"So I heard that Prince Beomgyu is single?" King Kang went straight to the point in asking.
King Choi choked a bit as he heard that. "Uhm, actually he is getting engaged with the princess of the Southeast Kingdom."
"Southeast? Barf." Taehyun scowled, worried for this East prince almost having to marry a bitch.
"King Kang, I suppose you didn't teach your son to do that, did you?" King Choi questioned, motioning towards how Taehyun was swaying side to side in his chair while humming.
"Oh him? Nahh, he does that whenever he feels comfortable in a place." King Kang smiles.
"So.. what was it that you higher ups wanted from my son..?" King Choi asked with a worried expression.
"Just wanted to talk with him, maybe, ask for a date?" Taehyun asked shyly, playing with his nails.
"Oh. My. God. I accept. But you gotta talk to my son about this first." King Choi said.
Taehyun looked up at him confused. "But didn't you JUST say that he was engaged?"
"Yes but it was a forced marriage from the other kingdom. Now that you are here, you are sooo much more suitable for my son, and you're willing to ask permission first." He smiles.
"Alright then, son! Go on up there and find your prince!"
"I'll be rooting for you two! When you get married, I'll bake you so many pastries, the chefs couldn't keep up to me!"
Taehyun smiled at how silly his dad and the East King were. He nods and sets off, up the stairs to where he thinks would be the prince's room as the structure was literally a mirror image to his own kingdom.
That's when he spotted a sign in pink glitter and yellow swirls. Who wouldn't have seen that? The name, Beomie, was written on it in sparkly purple ink.
Assuming that is the East prince's room, Taehyun knocked on the door 3 times and waited when he heard "Coming!" from inside.
The door opened to an absolutely gorgeous boy. The first thing the West prince noticed was his pretty face and long eyelashes.
The basic drip he wore earlier was replaced with something a prince would wear but mixed with something casual making him look soo comfortable yet suitable to go out in public as prince.
"I- wh- ahem, what are you doing here??" The East prince asked, his eyes wide as fuck.
"Prince." Taehyun got on one knee and held Beomgyu's hand, kissing it gently. "I would like permission to take you out on a date. Get to know you and stuff?" He asked with his big glowing eyes looking straight at him ever so innocently.
Beomgyu didn't know what to do. His all time crush, THE Kang Taehyun, was asking him out on a date?! He was frozen, not knowing what to do. Buuuut, Kai Kamal Huening saved his ass.
"Oh! Hi your majesty! Gyu here is kinda shy.. but he says yes!" Best friend of Choi gleamed in his sunshine lighting, wearing a similar outfit to the East prince, just flip flopped in color giving them that fraternal twin touch.
"Ah- yeah that's what I wanted to say.." Beomgyu shyly looks away.
Taehyun stood up again, holding Beomgyu's hand gently. "After our date, I would also like marriage, if that's okay?"
"..that's really sudden. I thought I was being engaged to someone else?"
"King Choi said he'll cancel it and we can get married instead."
"My dad?? Woah.. I thought he was really going to force me to marry my rival." He chuckles.
"Don't worry about that. Worry about the date we're about to have." He smiles, walking away with his hand still attached to Beomgyu's.
Beomgyu looked back at Kai with an 'omg do you see this??' expression.
Huening Kai waved at him and showed 2 thumbs up, happy for the other.
