Pt 58: Flashbacks & Confession!
Let's begin....
Sanskar:i am not understanding anything... Are you related to Ragini?
Arav:Ragini is my bua Manaswini's daughter.Whom you are known as Janki!
Sanskar looks on.
He sees shlok who was broken in tears and stood rooted.
Sanskar:you both have this relation then why didn't you tell me this earlier?
Arav:i was going to tell you only Sanskar but there's lot more behind this that I don't know from where do i start!
After a moment of silent!
Arav:everyone used to call my bua as Manu. She was dear to our village. Everyone every single person adored her, loved her like she was their own family.he(pointing to shlok)and manu were best friends all together in schools.he loved her,he still loves her.
Arav smiles through tears.
Sanskar:but kya hua tha?
Arav:she was just 17 when she got the marriage proposal. Manu was so innocent that she agreed. And and my dada ji is a person who lives for words.he is too strict and nobody can make him change the decision if he come to the one...he fixed her marriage with Shekhar as he gave the word to his parents.they hid the fact of of him already in relationship with Sharmishta.
Flashback:
Shlok:manu..why are you agreeing to this?you had a dream remember you wanted to become a singer.
Manu:that was just a dream but this time it's papa ji's words I can't do anything.
Alok,her brother and Shlok's dad:papa galat hai manu.tum kya chahti ho woh batao.
Manu:mein kuch nahi chahti..whatever papa ji's wish are my wish!
She goes...
It was a pooja some days before the wedding.
Parvati:i thought of changing the name of Manaswini.
Everyone looks at her.
Parvati:her name would be the bad omen to my Shekhar which I don't want.
To which Mohandas accepts to her.
And she was named Janki..
And on the day of wedding..
Shlok:please manu don't do this wedding.please!
Manu:papa ji will feel bad..
Shlok: it's your life.
Manu looks at him with tears:but I can't..he will not consider me as his daughter. You know right what if someone breaks his promise.
Shlok:then you are spoiling your life.
Manu:i can do anything for him.
Shlok tried convincing her but Manu didn't agree to him.and she got married to shekhar.
Shlok left the place pursue his studies.he couldn't tell her what he feels for her neither he could stop her from the wedding.
Flashback ends
Sanskar:and how she..i mean.
He couldn't ask further thinking it might hurt the both.
Arav:and shekhar used to hit her and abuse her. Which manu hid.may be manu felt alone because she used to share everything with buddy only.
Shlok cries remembering that helpless and a painful day...
Flashback..
Shlok was in practicals during his class hours.
When his classmate came and informed him of an urgent call.
He picks the call.
Before he could speak he could listen her cries.
He didn't wanted to know who it was...
Shlok:manu!!!
Manu: please save me shlok!
It was a breaking moment for shlok when he heard her saying that!
Shlok panicked:where are you?what happened manu?
Manu:meri bacchi ko bacha lo..yahan rehne mat dho..
Automatically tears rolls down his cheeks.his legs wanted to move to her right now but he was in Bangalore..and she was in Calcutta.
Shlok:where is shekhar?
Manu:no not him...please i have to tell you something because i don't know i will live after this or not.
Shlok:manu why are you saying all this?
Manu:if it was you...if it was you whom i married... I didn't had the courage to tell you about my feelings to you because I didn't know what you think about me....
Shlok looks on with tears:manu..
Manu:aur mein darr gayi thi..papa ji nahi maante and along with what if i lost you too....but i tried to move on but he doesn't love me,instead hated me.mujhe bohoth maara usne...
Shlok:why didn't you tell me.how dare he hit you?
Manu: I don't want my child's life to be as same...
She breathes heavily....
Shlok cries:who are with you?give phone to them.wait wait..i will call thaaya ji...
Manu:no..talk to me because at least now i will not have any regret on my life at least i could talk to you before my last breath!
Shlok:why are you doing this with me? I can't..
He cries..
Manu:meri bacchi ko inse bacha lena.they are selfish...
She breathes heavily
Shlok:manu...manu...
He calls her he didn't got any response.
