Part 65 conclusion
Arnav looked at Khushi, perplexed.
"What happened, Arnav sir? Why are you looking at me like this?" she asked, reading his expression.
Arnav nodded no.
"I think you are tired. That's why you slept," Khushi said.
"Did I sleep?" Arnav asked, and Khushi wondered.
"I just woke you up..."
Arnav pressed his head. He didn't feel; he slept. Everything seemed like it happened in front of his eyes. He could not believe it was a dream.
"Let's go to the Palace. Uncle sent a squad. They will take care of this place..." Khushi said.
"Didn't Appa come?"
"He went to meet the Siddha Temple Pandit. I think he will bring him here"
"Ok, I will be here until he comes", Arnav said.
"He will come late, Arnav sir. He would tell him the matter, and then only he could bring him here..."
Cut him off,
"No problem. I will wait"
"Ok, then... I will also wait," Khushi said.
She went to the car and brought a tiffin box. She gave it to Arnav.
"What's this?" Arnav frowned.
"I guessed you might not wish to leave this place. So, I brought this for you," she extended it.
Taking it, Arnav opened it. He saw something in that, but he didn't know what it was because he had never seen that before. He took it and bit it.
"Mmm... tastes good", he said, chewing it.
"This is called PANIYARAM. One of my favourites..."
"Oh..." he took another bite.
"You too take one, after all, this is your favourite...", he said.
Khushi took one and munched it. Arnav extended it to the squad members. They nodded no with a hesitant smile.
"Come on... take one"
"No, your highness..." They took a back step, smiling hesitantly.
"It's my order", Arnav said rigidly.
They took them and ate smilingly. They liked their prince's simplicity and the way he treated everyone equally.
They ate it and drank water. That was when Arvind came with the Siddha Temple Pandit. They saw the Shiv linga. The pandit joined his hands and prayed, closing his eyes.
"Pandit says we should build a temple for Lord Shiva", Arvind told Arnav and Khushi.
"Wow, this is super cool news", Khushi looked at Arnav smilingly.
"Yeah, our village name is Shivan Kudil, but we have no Temple for Lord Shiva. It seems he wants a house in this village..." Arvind said excitedly.
"How did you find this Shiv Linga?" The Pandit asked, even though Arvind told him slightly.
"I rubbed the ring on the stone as my ring pricked my finger. That was when the stone began to bleed. Khushi guessed something and started removing the mud around the stone. Then only we saw this Shiv Linga"
"He got this ring near Kala Bairava Temple when he came to our village", Khushi said.
"Is it?" The Pandit wondered.
"Yes..." Arnav removed the ring and gave it to the Pandit.
He caressed the ring and checked. He looked at Arnav and asked,
"You said it pricked your finger, but it's so smooth"
Arnav snatched the ring and checked. He looked at the Pandit, perplexed.
"It really pricked me. Khushi also knows..."
Khushi nodded yes.
"It's all his play..." The Pandit said, looking at the Shiv Linga.
"He made you find the ring then, made it prick your finger and made you scratch it on the stone...God must be great...!" he said.
Arnav got Goosebumps, hearing that. he felt proud to be the chosen one.
"Find a sacred date to start the temple work", Arvind said to the Pandit.
"I will check and let you know"
"Arnav, you go home. I will come later"
Arnav nodded and looked at Khushi. She followed him.
"What do you think, Khushi?"
"I think nothing"
"When you came to the place, I was sleeping..."
"Yeah I saw that"
"Actually, I didn't sleep"
Khushi chuckled.
"Arnav sir, I saw you sleeping... why do you deny?"
"No, Khushi... I slept and had a dream but it didn't seem like dream"
"What did you see in your dream?"
Arnav told her about his dream. Khushi sighed.
"Why?"
"I don't know why only you have such experiences. But I'm happy"
"Why?"
"Didn't Ghorakar say, this is our last birth and we will die together?"
"So?"
"What else I need than this? I often think I should not take another birth but get moksha. It feels good to know this is my last birth"
"Khushi, it's a dream..."
"No, Arnav sir... it's not just a dream. Mark my words, it will happen."
"How are you so confident?"
"Didn't I see? After you stepped into this village, much more unbelievable things are happening in this village. Ghorakar said he would not appear in front of you but he didn't say he will not appear in your dreams. You too say it didn't seem like a dream. That means, he met you but not in person"
Arnav nodded.
"Do you notice one thing?"
"What?"
"He said we will die together after living happily"
Khushi nodded smiling.
"That means, we will be happy together and die together, right?" She asked.
"So, we don't have to bothered about anyone"
"We don't have to bothered about our wedding but the way it will happen. I wish no unpleasant things will happen"
"It's not our concern, Khushi. What should happen will happen. We can't change it nor, stop it. So, stop thinking about it" Arnav said.
"Wow, Arnav sir... you too started, taking like me" she laughed and Arnav smiled.
"I think we should get married soon, before Amma release them from house arrest"
"Tell Uncle about it. He will fix it immediately."
"I wish he would... Amma got conscious again. Then why delay?"
"Uncle and aunty will fix it" Khushi said.
At the same time,
"Fix Arnav and Khushi's wedding date also", he asked the Pandit.
"He nodded yes"
"As much as possible"
"Sure..."
"I want their wedding to happen soon. Ratna learned about her brothers. She locked them in the room and asked them to keep them under house arrest. Ratna is upset with them to the point of fury. Though they were under our protection, I don't believe them. They would have done many things behind my back for money. They will soon find a way to escape and smack us down. Before they do anything, I want Arnav and Khushi's wedding to happen"
"If God wishes for their wedding to happen, no one could stop it. You leave it on him. he will make it"
Arvind nodded.
"I will find a sacred day and tell you. You can fix their wedding on that day"
"Please do it soon, Panditji"
"Sure"
Arvind could not be relieved until Arnav and Khushi's wedding happened. He knew how much Arnav loved Khushi and was willing to marry her. He would make it for Arnav, his only son, who reached him after many years. Arvind concluded.
To be continued...
