bends lashes.
Sanskar:noo.. stare me if you look down i feel miserable!
Ragini looks at his hand which was holding her hand.
She was really feeling something.
Sanskar smiles:Ragini..
She was still looking at their hands.
Sanskar bit musically:Raginiii!
Still she was lost!
Sanskar continuing with same musical tone:Ragini... Ragini...
She looks at him.
He raises his eye brows:Kya hua?
He looks at her she was still looking down.
Sanskar: actually i wanted to share something.. important!!!
She looks at him.
Sanskar: Actually it's not the i believe it.. don't mind that i am saying this but i think you should know this!
She unusually feared again.
Sanskar:people consider that i am handsome so it's really disheartening to find that you don't find me as one.
He himself laughs at his own sentence.
Ragini smiles and lowers her lashes.
Sanskar: I don't know what people consider but you are so beautiful!
She could feel that her cheeks were burning!
He bends his head bit to see her and she looks at him.
Sanskar:not even small kid gets scared of me. I will grow horns then,if a beautiful girl like you get scared of me like this!
She smiles.
Sanskar:first of all..do you know my name?
She nods.
He smiles:then tell me..
She looks at him with an expressionless.
Sanskar:No say my name then i will believe you know!
Just then someone knocks the door.
She was about to stand but she was pulled back as he was still holding her hand.
Sanskar:First tell my name?if people find that you don't know about your husband's name then everyone will make fun of you!
Ragini:Sanskar!
Sanskar:Damn...is it my name?
Ragini looks at him:mamu..mamu ne yahi bataya tha.i don't know!
She tucks her hair strings which fell on her face.
Sanskar smiles:Chill.. it's my name only but i was just thinking that it feel so nice to listen from you.so you will call me Sanskar.
Geet knocks the door:will someone open the door or should i come later.
Sanskar shouts back:Dii yaar..now only we started to speak you came to disturb.
Ragini looks at him and softly:no i will open the door
Geet:ohh.. that's the case then okay i will come after sometime.
She goes.
Ragini turns to door.while he noticed her palm where "Pawan" was still seen.though the Mehendi patch covered it.
Sanskar smiles and looks at her:Tumhe Pawan Pasand Tha?(you liked Pawan?)
She immediately looks at him listening it.
Sanskar: Don't be scared.i don't mind anything you can say whatever you feel to me..
Ragini simply nods being hesitant.
Sanskar: you didn't knew about their demands?
Ragini looks at him and nods in no!
Sanskar:look you don't have to feel bad about that or if you think i might think something..No, don't keep such thoughts but it's up to you that what time you will take to forget about that...
He smiles.
She again looks at their hands.
Sanskar: what's there here..
And he sees their hands.
Sanskar:not comfortable...?
Ragini looks at him.
He smiles and leaves her hand:am sorry.i didn't realise when i held your hand.i didn't mean to..tumhe bura lag gaya ho tho...
Ragini:Mujhe bura nahi laga
He smiles: that's great..between why did you wake so early?
Ragini:7:30
Sanskar: it's now, you have woke up at 6?
She looks at him: it's...my habit!
Sanskar:if you now open the door you will find everyone sleeping.even dii who came to call,but it's just a part of her teasing but she came sleepy i know that... nobody wakes up here early.if function or holiday i must it sometimes turns 11 but except mom,she would be doing Yoga now!
Ragini:can..can i ask you something?
Sanskar smiles:No ..don't!
She bends her head not able to face him.
Sanskar: arey you can ask as much you want.you don't need hmm(acts of thinking) permission..not at all!!
Ragini:you have not seen me before and you might be having some expectations.
She sees him who was smiling and he nods encouraging her to continue.
Ragini:and ....it was just some hours and wedding.it's not easy!
She looks at him again as he was smiling and bites his lower lip!
Sanskar:finished?
She didn't reply anything.
Sanskar: you know why i was smiling?because i was expecting this question from you from previous night and when you asked i felt like something..ahh..leave it.. if i start then I won't stop explaining it for an hour at least.so coming to the point (he smiles and after a pause)yeah i have not seen before and the worst reality about me that just days before i was all saying i won't marry but see.. I didn't had an interest in marriage
She looks at him.
Sanskar:i mean earlier i didn't had but now i do have in my married life of course before you misunderstand.
She smiles a bit
And he continued:About expectations ... I don't know i have not kept any expectations only but now after being with you i feel like ...