Shlok:manu...
Flashback ends.
Shlok: I couldn't do anything for her.i couldn't find her daughter
Sanskar: didn't her father do anything?i mean how can..
Arav interrupts:something had happened which only dada ji knows..we don't know.we tried to ask even now my dad is asking him but he doesn't say a word.there's a guilt in him. That after manu,he didn't let happen such things to happen with any other girl. But refuses to talk about manu!
Sanskar looks on.
Arav:they have told us that Ragini was no more too..and 2 years ago i came with you just to search her.because i got to know that she is going to attent the sacred heart.
Sanskar:and even after meeting her you didn't knew that she was Ragini...
Arav nods.
Sanskar:and you got to know it during swara and Laksh's wedding when i told you about her.
Arav again nods.
He sees shlok and smiles a bit:that's why that day you were treating me coming to your home first time...
He heard him saying "daamad ji pehli baar ghar aaye hai!"
Shlok smiles a bit and looks at him controlling his tears.
Arav smiles:because he always considered that he have a daughter named Ragini.even before he saw her.
Sanskar smiles.
Shlok:can i make one request with you Sanskar?
Sanskar:just order me.
Shlok:then don't let Ragini meet those persons. Parvati ji may be changed but earlier she have tortured Manaswini a lot. The responsibility i should have taken long back but i failed believing Ragini isn't......(after a pause)Give her the happiness she deserves.she failed to get the mother's love and even father's love!
Sanskar holds shlok's hand:i promise that!!
Arav:sorry sanskar that i have to keep this secret..
Sanskar:hey.. it's okay.buy my question is didn't try what happened that day.if they were really behind Ragini's mother's death then they should be punished..
Arav:we tried...but we don't have evidence.and dada ji hides it..
Sanskar:then how about along with Ragini tomorrow we meet him.
Both quickly:noo!!!
Sanskar's looks on.
Arav:i mean promise me that you won't meet him!!
Sanskar:but why?
Arav:neither you will make Ragini meet him.
Sanskar:but..
Arav:please Sanskar don't ask anything now.i will tell you why when the right time comes!
Sanskar nods.
Arav: between..buddy makes amazing hot chocolate.lets have it!
Sanskar:wow buddy then i wanna taste the hot chocolate!
Shlok looks at him.
Sanskar:i can call you that right?if you...
Shlok interrupts:why not?
And he moves to kitchen.
And Arav: It's only you Sanskar who is taking the situations lightly.i mean i hid this big fact and you are...
Sanskar interrupts:if i was on your place i would have done the same.Good that i am not in your place or else Ragini aur mera rishta badal jaatha na!
He laughs a bit.
Arav's smile vanished:what?
Sanskar:see you are her brother!
Arav with a weak smile nods to him.
Sanskar: let's move in.
When Sanskar enters the same room which had Manaswini/Janki's room.
He smiles seeing her photos..
Sanskar:he loves her still..why some times some stories such a conclusion?
He left out a breath.
Shlok was making the hot chocolate.
When Sanskar gets the video call from Ragini.
Sanskar picks the call.
Ragini: where are you?
Sanskar was startled by her sudden question.
Ragini:aisa tho nahi na,getting little freedom from me you are looking for someone else!
Listening her shlok and arav laughs
Sanskar in disbelief: O2!!
Ragini:who is laughing there?it seems you are having too much fun without me.
He shows arav and shlok to her.
Ragini:haan?where are you?what are you 3 doing together?
Sanskar:Dr.Shlok makes best hot chocolate so i am here to have it.between you enjoy there..
Ragini: don't lie.Dr Shlok want to conduct experiments on me like experimental Rat!
Shlok joins his palms:i am sorry..forgive me.i won't ask for the tests anymore!
Ragini:see the acceptance that he really experimented!
Shlok face-palms.
Ragini:when i will get the hot chocolate?
Sanskar:you went..or else you would also have got one.
Ragini:haww..me you dropped me there..between nia told me so much of the memories i too enjoyed.now nia is taking me to the park near by you come there to pick me after an hour.okay?
