Bryan is flying as fast as he could without dropping the baby in his arms.
He had to hurry to where his husband is waiting.
"Oh come on, Son of Aphrodite. Give me the baby and I'll let you and the son of Anubis live!" The voice of the Seductive Rose rings out from behind the demigod. Maniacal laughter echoes through the air.
Luckily Bryan spots his husband and the son of Hades next to an open portal.
He flies to them and nearly trips as he lands.
Inpu rushes towards his husband and son.
"We have to hurry. The portal won't stay open long." He tells Bryan who nods.
Bryan looks at his son with tear filled eyes and smiles softly.
"I'm sorry, Artemis. You will be much more safer in a different world than ours." He kisses Artemis's forehead.
Inpu does the same.
Bryan walks towards Xylo and hands him the baby.
"Don't worry, Bryan. I'll make sure Artemis ends up in a safe home." Xylo explains truthfully.
Bryan smiles thankfully at him.
"Thanks for helping, Xylo." Inpu says as he grabs Bryan's hand in comforting way.
"Your welcome, Inpu." Xylo says.
He turns towards the portal and hops in.
In The World Of MHO
Xylo appears out of a portal outside of a tall building.
While tightening his grip slightly on the baby in his arms, he looks around to see if the coast is clear.
Inside the building, children's laughter could be heard.
Xylo walks towards the building and sees a sign.
Lilium Orphanage
Artemis starts to cry so Xylo quickly rushes up the stairs.
He lightly sets Artemis on the ground.
As Xylo starts to stand back up, Artemis grabs his finger.
Xylo smiles softly.
"I'm sorry this had to happen to you. This is for your safety though." He explains quietly so only Artemis could hear.
Xylo lightly pulls his finger out of the baby's grip.
He notices a door bell and his presses it.
Xylo heads back to the portal and hops in before it disappears.
Inside the orphanage, a female orderly heads to the door and opens it.
She looks around confused before hearing a baby crying.
Looking down, she could see in a bundle of blankets a baby with black and white hair.
"Oh hi there!" The orderly says with a soft smile. She kneels down and picks up the baby. She notices writing on the blankets.
Artemis
"I'll take it that is your name. Well, Artemis let's get you inside and safe."
The orderly says and she heads inside with Artemis shutting the door behind her.