He smiles but didn't reply.
She looks at him:what you feel?
Sanskar:nahi...
Ragini:please tell me...
He didn't reply..
Ragini: you have to tell me.
Sanskar:it seems someone is interested to know.or rather shouldi change that someone is showing up their rights?
She turns her face with a smile and her cheeks start to burn. Hope she doesn't end with burnt cheeks!
Sanskar:i feel like ....pata nahi!
She looks at him..
Sanskar: I don't know but accha lag raha hai that I didn't keep any expectations.
He smiles blinking his eyes:some hours wedding thing... it's not necessary that we should know and then only proceed.now we can know,i feel so excited and thrilling because i have a good listener with me!
She smiles.
Sanskar:but i am also a good listener.i don't know about you but i feel easy,now i feel that i should have married you long back.by now we would have been in love and we might be having kids too!
She looks at him.
He realises what he said: it's.. it's just i said for words...sometimes I don't realise what i say.
He looks other side feeling embarrassed and then looks at her:do you feel that i talk more?crossing limits?
She looks at him.
Sanskar:your silence is saying the answer i will try to control myself from speaking!
Ragini:no.nothing like that!
Sanskar smiles:really?
She smiles.
Sanskar:you know what,with the one whom i like so much i just speak,speak and speak.and with one i don't like to I don't even utter a word.and one with ehom the relation should be just hello hai, it's hello hai only!
She looks at him.
Sanskar acts of looking at phone:now don't think that i am telling that i like you...
She sees him controlling her smile.
Sanskar:mean i like you,i mean I don't..i mean i....let me change the sentence and you just delete what i said.i mean we are friends right ...
She smiles.
Sanskar:if you don't mind to think that i like you then i also won't mind!
He close his eyes turns his head:what am saying?
He looks at her:whatever the words i say to you specially which doesn't make sense... don't give importance!
Ragini was actually hungry.
Since previous day she couldn't have anything properly.
Sanskar looks at her:what happened?
She nods in no and stood:i..i will move out.
Sanskar nods.
She opens the door and moves out only to find some of the cousins of sanskar sleeping at hall and as said by Sanskar,everyone are sleeping.
She moved towards Kitchen.and was hesitant of moving and taking something.
Sanskar from behind.he guessed randomly:Hungry?
Ragini looks at him and doesn't reply.
Sanskar: actually we have ordered for the breakfast,they would be here in sometime.but until then....what would you like coffee or tea?
Ragini:No that's fine..
Sanskar smiles:Without hesitation and with full rights say coffee or tea!
Ragini was hesitant still..but:i will make it!
Sanskar:No how it sounds sending wife to kitchen on the first day itself!
Sanskar: I won't think anything neither my family members so say!
Ragini softly:Coffee!
Sanskar smiles:done.
Avantika comes there and sees:Sanskar..
Both looks at her.
Avantika in disbelief:you made Ragini to enter the kitchen?
Sanskar:no mom i was just making the coffee for us and do you want some!
Avantika smiles:in that case i want..
She smiles at Ragini.
And Ragini was about to bend to take her blessings when she stops:hamare yahan betiyan paav nahi choote.
Sanskar:haan Sab beton ko hi karna padta hai..
Avantika passes him a look:So do it..i want the coffee perfect since it's the first coffee my daughter-in-law is having here!
Sanskar: I don't know why before even i start to make i feel it will spoil!
Avantika: that's why i am telling you(and she turns to Ragini)Come let's sit in dining!
And they move out.
They sit in the dining.
Avantika smiles at her:i am not so very good in talking but still not too bad too.
Ragini smiles at her.
Avantika:i can understand you Ragini. But i would say Sanskar is very nice and i can assure you about that.
She smiles.
Avantika:and I won't say abruptly you have to accept everything. Take your own time. Sanskar was actually feared that he might be considered as a Substitute..but i am asking you try knowing him and accept him.
Sanskar comes there:what talks are going on..
He places the coffee tray on table.
Avantika:that if some day my son hurt then let me know i will twist his ear!
Sanskar:this was only left!
And they laughs.
Avantika signs Ragini to take the coffee.
And they drink the coffee.
In sometime everyone wakes up one by one and breakfast also been delivered and they have the food.
And later they start to play some games in between the family.
Ragini moves to room and sees her phone was ringing and she sees the caller ID "Pawan"
She looks on.