Sanskar:okay.meri maa!
Ragini:maa??
Sanskar:sorry Ragini!
Ragini angrily:Ragini??!!
Both reminds him:o2.
Ragini:saare samajdaar hogaye except you!
Sanskar:okay o2!
Ragini:theek hai theek hai..i am going now!
After sometime..
Sanskar leaves from there..
Shlok: it's good that you didn't say the complete truth!
Arav understands about what he was indicating:but i will tell soon.because every problems solved in his life now.and I didn't wanted to stress him saying about what dada ji did with me and Ragini!
Shlok nods!
While here Sanskar reach the park where Ragini was waiting for him.
A guy was clicking the pictures of the surrounding and Sanskar nears him.
Guy:the steps you are taking is wrong.i mean problems isn't solved yet!!
Sanskar stops listening him.
Guy:your life has turn of 360° now it's just the 180°.
Sanskar looks at him whose back was faced to him.
Guy:i have only one advice for you... Don't accept the defeat!
Sanskar:excuse me..
Guy turns and points to himself:me?
Sanskar:oh sorry..i thought you were saying for me!
Guy points to bluetooth in his ear.
Sanskar:oh sorry sorry.
Guy:but you can too take that suggestion!
Sanskar looks confused:what?
Guy smiles :i was just joking.
He forwards his hand:i am stark.. actually my name is shardul..but people call me stark!
Sanskar shakes hand with him: Sanskar!
Stark:between seeing faces i can tell the future.you seem to be really happy!
Sanskar laughs a bit:i am happy!
Stark:okay..i will leave now!
Sanskar nods.
Stark turns and moves.
Sanskar for a moment looks at him.
And stark smiles.
Sanskar shrugs his shoulder and moves to the park.
Ragini sees him:Sanskar!!
He sees her and smiles.
He moves to her.
Ragini:do you know i used to sing.. earlier!
Sanskar smiles,as her singing only collected their destiny.
Ragini:Sanskar..are you listening to me?!
Sanskar nods and smiles.
Ragini:yeah..i remember you told me about my singing.
Sanskar: let's go..
Ragini:no let's walk here around..
Sanskar nods.
They walks hand in hand.
They reach a small water bride and walks in it.
When Ragini:if i ask you something will you deny?
Sanskar:did i deny something to you?
Ragini:then can i do it myself?
Sanskar:haan..but what you want to do?
She held his collars suddenly and pulled him kisses him on his lips closing her eyes tightly.
Sanskar was shocked.he literally couldn't realise what just happened..
And then she hugs him and he sees the huge banner falling where it has I Love You Sanskar written in it.
And they were surrounded with the Red balloons.
Huge smile broke on his face.
He couldn't believe what's happening.
Ragini :I Love You So So So much Sanskar.I Love You A Lot!
Sanskar brush his hair not believing still...it still believes like a long lost dream.
And he turns to look for Ragini but she wasn't around and when he heard a music.and he turns only to find karan and nikhil and nia playing drums and guitar and piano...
And she listens the violin.and Ragini was playing it and stood in front of the mike:this one's only for you sanskar.
Sanskar covers his eyes through his palms and Smiles biting his lower lip.
Why it makes him feel like a dream.
Sanskar:Ragini...
He smiles widely slowly blinking his eyes,that he didn't wanted it to be a dream.
Ragini sings:Hum tere bin ab reh nahi sakte Tere bina kya wajood mera.
Tujhse judaa kar ho jayenge..Tho khudse bhi ho jayenge judaa
She points to him...
Joining her thumb and index fingers she signs the heart.
Kyunki tum hi ho ab tum hi ho zindagi ab tum hi ho.
Chain bhi Mera dard bhi Meri Aashiqui ab tum hi ho
Tear drops down from his eyes with the wide smile.
And this moment..he was waiting for so long....
He walks towards her but stumbles...
Ragini shouts: Sanskar!
He was not in this world...
He stood controlling himself.
Ragini:you have become o2 of your o2.
That mixture of emotions.he can't explain how he is feeling!!
