"This way, come on." Beomgyu's mother whispered, helping both Soobin and Yeonjun into the car.
"Oh! Darling~ Did you get the bags?"
"Bags? Sorry, I didn't." She looked down, pretending to be upset.
"Aw, don't be. I see you've gotten Beomgyu into the car? I'll go get the bags for you." He kissed her temple and left.
Quickly, Beomgyu's mother got into the car and started it up, driving away right away.
Beomgyu's father heard the car and gasped, running after her. "You forgot me! Ugh!" He sighed. "Guess I'll have to follow you, hm?" He started up his own car, driving out of the driveway quickly.
At the fountain, Beomhan and Jay were seated on the edge of it with Beomgyu rested in Beomhan's arms. Beomgyu had just woke up and was confused on why they were out near the fountain. How did they even know about this fountain?
But he was calm, knowing Taehyun has to be there, right next to him.
"Beomhan, about dad.."
"Shh, we're waiting for mom. Dad won't find us here.. hopefully-" he gulps.
"Mom?" Beomgyu furrowed his eyebrows.
"Look, they're here." Jay said when a car pulled up in front of them.
Yeonjun and Soobin jumped out of the car and slammed the doors shut when they saw the others. "Are you guys okay? Beomgyu's dad trailed behind us, we might have to leave again." Yeonjun said.
"Yeah. Sorry you had to find out about this Beomgyu.." Soobin frowned.
"Don't worry everyone, I have a plan." Beomgyu's mother said, holding her phone out with a certain number already dialed.
"There you guys are.." Beomgyu's father said from behind, everyone being scared as fuck when they see a knife in his hand. "Darling.. you betrayed me."
Beomgyu's mother stayed silent, frowning and looking down. She really did feel guilty about all this, but she will stick to her son's side no matter what. After all, he was on the good side.
"Dad.. stay back." Beomhan glared, holding onto Beomgyu tightly. Jay held Beomgyu's hand.
"I have to kill you all now. But I want Beomgyu first.." he said. Everyone gasped and made a protection barrier with their bodies.
"No way are we letting you hurt Beomgyu." Soobin said.
"Then, you don't mind if I hurt you first, right?" He asked, taking a step closer.
Yeonjun glares and put a hand in front of Soobin. "No. Way."
"Guys!" A voice shouts from above.
Everyone looked up to see Hueningkai waving up high from the top of a bridge with a road.
Police cars were right behind him. Huening Kai's dad popped out behind him in a cop outfit. That's right, Nabil David Huening was a cop this entire time despite cheating on Huening's biological mother with his step mom.
"Choi 'whateverhisnameis' you are under arrest for the murder of Kang Taehyun, car jacking from the Kang family, assisting a robbery at BankCenter, and finally, assisting a human trafficking organization in the kidnapping of Choi Beomgyu."
"What..?" Beomgyu's eyes widened as he heard that. In fact, everyone was surprised. Even his mom.
"Sweetie.. what are they talking about? We literally had him.. together.. hospital and everything." Beomgyu's mom questioned, staring hopelessly at the murderer in front of her.
"Darling.. I never wanted you to find out about this.. but, I had to get the perfect son for us. Turns out, he wasn't." He grins, manically.
"That's right. It seems like, two years into his childhood, he was kidnapped by a human trafficking organization. You traded him for your actual Choi Beomgyu." Hueningkai's dad said, already at the fountain since he climbed down fast as fuck.
A boy around Beomgyu's age stood there behind him awkwardly, waving at Beomgyu. "Hi, I'm Jung Sungchan, formerly, Choi Beomgyu."
"Hi.. I'm Choi Beomgyu." Beomgyu responds, feeling bad for the dude in front of him.
"Son.. is that actually you..?" Beomgyu's, well, Sungchan's mother, asked.
"Of course. By blood. Beomgyu is your actual son though, since you've been taking care of him."
"Me too if you haven't forgotten." Beomhan said from behind, uninterested tone in his voice. He was playing with Jay's hair as if there wasn't a literal murderer right in front of them.
"Soo, Choi, you're coming with me." Huening Kai's dad stepped closer, handcuffs in hand.
"What? Hell no, get the fuck away from me." Beomgyu's dad said, backing up with his knife. "Or i'll blow up the place and have Taehyun's body disintegrated.." he held up a remote with a button on it, showing he was serious.
Beomgyu quickly rushed to get Beomhan and Jay away from the fountain just incase. Everyone now stayed a safe distance away from the fountain as for Beomgyu's dad had stayed at the fountain, ready to push the button.
"You're crazy." Beomgyu's mother sighed, disappointed in the mad man she had loved. Not anymore.
"I'll go down with the boy if I have to." Beomgyu's dad said.
"No, you're going down by yourself. Taehyun's not here." Beomgyu stated, a sad smile on his face. "He's where he belongs."
It took a while, but Soobin was the first to realize. "Oh, Beomgyu.." he whispered sadly, moving closer to give him a hug.

"Now, in exchange for seeing the truth, Taehyun has to leave. Come back to where he belongs. Here." The particle said, floating to Taehyun. "You have to go back to the fountain and bring your body to rest."
"That's not a reasonable exchange.. I still have to protect Beomgyu from his dad.." Taehyun frowned, hugging Beomgyu tightly.
"I'm sorry, but this adventure must come to an end now. Beomgyu's on his own for the rest of this."
"But.." Taehyun looked at Beomgyu with teary eyes. "I promised to stay with him until the end."
"Trust me. You'll meet again one day. But for now, you must go. Your life has already come to an end."
"Beomgyu..?"
"I'll be okay, Hyunie. Just promise me we'll meet again?"
"I promise."

"..it'll be okay." Beomgyu sighed, looking up at his dad with tears in his eyes. "We'll meet again soon. I just know it."
"What are you talking about?" Beomgyu's dad huffed. He turned around and lifted the fountain up with his strong arms. (He's the hulk strong. Jk, that's an exaggeration.)
Immediately, he dropped the fountain when Taehyun's body was nowhere to be found. Only the dried blood on the ground remained.
"What the hell?" He gasped.
He was then thrown to the ground as Huening's dad had finally captured this monster.
"Woohoo! You go dad!" A voice said up hill. This time it was a girl's voice.
"Ah! Lea, is that you??"
"Nope! My name's Bahiyyih!" She waves.
"Hi dad! I'm Lea!" Another voice shouts, also waving.
"Ah! My daughter! Helloo!"
"Dad! I got this all on tape!" Huening Kai shouts, waving his camera.
"Good job son! I'll be right up with this criminal soon!" Huening's dad then dragged Beomgyu's dad up the hill and into a cop car.
The others also followed him up the hill and watched Beomgyu's dad get put away.
"Thank you for solving this mystery that's been out for years. We finally can say, case closed!" Huening's dad claps, happy and proud of Beomgyu.
"It's no problem.. I was just tryna do what's necessary. After all, the one murdered was my best friend and love of my life.. I miss him.." Beomgyu sighs.
Yeonjun furrowed his eyebrows. "You'll see him again when we're older. It's okay."
"But I want to see him now.." Beomgyu began to bawl his eyes out. He clung onto Soobin and Yeonjun as he cried, like parents holding their crying child and comforting him.

"Ugh, that's it! I want back!"
"No, come back Tae-!"
"Beomgyuuuu!! I missed youu!!"
"Hyun?! What the fuck!" Beomgyu moved his face out of Soobin's arm. "You aren't supposed to come back!"
"Meh, whatever. Fuck the seeing mirror shit rules. I AINT LETTING MY BABY CRY!!"
And so, they hug it out.
