13 Chutki
Part 13 Chutki
Arnav took a "U" turn and headed towards Parvathi Nagar again which made Aman confused.
"Where are you going ASR?"
"Khushi's house..." Arnav said rigidly.
"But..."
"The boys told us that Khushi helps them in their studies. Why not they lied for Khushi?"
"You mean...?" Aman almost got his point.
"Khushi might be directed them."
Aman raised his eyebrows in amazement. Let see, how much Arnav's guess is right.
GH
Khushi was eating samosas with the boys. That's when she heard a knock on the door.
"I think Amma came...." Khushi shouted happily.
She ran to the door and opened it, expecting Garima. She was horrified, seeing CHOTTE MALIK standing with a serious expression. The boys looked at him with mouth open.
"Very smart move, Khushi. It seems you have a young ARMY for your help..." Arnav said looking at the boys smirking.
Salim gestured to others and they slowly left the Gupta house one by one. Khushi was about to close the door, Arnav got inside before she did that.
"Why are you here?" Khushi sneered.
"Why did you make them lie?" Arnav asked softly.
"I told you already. I don't know anything and I have no idea about what you are asking for." She said wearily.
"Maybe, but I want your help," Arnav asked her not beating around the bush.
"What I can do for you?" She questioned him frowning irritatingly.
"I don't know what's happening around me. Please help me."
"Look Mr., I'm already confused about what you told me. Please don't make it more complicated."
"I know why you are scared. Trust me. You won't get any problems because of me. I want to know why I got cheated." His voice was calm enough.
"You are a big businessman, who is running one of the biggest companies of India, if someone can cheat you courageously then what about me? They can do anything to me..."
"I believe there is a reason for selecting you for this marriage..." Khushi was dumbfounded. After all, she already guessed the reason. She made up herself.
"It's simple. We are poor... there is no one for us. Anyone can use us for anything. " She said angrily.
"I'm sorry. It happened beyond my knowledge." He asked genuinely.
"Why did you marry a girl who is dying?" She questioned.
Arnav sighed.
"I'm really repenting for the mistake I have done... Leave it. What happened has happened..."
Arnav Singh Raizada let out his emotions unknowingly in front of a girl he knew nothing about.
"Then what are you going to do?"
"Come with me to my home." Arnav came to the point right away.
"But why?"
"According to my family members, you are my wife. I want to see what they say."
"Whaaat! Are you mad?"
"Then only I can get to know why the drama was played."
"Look, Mr. It's your problem. Why should I come with you, that too as your wife? Do you have any idea what will be the consequence?"
"No one will get to know about it. Try to understand."
"You try to understand. Or else, I will definitely shift the area to where you can't find me."
"Just think about me before doing that..."
"Just leave..." she shouted.
"Won't you help me?"
"No... if you disturb me again then I will call the police." She warned.
"Of course, you can call the police. But please... I'm searching for someone. Without your help, I can't get to know about her whereabouts."
Khushi was alerted. HER? Who is that HER?
"Whom are you searching for?" she asked not showing her curiosity.
"I'm searching for a girl with whom I got engaged." Arnav didn't hesitate to tell that.
Khushi was speechless.
"If you are already engaged, how did you marry someone?"
"To get married to her only I agreed to marry you."
"whaaat!" she frowned couldn't understand.
"It's a big story. I will tell you if you agree to come to my home with me."
"See, my mother will kill me if she got to know about it. Middle-class people like us can't even think of such dramas. Please don't compel me."
Arnav sighed in disappointment. He understood that making this girl agree to his plan is next to impossible. He was about to leave the house,
"May I know the name of your fiancée?"
Arnav turned around and nodded yes.
"CHUTKI"
He left the house leaving Khushi with inner turmoil. She sat on the couch, stuffing a samosa in her mouth. Is he really searching for HER? Then why he married her? Why he wants her to come to his home? Is he suspecting his Dadi? What will happen if she goes to RM with CHOTTE MALIK as his wife? What will happen if Chotte Malik gets to know she is none other than Chutki and they already got married?
Khushi chuckled sarcastically. What is all this? Why her life had taken a sudden turn? She can't understand anything. She decided to leave it on Arnav. Let see, what Chotte Malik does. How he finds her out?
As Khushi denied coming with him, Arnav lost hope. He doesn't know what to do. He thought he got the biggest grip and now, he felt like he missed it.
The next day
Khushi waited for Garima to leave the house. She has important work to be done. She got ready and headed to the Oxygen Hospital. She entered the hospital, unaware that someone is following her silently. That someone is not Arnav but Aman. Arnav and Aman saw her entering the hospital when they crossed the hospital. Didn't she say middle-class people like her can't afford oxygen hospital? Then what is she doing here? They spared a glance. Arnav raised his left eyebrow contently. Understanding that, Aman got down from the car and followed Khushi, without her knowledge. He was giving LIVE commentary to Arnav. Arnav himself wanted to follow her but he can be recognized but Aman.
Khushi roamed in the Hospital casually here and there, expecting anyone to recognize her. Her expectation didn't go in vain. The nurse who was in the room on the marriage day recognized her. She was horror-stuck, seeing Khushi. She dialed Kamini who was in her room, checking a patient's file.
"Yes..."
"Doctor, the girl is here in our hospital."
"Which girl?" Kamini frowned.
"The girl who you made married to your friend's grandson..."
"Whaaat! What is she doing here?"
"Don't know doctor..."
"Bring her to my room...right now"
"Yes, Doctor..."
The nurse disconnected the call and rushed to Khushi.
"What can I do for you?" She asked Khushi.
Khushi looked at her tip to bottom.
"Head-ache (she pressed her head), Dry-cough (she coughed), I couldn't sleep you know..." she said sadly.
"Come with me." She started walking towards Kamini's room.
"Where?"
"To the special doctor of our hospital."
"Wow... I'm impressed by your service to the patients."
Khushi followed the nurse. The nurse took her to Kamini's cabin. Khushi coughed whenever the nurse looked at her. Kamini was speechless seeing Khushi.
"Goooood moooorning Doctor..." Khushi said, bending down with joining hands.
"What's the problem?"
Khushi coughed again.
"Cough... head-ache... and throat pain."
"No problem, one injection is enough," Kamini said.
"No doctor... I don't want an injection." She said fearfully.
"But why? Are you a child or what?" Kamini asked irritatingly.
"No Doctor... I read the news in a newspaper. I'm scared..."
"What news?"
"Some doctors are doing illegal things, making girls unconscious, like stealing their kidney..."
"This is rubbish..." Kamini shouted cutting her.
"I too tell the same. How rubbish...how cheap... how low they would be..." Khushi scolded, looking at Kamini through the corner of her eyes that was looking nervous.
"This is a reputed hospital you know?"
"I know doctor... but when did I say you are such kind?"
Kamini wrote a prescription hurriedly and gave it to Khushi.
"Take this medicine. You will be alright."
"Thank you, Doctor." Taking the chit, Khushi wished her joining her hands, bending down. She left the place taking back steps in the same pose.
Kamini sighed. She could not understand whether she should take Khushi easily or not. But she looked fearless.
Khushi came out of the hospital, controlling her smile. She was about to laugh out louder, she got stuck, seeing Arnav standing, leaning on the car.

Seeing Arnav, Khushi hid behind a car and closed her eyes. God... why did he come here? She slowly peeped and looked at the place where Arnav standing a few minutes ago. Composing herself, she tried to cross him casually.
